Emerald recently performed an inspection on a house in the local area just outside of town on two acres. I interviewed several other home inspection agencies before I chose Emerald. I consider myself very detailed and knowledgeable regarding home ownership however Emerald exceeded my expectations with their great level of detail and increased my knowledge as a home owner. My experience with Emerald from the initial phone call to the receipt of the report was very good. Emerald understands the rules and regulations and it shows in their thorough review of the premise from rodents and insects to plumbing and electrical. Although I am acting on behalf of my elderly parents, I appreciated the thoroughness of the report, especially outlining not only deficiencies but positive aspects of the home being inspected. Engaged Dan's services to inspect a "fixer" house I was contemplating purchasing. He was thorough, offered onsite a lot of informationa and detail, especially regarding some of th eless obvious matters I would need to attend to. As much as inspecting, I would say he was also teaching. Emerald Inspection is a fantastic company. We're a young couple that bought our first house and googled "home inspectors Gresham." This was the first website we clicked on and after reading other reviews that compared Dan to Mike Holmes from, "Holmes On Homes" we decided to make an appointment. Everyone we came in contact with was beyond helpful, and at the inspection Dan was more thorough than I ever expected. A few days later, we even got a binder with all of the information that he went over during the inspection, including pictures and checklists, etc. I have and will refer anyone that asks me to Emerald Inspection and will absolutely use them for our subsequent homes! more
