Did not get the value I expected from this inspection. Additionally, was nickel-and-dimed during re-inspection. Would not reccomend this inpsect to family or friends. Similar...

thorough inspection, nice report, a bit too much info not neccessary. One of the more expensive inspectors but may be due to the nice book reprot that is sent to the buyer. more

Thorough service / Affordable price 1/6/2012

Emerald Inspection was referred to me by my real estate agent as being the most thorough inspector for your money. This being my first home buying experience, I wanted to be especially careful that I wasn't buying a money pit. Thorough, professional and detailed reports. They take a little longer turn-around time to get the paper copy (2 days usually), but its well worth it because of the amount of detail included in the report. Will continue to recommend Dan to clients. more

Report confusing 8/1/2011

Hello, I believe you did a very thorough job of inspecting the property on Winter Terrace, but it was difficult to connect the photos with the text of the report. There were a few clever remarks that I felt might be off-putting if we shared with a seller. The report needs to be all business, no editorial or cuteness. There is NO ONE I would recommend as highly as Dan Temple. Not only was he extremely professional and went over everything I wanted him too, his detailed write up I will use as reference as long as I own the house! Also, his stories about his dogs were amazing as well! Thanks guys! more

Great Inspecter & Company 7/31/2011

Daniel did a great job inspecting both our homes. He is very thorough with the inspection, Daniel takes pictures and explains what he finds as he goes. He lets you know what needs to be replaced or repaired. And when he give you a report it's in email and he also sends one out as well. And the inspection report goes over everything we have talked about with pictures and arrows pointing the what he is talking about. Daniel and his wife give excellent customer service and their both a joy to work with. I would highly recommend Daniel to anyone and I will be using his services again. more

Dan did a great job on our home inspection - he zeroed in on important details and explained everything well. The report he compiled will be a great resource in the first few years as we set out to make all of the major and minor corrections, and the photos and explanations in that report make it easy to follow. I also appreciate the maintenance schedules and tips he included. It's good to have a home inspector with this much experience helping you to see what you're really looking at and what is needed to have a safe, beautiful, long-lasting house. Thanks, Dan! more

Most Thorough Inspection Imaginable! 7/5/2011

This is our third house purchase, and never have we had an inspection like this one that Dan did! Not only does he do the routine inspection you would expect, but he inspects from the perspective of "the way it should be in a perfect world," which is a huge plus. He can point out deficiencies in insulation dating back to the original building (great for those of us who want the greenest house possible)to the smallest nail pop. Plus his written report is beyond thorough. Also, he is certified to include the pest inspection. Lastly, he is personally a pleasure to deal with. We are spoiled! more
