Did not get the value I expected from this inspection. Additionally, was nickel-and-dimed during re-inspection. Would not reccomend this inpsect to family or friends. Similar...

I own numerous investment properties and have hired dozens of home inspectors. Dan and his wife Muriel are the best I have EVER worked with. 6/19/2013

Buying a house is obviously a very expensive investment and an inspection report is extremely valuable to discern the quality of any real estate purchase. Dan at Emerald will give you the facts and do it with GREAT detail. Many inspectors are lazy, don't know what they are doing, or will not give all the facts because they don't want to lose referrals from selling agents. The buyer who gets one of these inspectors will regret it. No need to worry with Emerald. Too bad not all Home Inspection companies operate like this one. more

Very detailed and thorough insepction 5/28/2013

We were very pleased with the insepction report we received from Dan. It was very detailed and included lots of photos, making it very easy to follow. As out of state buyers, we were not able to attend the inspection in person, but Dan was available to answer all of our questions once we received the report and was very approchable and professional. We would highly recommend his service. more

Thanks for another super experience really helping my clients dig into the details of their home purchase. Sometimes when we do these jobs over time I think we forget that the financial investment our clients make would have seemed impossible to us when we first started out! The right move can set a family up for a significant portion of their financial nest egg as time goes by, but a wrong move can prove to be extremely costly. Mr. Temples extensive knowledge of every little thing was remarkable. My husband and I learned more than we thought was possible to know about a house. To top it off we were given an extremely organized and user friendly binder of the whole inspection process with everything we'd need to know and maintenance. Would absolutely recommend! more

HDTV Holmes on Homes type of guy 12/7/2012

I normally do not write reviews , but If you have ever watched the HGTV show, (Holmes on Homes) Dan Temple is the local Holmes. He is very detailed in his inspection and written reports plus shares his knowledge while you are there. I cannot imagine anyone doing a better job. more

Professional, extremely knowledgable, detail-oriented and answers all questions 11/15/2012

Dan inspected our new home back in September, so this is long overdue. I was recently going back through our report and was reminded of such a positive experience we had. He was very thorough and informative, pointing out maintenance issues to issues that needed more immediate attention. He walked me through everything he saw during the inspection, then his complete report rounded out the experience with photos, explanations and everything you would need to refer back to. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of an inspection. more

Great service 10/17/2012

I recently had a home inspection, it happened to be my first one, and wasn't sure what to expect. Dan made it a very easy process. Dan took me step by step and was very thorough in his inspection. He gave me a detailed inspection with lots of pictures. (which made it easy for a guy like me) Bottom line I think it is A+ more

The inspector arrived right on time and was ready to get started. The service was top quality, professional, and very user friendly. My wife and I were highly impressed with the level of detail the inspector was willing to go into. He was exceptionally knowledgeable and provided a great level of insight for performing maintenance and repairs. The report itself was also very professional, well put together, and provided a tremendous level of detail. Amazing Service 9/24/2012

We are buying our first place so we have never experinced a home inspection and did not think much about it. But we ended up with a wonderful inspection and clear and very helpful information. The binder with the photos and captions are excellent both in quality and explanation of what we can do to improve our home. We felt 100 at ease and knew that we were being told truth and honest feedback on the home. Dan is kind and patient, and let my husband walk around with him to explain how we can better the home.
