After moving to Arizona 10 years ago, it's nice to get back for some real pizza. When we lived in Tinley whenever it was time for pizza it was always Ed & Joe's. Its hard to find ...

Worst

I read most of these reviews before we went & was shocked after we ate there! Maybe I should read further...... It was good food, but no where near great. \r The service was a...

Average at best 2/11/2007

I have been trying to find a good pizza joint in Tinley Park for some time. This is not it. \r \r The service on the phone and by the delivery guy was great. The pizza was not. It was OK. Reading the other reviews one would think that it was going to be a great find. Unfortunately It is average at best or edible. It is not the greatest pizza ever. The crust was very thin and crispy which I did like, but the sauce was average and so was the sausage overall it was average. more

bad experience 12/20/2006

went last nite--12/19/06....our waitress was totally apathetic, she waited on others but not us, the place was not crowded, we waited forever for our pizza and when we got it it was COLD, when we complained to her, she didn't seem to care so we spoke to manager who acted like he doubted us! won't go again. Cons: poor service. cold pizza. lousy service more

Outstanding outside deck! 7/14/2006

My family and I have been all over the Chicagoland area and South Suburbs for dinner and must say there is not a restaurant we've found other than Ed & Joe's that offers not only superb afforable food, but also a family friendly atmosphere. No matter where we have been for the day, from boating to a dressy affair, we can always count on stopping at Ed & Joe's. There is no dress code. Just comfort. The bar area is separate from the dining area and they even offer a beautiful banquet room. Perfect for rentals. They offer a wide variety of food from sandwiches to appetizers and complete meals. The portions are very generous and you never walk away hungry. I have still yet to sample everything on the menu. The outside deck is a must try. It overlooks scenic OakPark Avenue and is located right across the street from the newly renovated train station, complete with a beautiful fountain. Treat yourself to sitting on the deck on a warm summer night with a Chicken Ceasar salad and a nice glass of wine. What a way to unwind. Pros: Plenty of parking. Lot in rear plus train station. Cons: non more

The Best Pizza and Great Atmosphere!!!! 7/9/2006

We love Ed and Joe's for many reasons. First off, with having small children, it is a real treat to find a family friendly restaurant with such a great caliber of food. The thin crust pizza is what rules here, but holy cow, have you tried the Chicken Ceasar Salad or the Tortellini Soup? Your taste buds will thank you!!! And don't get me started on Taco Pizza....yummy!!! \r \r On top of the very tasty menu items, our kids love the big windows to watch the trains and the occasional fire truck and of course the special Kid Character events. And mom and dad enjoy the occasional brib...""If you are good, we will go to Ed and Joe's for dinner"". Works every time!!! Pros: Great food, beautiful historic dining area, kid friendly more

The best thin crust pizza. 7/4/2006

The best you will find for thin crust pizza. Great variety of toppings, and 'specialty' pizzas. You have to try the taco pizza. Great atmosphere, good live music thurs - sun, and friendly staff. Plenty of available parking in several lots close to restaurant. A 'can't miss' during the football season with the halftime pizza buffet. The best thin crust pizza and great live music 10/9/2005

Absolutely the best thin crust around and not that soggy stuff in NYC. Everything else on the menu is equally as good. Plenty of great live music as well. Pros: Went non-smoking before the ban Cons: some service staff could be better, but isn't that always the case. more

Excellent 6/26/2005

I lived here in Tinley park 13 years ago and Ed and Joes was the best. Now after moving back it still is the best. It may cost more but if you have the money and you like great pizza it can't be beat more
