After moving to Arizona 10 years ago, it's nice to get back for some real pizza. When we lived in Tinley whenever it was time for pizza it was always Ed & Joe's. Its hard to find ...

Best taco pizza around. Also, you have to try sausage with giardinara...unusual, different, but very good. People are extremely pleasant and friendly. Great place for families for dinner...and drinks in the bar when kids are home!!! more

Great atmosphere is another reason we keep coming back to Ed & Joe's....in addition...the pizza RULES!!! Great old fashioned Pizza pie.....the kind we grew up on in Chicago, maybe the pizza dude is tossing that crust in the air??? Just spicy enough not tooooo much...really a good pie, and such a thin crispy crust !!!!. We found this place 10 years ago and never a dissapointment. 1st time poster here.....worth every mile you drive to get here, really is! Pros: Plenty of parking across the street! Dine on the front porch! more

It's worth the trip! 7/11/2007

These days with the price of gas and tolls we tend to stay local - but this place has us traveling the 35 minutes and 20 miles or so from Downers to get there - and it's ALWAYS worth it! The last time we were there we met people who came all the way from MI and WI! The food is terric with a great variety of pizza, and more. The servers have a sense of humor. And we can kick back and enjoy the entertainment with a couple of drinks afterward. AND WE DIDN'T GET ALL SMOKED UP! (thankfully that problem will end soon all over the county).\r Some places you go to for the food. Some places you go to for the entertainment. This place we spend the entire night at! they make me feel at home there. the servers are very friendly and i never have to wait for a table. i love the jokes i get in my emails from them. they must be good because i travel an hour just to get there. Pros: live entertainment, and games more

I LIVED DOWNTOWN FOR ALMOST 26 YEARS , SO I TRIED JUST ABOUT EVERY PIZZA THAT WAS\r OUT THERE (DOWNTOWN, NORTH SIDE, SUBURBS). Awesome place to be 7/9/2007

Ed & Joes is the place to be. The pizza is great, the service is wonderful and it?s a great family restaurant. The view is wonderful when looking out the front windows and the new Tinley Park fountain and seeing the beautiful painted benches. They have the best pizza in town, super thin crust with a great sauce. The Godmother sandwich is to die for. If you are looking for entertainment this is also the place to be because they have live music 4 nights a week. Overall, awesome place to go with friends or family. more

Super thin crust, super-tasting pizza & MORE! 7/8/2007

We've been traveling from Homewood to Tinley Park for years for the best thin-crust pizza, nice selection of beers, comfortable atmosphere & live music. The menu has great choices from start to finish, but the super-thin crust pizza is the BEST! Thanks for staying smoke-free even when much of Tinley Park reversed their decision back in January. Keep doing what you do so well and we'll keep supporting Ed & Joe's! Pros: Smoke-free, live music & the PIZZA. Cons: Can be way loud with lots of kids and music playing. Parking can be challenging. more

Best Kept Secret!! Tell your friends...... 7/7/2007

The pizza is great, but they have so much more!!! They have delicious seafood specials, pasta, yummy sandwiches (great fries), and really pleasant servers! \r \r The prices are also very good. And, if you are looking for good music, well they have that too. Live music every weekend. The chef comes out of the kitchen and plays a mean guitar. Good place to take the family, or to hang with friends!!! \r \r Try it today!!! more

Whether you are getting their delicious pizza, or getting their catering for a party, you will be very pleased with the food you get and how you are treated. My family has gotten their food for all our parties and it is always incredible. I give it 2 thumbs up. more

The best thin crust pizza around! 7/6/2007

When we lived in Tinley Park years ago, Ed and Joe's was our favorite delivery pizza. We moved away, but came back a couple of years ago to find the restaurant decor updated, but the delicious pizza unchanged. We now visit regularly, often taking our of town guests. They are always impressed by the quality of the pizza and appetizers. The pizza crust is thin and crispy, the sauce delicious and just the right amount! Any additional ingredients are also fresh and yummy! Only drawback....Friday nights can be a bit loud...however still a great night out! more

MMMMMMMMMMMMM...did you say Pizza??? Then I say Ed & Joe's!! Having recently moved to Tinley Park and knowing I would miss my favorite pizza parlor from my old neighborhood, well, that didn't last very long when I found Ed & Joe's! The pizza is crispy, lots of varieties available (the Taco Pizza is great too!), the sauce is YUM and I order the the largest one so there MIGHT be leftovers to bring home! more

Endulge your tastebuds! 7/5/2007

You can't eat at Ed & Joe's and not rate it 5 stars. We always dine in because they have a family friendly atmosphere & the servers are as great as the food. Portions are generous & the pizza is fantastic. If their fresh toppings, superb sauce is & thin crust perfection aren't your taste, try their taco pizza that is piled high with all the trimmings or a great pub-style sandwich. Be sure to bring your out of town guests to make sure they get a real South-side treat they will ask for again on the next visit. Pros: Great food, service, portions, weekend entertainment Cons: parking is limited if you don't realize the Metra lot is right across the street more
