The business advertises quality to-be-sewn on lettering, but deliver the poorest quality iron on garbage. I ordered second-day air delivery and received regular mail...of course almost a week late. As of yet, no one from the company has returned my phone calls. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU USE THIS COMPANY more

This was by far the WORST business that I have ever dealt with. I ordered 3 sets of numbers on the 12th of December and they shipped youth sizes instead of adult and the numbers that they sent were not even close to the correct font for the Redskins. I needed the numbers to have jerseys made for Christmas presents so I called and explained that it was now too late to get what I needed and they told me that I was SOL that they would only replace the numbers. I was told that I would need to speak with the owner to get a refund. I spent 2 weeks leaving messages and no one would return my call. I finally had to contact my bank to explain the situation and the people at Eastern Lettering answered the bank's call because they didn't recognize the number. The person that I spoke with first now pretended to be the owner and told me that there was nothing he could do to help me. He offered no explanation as to why he would not retirn my phone calls if he really was the owner. I finally just returned the numbers to get the replacements so that I could sell the numbers on ebay. It has now been almost 4 weeks since I sent them back and no replacement. No one will answer my calls or retrn my emails. I finally had to open up a case with Visa to hopefully get my money back. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AS THEY ARE DISHONEST AN THIEVES!! If you want to be treated like crap and receive no customer service, then this is the company for you. I have never experienced aything like this place in my life and I really do't know how they stay in business. In addition to the badservice, the quality of the product is terrible. Fonts are incorrect and the colors are different than the authentic numbers on jerseys! more

First let me say that if you look at all the positive reveiws most are the same but from different users. This right here should have the wheels turning. I recently ordered a letter and number kit for my hockey jersey. I had to contact them three times to find out what was going on. Each time they said there was an error and they didnt know what my order was. Everytime i responded within an hour or two with my exact order. About a month later i finally received my letter and number kit. It was the wrong color wrong fabric and looked like a two year old cut them out with dull scissors. I recently paid for two NFL nameplates these guys said they could make. Found them selling on eBay with Home/Aways photos selling a Jersey numbering kit. I emailed them asking only to buy a nameplate for a new player on the team waring a previous players number. They agreed to a price 0f $39+ bucks each sewn on twill material. They sent ONE crappy nameplate, wrong colors, wrong size. I filed a complaint with Paypal who sided with the POWER seller. I even provided pictures to prove my case. These people are theives I email them guarenteedauthentic which is the name they where using on eBay and explained thier mistake. They told me there was no mistake and I got what I paid for. That's when the battle started. I swapped banks about that time and I'm sure my old bank is not going to help out on the matter since they overcharged me on a final loan payment and wouldn't refund till a month later. Bank of America. another story. I wish there where a way to post pictures. I'd show the envelope they mailed the single sh!tty made nameplate (1) and picture theys said they where representing what they sell on eBay. Not only took $85 bucks, but sent a sh!tty nameplate to boot (1). Stay away. Outfit in Canada worthy of your money. I have no reason to lie but to warn others of these thieves. Bring it on EL we'll go to court. Paypal won't protect you there!!! People you are NOT protected using Paypal. Use a major CC instead. With a CC at least you have a human voice to explain your delima to provide proof and get your money back when sold bogus product. Pictures, emails, and actually product sent doesn't lie. Recently at a D.C. sports memorabilia show, there were many of the old time baseball & football players in attendance. Fans were lining up to get autographs. Anywhere from jerseys, to balls, to sports cards. However, there was a company that had a vendors booth setup that was selling numbers. Numbers? Yes, they were selling athletic numbers that are made to be sewn onto a sports jerseys. Why would anyone do that you ask? Well, its simple. They were charge $150 to have one of the old players sign their jersey. That's pretty steep sometimes, so I thought, why not have them just sign an authentic team number that the player wore for only $10, and I can have it applied to my baseball jersey later on. What a great idea. The vendor was Eastern Lettering. They were selling these numbers so quickly, the table had to shut down midday to get more supplies from their shop. The line was out the door because the sew on numbers themselves were only $6.00 each. Then again, we took the numbers to get autographed for only $10 each. I mean, the table had everything from iron on letters to custom patches, to sew on nameplates, etc. Anything you could think of, they had. Now my only dilema was, how am I going to get these authentic sports numbers sewn onto my authentic MLB jersey? All I had to do was look up and there was the gentlemen telling me about their custom stitching service. They would take my personal blank jersey, sewn on my autographed number, then sew on the corresponding players digits and sports lettering patch onto the back. I mean, everything was right here for me to customize an entire jersey. This was 2 weeks ago. Well just the other day, I opened up my mailbox & there it was. My completely customized Willie Mays jersey. It was better than I thought. The lettering on the back was arched correctly, the jersey numbers on the front & back were spaced evenly. The stitching work was beyond my expectations. I also have another jersey at home that I will be sending to them. It has iron on letters and numbers as well as iron on patches on the sleeves. I am attempting to change the name & number on them, so they are going to custom sew the new, authentic numbers & letters right over top of the iron on numbers & letters and stitch a brand new custom nameplate over top of the old one. Today was the first time we came into Eastern Lettering. I was kinda surprised at the work they did because I've never really seen anything like this before. I have like 10 diifferent jerseys that I brought in to have customized and some were basketball, baseball & football. They had numbers literally for all of them. I had vintage ones from the 70's & 80's and yes, they customized them for me. Needless to say that I was nervous about bringing my jerseys in there because I've had them for a long time. But I did and it worked out so well!! I got NITSHCKE #66 done, ATWATER #27 done, GRETZKY #99 done, SCHMIDT #20, CARLTON #27, SANDERS #21 done, and a few others. It literally looks like I went to a store and bought them. I can't tell you how happy I was. I got them all customized for under $75 each and if I went to a store, it would cost me well over $250 each. This is a one man business running from a cell phone. Maurice will charge your credit card for services that he does not intend to fullfill. I am suprise that the state of NC is still letting him do business. He is dishonest....don't let him fool you on the phone. When he gets cornered on the phone, he will hang up on you regarding your order that you have already been charged. I spoke with the BBB and they are doing an invistigation on Maurice. I will contact the IRS next. Bottom line, Maurice rips consumers and need to be shut down. I have never felt like this with an internet vendor more

These jerks owe me two jersey kits. Never recieved my kits. Never got refund. And they dodged all my phone calls and most of my e-mails. I placed an order for four kits in March 2011. I recieved only two of the kits a month later. I e-mailed them several times. I called a few times and left a voice mail. They finally returned one e-mail several weeks later saying they were on vacation and the other two kits were on back order and they'd sent them out soon. They never told me anything was on back order before sending out my partial order, which is bad customer service. Once they told me this I ordered an additional two kits through e-mail , thinking I would revieve all four kits at once (the original order from March was placed on the phone). Well, I recieved those additional two kits, but the two backorder kits I never got. And yes, I was charged for them. The envelope for the additional kits had tracking on it, which none of the previous probably dozen or so orders I had placed ever had. So I got the impression they had sent the previous ones that I never revcieved and thought I was probably lying and trying to cheat them, which was not the case. But instead of talking to me , they avoid me, like a little kid!. If they sent it and It didn't reach my house, it's not my fault. They charge about $6 for shipping when the package label says they only paid about $2. So they should be buying insurance or at least tracking with that left over $4 they are overcharging. Everytime I had called to place a phone order in the past they had answered. But after I complained I never got my kits they quit answering the phone, which tells me the've got caller ID and were dodging my calls. These guys are very unprofessional. And I know it's not just me. Read some of the other negative reviews on here! more
