Awesome and Trustworthy Service! 7/6/2015

I required a lot of work on my 2001 Bonneville but only had a certain amount to spend. Asked Peter to repair as much as possible, and he was able to repair the essentials from suspension, to engine tune-up, to new muffler and pipe, to oil change. Then came in for less than I expected. Awesome job! more

Good Repair 6/29/2015

Have an old 1990 car with an engine that seemed to be overheating. Doc Able's mechanic, figured out the problem and found a part. I no longer drive on pins and needles watching the thermostate go up to MAX. figured out the problem more

Friendly, honest and helpful 4/30/2015

I had never been to Doc Able's Auto Repair before. I went in asking them to look over the car and tell me what they recommend it needs. They gave me a detailed list and talked it through with me. But just because I don't know anything about cars, I had two other estimates. Doc Able's estimate was the most thorough and the same price as one of the estimates but far cheaper than the other. I am bringing my car back to Doc Able's. more

My experience with Doc Able's Auto Clinic was a little different. Mr. Steve G. (the owner) listed a car "for a friend-a retired police officer" on ebay. I bought the car, drove four hours to pick it up, and he wasn't even there. He told me on the phone that the garage looked the car over from top to bottom and it was in perfect mechanical condition, safe to put my kids in and to drive the four hours back home. I have text messages and other documentation to prove it.\r \r We had minor "bumps" on the way home, but nothing to indicate the major amount of issues with the car. I took it to a trusted garage my family has used for decades, who told me that there were around $2000 dollars worth of work, $900 that needed to be taken care of immediately for the safety of the vehicle, and he let me drive that piece of crap home with shot brake pads! The garage I took it to told me they were shocked that I even got it home after they'd looked at it. It also needs tires, which he told me were more

Don't believe the positive reviews-This place is truly shady. 10/30/2012

I cringe every time I drive by this place. First off, I find it hard to believe all the positive ratings on other sites such as http://YP.com and citysearch. Based on my experience with them, this is a stretch. A very long one! (They SUCK!!!)\r \r I live down the street and I used to go there for basic service, as they lured me in with their $9.99 oil change specials. Had some other minor work done, but nothing major for this simple reason:\r \r Everytime I had an oil change, they would come out with a mile long list of things I needed to get done. I would then go to my mechanic friend, who, 9 times out of 10, would look over my car and tell me the work wasn't necessary, or he felt the estimate was high. \r \r They also provided me with a "comment card" one day after an oil change. It clearly said to fill it out and bring it in the next time you come in and you get a free tire rotation. So upon my next oil change, I gave them the card and asked them to rotate my tires.\r \r When I went to pick more

Ripoff alert! 8/25/2011

I had a coupon for a routine oil change and came in so they could do it. They ""found"" a number of problems. When I took it to another shop I was told most of what they told me did not need to be fixed. They perform unnecessary repairs. They should be rated negative five stars. Plus, looking at this site I see they post fake positive reviews of their services. It doesn't take a genius to see how short, vague, and fake all those 5-star reviews are. Don't be a sucker! more
