Awsome Place 12/22/2006

Went to a big name chain was quoted $ 1300.00 to fix my brakes - OUCH - Doc Ables did it for & 350.00. Thank God i cant afford big bills on my sallary. P.S. the cleanest garage i ever been to. more

THERE ARE GOOD PEOPLE LEFT IN THE WORLD 12/21/2006

I was on my way downtown to finish some Christmas shopping and my car started to shake very bad. I pulled into to Doc Able my first time there, they were kind enough to have one of their mechanics check my car right away, it was just a hose fell off. They fixed it right away at no charge and sent me on my way. It warmed my heart that there are some good people left in the world. Thank you DOC more

If you"re looking for a reliable & honest Mechanic - Highly Recommended! 12/20/2006

I've read some of the recent reviews of Doc Ables and I was very surprised at the negative remarks. I've been a long time customer and I've found their service to be very honest and exemplary. They have never tried to mislead me into getting mechanical services that I really didn't need (unlike some other unscrupulous shops) and in fact have steered me away from unnecessary work. A few years ago, I moved out to the Northwest suburbs and went to other nearby garages, but I find myself driving the 45 minutes to go back to Doc Ables to get work done on my car. The way I figure it, I've found a place I can trust to treat me fairly so I'm going to continue to give them my business! more

THIS PLACE IS GREAT 12/20/2006

As a woman, I appreciate the time that was taken with me to help me understand why maintenance is so important for my car. I confirmed the necessary repairs with my dealer and owners manual. The saved $250.00 over the cost of the dealer. I will recommend to all my friends & neighbors. more
