Lola's Continuous Treatment... 1/29/2010

We had only had Lola for less than 10 hours before we knew something was wrong, Around 5 am, we decided to bring her to Crossroads after being referred there by a friend. Once here they diagnosed our 7 1/2 week old puppy as being parvo positive. We were well informed of what parvo was, what treatment consisted of, and felt very comfortable leaving her there for the night. Unfortunately, they are not open during the day but we would take our puppy to her (soon-to-be) regular vet and every evening bring her back for the night at Crossroads. It has been about 5 days since we first brought her here, and she shows so much improvement every day when we pick her up. She has a very caring staff surrounding her through the night and when we pull her into the driveway, she perks up to look out the window. Crossroads has helped tremendously throughout this entire ordeal, and as sad as it sounds, Lola probably knows the staff here better than she knows us. Crossroads' many techs and doctors, clari more

My experience at Crossfoads 1/1/2010

Very worried, I brought my lab in for treatment. Recently my wife and I placed rat bait in our attic and throughout the house, somehow our pet "Goldie" found a rat that was dead. She carried it in her mouth for a few seconds until we tried snatching it from her and then swollowed it! I was very happy with eveything about Crossroads. The doctor (Dr. Shim) explained everything well. They met more than my expectations. All the staff was kind, sympathetic and very helpful. I was referred here by another animal hospital and I would tell my neighbors to go to Crossroads. more

Crossroads Animal Emergency is WONDERFUL!! 12/17/2009

My daughter and I took our Lola to Crossroads last night after noticing she was ill and not responding to us. We were so relieved to find out that she is OK. The staff at Crossroads listened to our concerns and were very comforting. The care shown by Dr. Deborah Guinn was amazing. She treated Lola with love and answered all of our questions. If Dr. Guinn had her own practice, she would be caring for our Lola as her regular veterinarian. THANK YOU CROSSROADS!!!! :) more

Whispers visit with the vet. 12/11/2009

As I was at my most vulnerable state, frightened and lost on where to turn to for a Vet that I could at least get the best for my Whisper's diagnosis for her health problems, afterhours availability, and knowledge on over the counter products that could help, and feeling the care and love that this group has for our four-legged friends. I know I have hit the Jackpot. Thank you, April of Signal Hill Pet Hospital for the referral. Sincerely, Deborah Crockett more

Crossroads Loves Quincy Too 12/2/2009

My poor baby did something to his leg when jumping from my Lazy Boy chair. Help! Quincy is our baby, and he was hurting. I hurried to the phone and called my regular vet, Los Altos Animal Hospital; from there I was referred to Crossroads. Not knowing anything about your animal hospital, I called with a little hesitency (I love Los Altos Animal Hospital). The friendly receptionist calmed my reservation; she was sympathetic and knowledgeable. So, off we went to Crossroads. The directions were perfect, so we arrived in good time. Walking in the door, the receptionist was very attentive to Quincy. Of course, any mother is pleased when someone is kind to her child! We did not have to stay in the front room very long (unlike the experience with most human doctors). It was fun to have the video; it took my mind off Quincy's problem. When the doctor's assistant arrived in the waiting room, she was kind to my baby and took care not to hurt him. I also appreciated her giving me the more

The doctors and staff @ Crossroads were very tenative to "Madison" and also did a great job of comforting and keeping me calm given the circumstance of the accident. I was very pleased to see that upon Madison's return visit that she was remembered and everyone was still concerned that she was making progress and continuing to feel better since the treatment recieved here. The staff was super friendly and I appreciate their hearts and what they do on a day to day basis. Thanks to everyone! more

Roxy's Road to recovery 11/27/2009

Crossroads Animal Emergency is the only place I will take my dog after hours. The were amazing when we took our dog in after she injested snail bait. The front desk saw her condition and sent her to triage right away. The doctor examined her and quickly gave us an overview of her condition, they advised us of all of the exams and costs upfront this way we wouldn't have any surprises when the bill was presented. After an overnight stay she is so much better, the staff took great care of her and us. They worked with us ever step of the way to her recovery, everytime we called to check her status they quickly transferred us to her Doctor. If you are in the area and need an after hours animal hospital please call Crossroads. more
