Last week my friends and I dined at Casa Naranja, which is a wonderful little place with a very misleading name. They don't serve burritos, but they do serve a delightful menu of dishes that I'd classify as more Mediteranean than anything else. They seem to emphasize a tapas, or small plate theme. I noticed that although the dishes are small, they still put a lot of thought into presentation. I had the vegetable tartar. It looked like a pieace of art and tasted even better. The menu fits the creative vibe found on Mississippi. I had a pork dish as my entre that I would recommend to everyone. It had a perfect balance of smokey, sweet, and tangy tastes. I almost did not go to Casa Naranja due to someone's earlier post of rude service, however, I found the server to be extremely knowledgable and patient. An earlier post was mocking his tatoos, and really I'd say go to the restaurant just to see them. This guy was great! The menu may be slightly over priced for the area, but the taste of the food makes you forget it. The restaurant itself is painted very vibrantly with different colors in each room. It is decorated by paintings from local artists. The floor plan is a bit snug, but that should not deter you away. Oh by the way, they have an excellent cocktail list! You should definitely try it out.
