Worst

First, the restaurant is in a rather bad part of town on the river and I would not recommend going there at night. We went during the day and it was ok. Second, my family is lat...

The menu is small it does not have too much to choose from. The food is over priced and is not fesh like they state. It usually comes from plasic frozen packs, The snapper filet that I ordered took 40minutes to prepare and the black beans I wanted for my stale rice was an extra $4 dollars. After I complained to the waitress about the fish being rotten they brought me another snapper from the same rotten batch and expected me to eat it! Yuck I lost my appetite!!! But then the waitress spoke to the manager and they decided to give me a complimentary arros con leche and it had a curly black hair in it as well as a piece of the box that it comes from! Double Yuck!!! I will never eat there again! So now I eat at Garcia's which is much better. more

The food was not first rate and did not match the outrageous prices. Seabass was too greasy and the salsa verde was nowhere to be found. The snapper fillet was extremely dry and the twin lobsters had not flavor.\r What a disappointment!! We were served chips with a \r ??? salad as an appetizer and the chips were stale.\r The tostones and the yellow rice were not worth the $3.99 they charged for each of these sides.\r Do not recommend to anyone more

nestled next to the miami river, near downtown miami, is casablanca seafood bar and grill.(thier fish market is next door) it was a saturday afternoon, when we dropped anchor, not really we arrived by car. boats are welcome to dock here. the restaurant was crowded, we were able to be seated, right away outside. as soon as we sat down, we were given a complimentary small glass of wine. (very good) while we sipped the wine, and perused the menu, milton our server (very attentive) reeled off the specials of the day. a complimentary appetizer of nacho chips and fish dip were placed on the table, this was also very good. carol enjoyed a glass of prosecco( $8.00), while i drank water. there is a blue bottle of chilled water on every table ($4.95) the only sinker was, we were not told the price up front. we ordered the crab cake,($10.49) which comes with a vinegary slaw and corn relish, this was tasty. for the entree i had the special, ($29.95) florida lobster with squid, clams, mussels, scallops and mashed potatoes topped with a red sauce, this was off the hook. carol had the snapper,($19.95) which she enjoyed. we finished the meal with two cafe latte. the food was fresh, service excellent. we had a pleasurable dining experience. see you at the table!! 7/3/10 we visited this restaurant today, and we were asked if we wanted the bottle of water on the table. we are happy this problem was resolved. more

The stone crab were excellent - on a par or nearly so with Joe's. The sides were not as good but all in all very worth the price. Also on select days they have speciials which can be great. more
