Best

The stuffed lobster was just amazing and the delicious oysters, all I can say is wow overall this restaurant is a 5 Star including management and staff.

Worst

First, the restaurant is in a rather bad part of town on the river and I would not recommend going there at night. We went during the day and it was ok. Second, my family is lat...

Great find! Good food, fast service, great view outside patio. Expensive drinks and limited menu was only downfall. Overall good experience, would come here again for sure. more

The ambiance and service are great! It's a shame the quality of the food is so poor. To add insult to injury, the extremely high prices do NOT match the quality. Never again! more

THE WORST!!! Big portions? NOT!!! The staff borderline disrespectful. The waiter did not even ask if we we're satisfied. He also neglected to explain the menu. This is an example of Miami restaurant service on the decline. The food was not what i expected at all. The portions we're not satisfying at all. I expected fried grouper and got a thin grilled plain tasting boneless frozen fillet. This is not Latin style seafood. I'm sorry for people who don't know but this place SUCKS!!!! Do not waste your time and risk your life driving through Culmer/Overtown not Little Havana BTW. P.S. Fresh seafood means caught in the wild hopefully within the last two weeks. more

Despite my skepticism, and very convincing bad reviews on Casablanca's I went to the restaurant expecting to eat my words and have an experience that I could tell my friends about. But just walking in the door the smell was enough to make me want to turn around and walk right back out, it smelled like an old meet market in the middle of Hialeah, anyone who has been to one there would know what I'm talking about. For those of you who don't, it smells like the catch of the day, but more like the catch of yesterday 10 years ago! Not only was the service very sub-par, but the thing about the sneaky charges on that pretty blue bottle of water on the tables that I read about is very true! BEWARE OF THE BLUE BOTTLED WATER!! They wait until you sit there growing roots to tell you there's water on the house if you didn't want the pretty blue bottled water, which honestly is a scam, because it says it's sparkling water, but the water from the spout from my home tastes just the same! Then not only do they charge you for it, but they tried to charge us for 3 which we were positive we didn't drink 3 bottles of that water! The food was disgusting! I had the fish sandwich with the coleslaw and fries...after witnessing the horrible service and remembering the reviews, i thought it was safest to order something inexpensive so if I didn't like it, I didn't feel like I wasted alot of money, and I was right! it had noooooo taste whatsoever, the tartar sauce was the best thing about the sandwhich, the fist had no taste at all! The fish sandwich at Mcdonald's tastes much better! AND the coleslaw tasted ransid. My daughter-in-law had the two lobster tails...she let me taste her dish, it was awful, the taste was terrible...my son had the surf and turf...he ended up trying to give away his food to everyone at the table, but we had already had enough tasting of bad food. But I can tell you, the owner of the restaurant was sitting at the table behind us and their service was great! Just rediculous! don't go there, save your money and go someplace else in Miami, I've had better seafood in little hole in the wall places in Miami! This place sucks! Wished I could have eaten my words instead of their food! more

Yesterday me and my friend went there for an early dinner. She is from South Carolina. About to get the check, my friend noticed that there was a kid with his father running outside the restaurant. The kid was having difficulties breathing. My friend without hesitation went after them and save the child . He had swallowed one of those mint they give at the end. I am embarrass to say that no one on the restaurant staff thank my friend or give her an extra mint . Even the Chef that I know, he passed by the table and did not thank her for saving his customer and a human being. You are in my book chapter closed. SHAME ON YOU!!!! more

This place has the WORST...... THE WORST customer service I have ever experienced!!!! Private chefs, restaurant owners, and catering companies DO NOT SUPPORT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. I am a visiting private chef from NYC and yesterday I experienced the worst service in Miami in my life. It was a pleasure to support a business that was a referral from another chef in Miami but things turn ugly very quickly yesterday when I attempted to purchase fish. They were out of everything and anything they did have was frozen and so was their attitudes. Shortly their after it went bad when I explained that I was a seasonal chef from NYC and he said to me " I don't care where you are from you don't need to announced who you are," I said " I have never been treated like this and I will spread the word to other chef never to shop or support this establishment ever again," and then I walked out. Listen I understand that the customer is not always right but in this situation this guy was just an a**hole and I hope he doesn't treat other customer like this. I ended up going next door to Casablanca!!! They were helpful, efficient, and have the freshest selection of seafood in Miami!! Good Luck guys! more

The food was OK. The service was friendly and good. However, don't go here expecting a local seafood house as I did. The prices are high for the quality of the food. It's obvious that the staff are trained to upsell continuously and it is annoying. Their daily specials are a good attempt to get you in the door and then get your check as high as they can. more
