The stuffed lobster was just amazing and the delicious oysters, all I can say is wow overall this restaurant is a 5 Star including management and staff.

Worst

First, the restaurant is in a rather bad part of town on the river and I would not recommend going there at night. We went during the day and it was ok. Second, my family is lat...

Great restaurant, great fish. The view of the canal river is great. Very simple food with great taste and freshnes. The fried fish was excelent that it melted in the mouth. Another good thing is that the restaurant don't smell bad like other fish restaurants. more

Best Seafood Restaurant ever! 1/21/2009

My husband ,my nine year old son and I love Garcia's Seafood... the staff is very friendly, the service is great, the food, the prices are very reasonable, and the food is out of this world! highly recommend it...never had a problem, as far as racial problems there,we have never seen or experienced anything bad like that....I am Colombian-American, my hubby, Argentinean-American and our son is American... Pros: The Food, The service, The atmosphere Cons: Not in the best area more

Over priced and Over rated 1/11/2009

Ordered sandwichs and platers. At $13, a 3 oz piece of Mahi could not tell apart the bread and the fish. A pound and a haf lobster tail for $95, a lobster thermador for $56. The loster was cold, the iced tea had that foul taste when the canister is not washed and has a hint of sewer water. Asked to have it changed out for a soda. Table water was served out of a bottle without asking and had the audacity to toss it onto my bill at $11. I don't mind paying a bundle when I am splurged or when it's worth it, but this time it was highway robbery. I'm a nice customer, I'll just never never go back. It's a shame, this is definitely not the same old Casablanca from Watson island at the docks. Pros: Ambience, Cons: everything else more

My friend always raved about Casablanca when they were on Watson Island. I tried the new location for lunch and honestly I was not impressed. Food wasn't too bad, service was so so, not what I expected. Not sure I'll go back to give it another shot. more

had lunch today ordered seafood Cebiche, tasteless and at room temp. Order a breaded grouper with mash potato. Breaded grouper tasted like he had just come out of a microwave no taste. Mashed potato from a box, cold no taste. Service was excellent but the food missed the boat. $50.00\r lunch way overpriced more

I have been going to this place for years. Best seafood in Miami bar none...As to the guy bellow that says this place has a racial problem, my guess is he is the one that has the problem..there as many Anglos at Garcia's as Hispanics and no place would survive this long if they had a problem with Anglos...there is also a big customer base of local Blacks...so for those thinking of trying it out, do yourself a favor and try it out...I am on my way over there now and was just looking up the address to text to 2 friends that haven't been there before... Pros: local flavor Cons: not the greatest neighborhood more

they highly recommended this place to me, but it was actually better than expected.\r i loved it. now i am a regular customer... Pros: ambience, service, food, view, music Cons: not much parking but they got free valet more

DELICOUS! NOT RACIALLY BIASED 5/23/2008

The food here is delicious! The seafood is so fresh and the service is fast. I'm of Cuban decent but look American and I'm always confused for an American or should I say a ""Gringo"" because not just Anglos are American. I always speak in English, they have never treated me unfairly. Usually ""Gringos"" walk in there already staring at everyone as if they were aliens because yes mostly everyone who works there is Spanish. You know that Gringo look they give you, as if they are saying this guy better speak English or he should go back where he came from. If you have an open mind and are not that defensive maybe you won't give off those sticking out like a sore thumb vibes. This is an original local foodie hotspot and the food is excellent. If you want a delicious meal guaranteed, this is the place to go. Pros: Great upper sitting area for drinks after work, REALLY DELICOUS FOOD Cons: Parking, place is always packed. more
