Be careful when dining at Casablanca, overpriced all around!!!! fresh fish? dont think so!!!!... and $4.95 charged for the "beautiful blue water bottle on each table"....they do not disclose the price, once you are seated the waiter/tress will open the bottle and serve the water....$4.95 for a bottle of water you did not request?...and when asked if they serve American Coffee, they answered "yes"...No, No...we were served a "light expresso with a lot of foam".....Last Friday was my last time at Casablanca..Overpriced for the quality!!!! more

Stick with the basics for a great dinner...stone crabs for apps, grilled fish or the dolphin sandwich for dinner, key lime pie for dessert. I have tried some of the daily specials but wasn't impressed. more

$4.95 for a large water? I could've bought a soda and it still would've been cheaper, This place is a complete rip-off they didn't even tell us they charged us that much and i ate a grilled dolphin sandwhich, is that even legal?!?Never going back there again and i recommend you save yourself some time and money and don't go either. more

This used to be Joe's on the Miami River. Now a new menu, new table cloth and the prices have skyrocketed. Lunch specials are now gone. Waiters immediately serve bottled water at $4.95/bottle without asking. Service is mixed with waiters extremely pushy on premium items and not disclosing prices readily. Miss the old Joe's. Go tp Garcia's next door. more

Growing up in Upstate Ny and living in a family owned restaurant, I can really appreciate the dedication and passion that this family puts into their food. the quality is exceptional, and with the development of the miami river from the old days of , well lets just say, negative things, casablanca's is going to be the anchor that helps to continue to revitalize life along the river, and a really great idea, would be to ferry patrons that live in neo lofts, havana lofts or on the opposite side of the river to their restaurant. we urban dwellers really love this place and if they capitalized on gettting us to and from their place via boat, their revenues will increase!!!\r \r Any way you look at it it is a GREAT place to eat!\r \r james morotti more
