Carpet to Go

Amy and co-worker offered excellent assistance. They listened to what I was looking for (hardwood and carpet) and provided excellent suggestions and advice. All aspects of our project that they were involved with and responsible for went well. Communication was great as well. Installation of the hardwood floor was excellent, but we had a negative experience with installation of our carpets. This is done by subcontractors and I took this issue up separately with Carpet to Go. more

Carpet to Go removed the old flooring and installed linoleum flooring in our kitchen, pantry and laundry room. I was impressed with the installer, Greg, and how meticulous he was. He did a nice job. It was a very nice experience. more

I had spoken to the guy from Carpet to Go on the phone and he gave me a rough estimate. So I told him to come out and take a look. It turned out he was pretty close to the original estimate. Carpet to Go did a good job. After it was over, there was one or two small things they didn't do. I called them about it and they immediately came out to fix it. I would say it was very good. more

We went somewhere else first, they had the same carpet and the price was a little lower but the customer service was horrible. We found Carpet to Go and they were much better. They came out and measured for us, then sent us a sample in the mail. They knew what they were doing the whole time and did a perfect job. more

From the start, when I walked into the store in Lake City Way, they were great. I worked with Tommy and Tom and both were attentive to what I was looking for. They were quick to respond and get the guys to my house to do the measurements. The installation was done very well. I am happy with the service I received. more

Just before Christmas our water heater burst, soaking the pad and carpeting in the rec room of our finished basement. It became obvious right away that we would have to get new carpeting and pad. We stopped at Carpet to Go on impulse while driving on 1st Avenue South. They had quite a few large remnant rolls at what seemed quite reasonable prices, so we chose one after conferring with Samantha. They came out and measured within a day or so, and installed the new carpet soon thereafter, disposing of all the soaked stuff at no extra charge. No complaints! Everyone was very nice, on time, and they even applied a coupon discount on installation even though I didn't have the coupon in hand. A good experience for us, and I'd go back to Carpet to Go when and if we need more. more

We went into the store like five minutes before closing, and they kept the doors open for us. The salesman was really, really good. I'm a director of a non profit and we were doing some improvements on our limited space. I had passed by their location in Lake City a number of times so I decided to give them a call. Initially we got some new tile in our bathroom, which turned out great. Then, I got approval to get new carpet in the office, so he came back. He helped us with the carpet selection, and pointed out things important to us - something we could have for a number of years, and was low cost. I felt the entire experience from start to finish was fantastic. The gentlemen who installed carpet were sweet and kind. They were expeditious in getting the carpet installed in timely manner. more

Carpet to Go put a new carpet in the upstairs of my house. They were on time, they took the amount of time that they said they would, and the carpet was exactly what I was expecting from the samples. They didn't leave a mess. It was nice and tidy when they were done. more

I've had Carpet to Go put in two different floors at different times. One had to be done with our own materials because it needed to match the existing floor. They arranged it anyway and had a competitive bid for the work. They did it when they said they would, and it was complete on time. The salesperson and installers were all excellent. The first time they came over, they had to do some extra work in the room before they could start. It was done perfectly, and they were really pleasant about the whole experience even though it was a difficult situation for them. We were really pleased, and we're going to get a kitchen floor from them soon. more

Carpet To Go installed a linoleum floor for me. They came out one time and had to postpone the work because they couldn't get the washer and dryer out of the way. When they came back, their guy Steve stayed late and got it done with no extra charge. They also made a followup call the next day. We recently had carpets installed by the First Avenue branch in Seattle. The sales staff were knowledgeable and not pushy. They gave lots of information about the carpet and took our needs into account. We ended up purchasing two different types of carpet, one slightly nicer for upstairs, one a little cheaper for the basement. Both turned out to be excellent choices. Installers were professional and courteous. A few very minor complaints - the sales person didn't write down our color choice during our visit, so we had to make another trip down to confirm it; and the installers left a small pile of wood scraps that they forgot to take with them. So I took off one star, but I'd go back to the same store to buy more carpet. more

When replacing our carpets after 30+ years, we were anxious about the job. We couldn't have been more pleased. Everything went smoothly and the installers worked overtime to finish in one day. We highly recommend Carpets to Go. more

Our master bedroom has a closet with 3 doors that run on the metal rail. Carpet in the closet and in the bedroom itself was installed as two separate pieces. From the closet side and from the bedroom side the carpet was put under the rail. The same day as it was installed the carpet from both sides bunched up from the rail installation. I called the store and in a few days they sent me the same crue over to my place to fix the problem. The crue came in, tried to fix it. It's got better but not completely fixed. When I pointed into this fact they told me that it was the same with my old carpet. What a bunch of liars! No wonder your last customer review is two years old! Since that time you didn't have any good review! I've just called the Bellevue store manager (Betsy) again to let her know what has just happened and how disappointed I am. I am so sorry that I ordered my new carpet and installation from CarpetToGo! I wish I didn't do this! But I am not going to give up! It's either they will fix it completely or return my money. Or I will take them to court! Shame on you CarpetToGo for such a poor job! I will check if you put my review into your web. site. I you don't just trust me I will put it in a few other places! We had an estimate from someone else, and they came in at about the same price. The people at Carpet To Go were just much friendlier and more professional to deal with. That's why we went with them, and the carpets they installed came out great. more
