We bought our amazing Mazda there in 2014 or 2015, I forget which year. They were amazing! And very professional. I can't wait to go back.

My wife is a Saab lover. She has a 1995 and wanted to up grade to a newer model. We looked all over the internet and could not find a good car with low miles and in good condition. Carbiz was the only dealer in a 60 mile distance with the prefect car for us. The whole deal went smooth and pleasant. Carbiz is the dealer for us and our friends. I net Kelvin as a customer in my store and I inquired him as to what he did for a living. He informed me that he worked at Carbiz and that if I ever needed help with purchasing a vehicle to give him a call and gave me his business card. a couple of days later I searched the inventory on the Carbiz website and found the Chrysler 300C that I had been wanting for several years. I called Kelvin and scheduled an appointment to discuss purchasing this vehicle. Kelvin was not only easy to talk to but his personality and expertise definitely made my purchasing of this particular vehicle very easy, smooth, and carefree. Kelvin never made me feel as though I was under any pressure to make a purchase and during my entire time with him never did I feel as though he was a salesman but a partner in making the right decision. Kelvin definitely made my decision to purchase at this time the easiest and most stress free in all of my major purchasing experiences. Kelvin is definitely an asset to this organization and proved to me that I came first as a customer and a client. When I sat down with Myron to review the financing, I experienced the same great service. He reviewed everything in detail, answered all of my questions and most of all made me feel at ease. It has been 13 years since I purchased my last vehicle and these two individuals made it my best experience. Not only would I recommend Carbiz and the services of Kelvin Burston and Myron Boyd to family and friends but I'd say to anyone if you're even just thinking about purchasing don't go anywhere else. Going into a dealership to purchase a new car can be a bit unsettling because you're worrying about if you can settle on a deal that is best for you. I've been to several dealerships in the D.C./Baltimore area within the past few years and I have never felt as comfortable as I did when at Carbiz. They truly are dedicated to the best customer service possible and it really shows! They choose only quality cars that they know will be easy to sell. This is a great strategy because you know you're driving away with a reliable vehicle that they weren't just "trying to get rid of". I worked with Sarah and she was amazing. It was great talking with her because it felt extremely natural like I was just speaking with a friend I'd known for a while who happened to be selling me a car. I would highly recommend Carbiz to anyone searching for a painless experience to deal with. In addition, the next time I am in the market for a used car, Carbiz will certainly be the first place I look! more

Rather than being bombarded by sales reps the moment I walked in the door, I found Carbiz to be a more relaxed and comfortable environment than that of most dealerships. The sales associate that assisted me seemed more interested in helping me to find what I really wanted rather than to just make a good sale. I also found the vehicles offered by Carbiz to be either newer, have less mileage, and/or to be in better overall condition than the used cars offered by other dealers in the area at the same price. more

Hands down, the best car buying experience I have ever had. As soon as you walk into Carbiz it becomes evident that the atmosphere is a comfortable one. The employees are all knowledgable, approachable, and will go above and beyond to make sure that your experience is a good one. All of my questions were answered straightforward and in a manor that I could understand. There is no pressure or push to make the sale as the employees all strive to make sure the customer is fully satisfied. I will not buy a car from another dealer. If you haven't checked out Carbiz you are missing out. more

The two least-liked professionals are probably lawyers (of which I am one) and car salesman. So, believe me, when I say I was extremely apprehensive when visiting a used car dealership. However, after this visit, I can honestly say that I think lawyers are the only ones left on the "dislike" list. My car buying experience was fantastic from the moment I received a call from the Internet sales team (Josh) to the moment I drove off the lot. I didn't feel pressured to make an appointment over the phone and when I explained I wouldn't make it in until the next business day, the original salesman was more than happy to provide me with his colleagues' names and told me they would be happy to help. The car I hoped to test drive was sold upon my arrival but my quirky, yet exceptionally "likeable" salesman Matt offered to show me something else in my price range. I respect and appreciate that he actually stayed in my price range- he didnt try to sell me a car that was $4k more than the Mazda I originally sought out. I have to say that I have never met a more laid-back, honest, hard working salesman. He really busted his butt to make the entire experience go smoothly- and boy did it! more

Awful service 2/13/2012

Purchased my car here and at the time it was a good deal. Brought it back for service because the warranty people told me to, explained to them that it was already on the computer and there were no codes. They told me there were no codes when they put it on the computer - really? Then told me that it was functioning properly and asked if I read the owners manual. are you kidding me!!!!! Then they charged me for putting it on the computer! They also drove my car 100+ miles and used 1/4 tank of gas , reset all my personalizations and took a couple of things from the car!!!!! I will be calling the warranty company and the attorney general. Don't waste you time or money, they are useless! more

Worst car buying experience ever!!!!!!!! 2/2/2012

Terrible, absolutely terrible! Will NEVER go to this dealer again!!!! I purchased my car from Carbiz in the late fall of 2011, five days after I drove it off the lot the check engine light came on, after six trips to the service department the issue was finally resolved. A month later the passenger side door would not open from the inside. I left several messages over the period of a month for the sales associate who sold me the car to see if this issue would be covered under the warranty, each call going unanswered. Upon my last call I complained to the receptionist and was able to speak to the sales manager who was incredibly rude and blamed me for the lack of communication. I was told to call the service center and that nothing would be covered under my warranty. Two minutes later the sales associate called me back denying the whole thing, he continued to call me by another person's name twice during the conversation to which I had to correct him. If you want a deal on a car go to Carbiz, if you trustworthy people and a care that will last DON'T GO TO CARBIZ. They are worst kind of swindlers. more

Fabulous Service, Great Car 12/7/2011

Kelvin and Gregg were absolutely fantastic throughout our entire experience. We originally called Carbiz about a used Acura. I spoke with Kelvin right away and set up an appointment to see the car. It was waiting for us when we arrived. Our test drive was very enjoyable and informative as Kelvin was personable, knowledgeable, and friendly. We worked with Kelvin and purchased the car that night. Our confidence in Kelvin made us confident in carbiz. Kelvin went above and beyond from start to finish. The car we purchased was new to the lot so it had not had a full detail but Kelvin had it prepared so we could see it that day. Kelvin and Gregg stayed late to finalize all the paperwork and set up the detail for the following day so I could pick up the car after work. Just like the service we got from Kelvin, Gregg was a pleasure to work with as well! He was an incredibly personable, well-spoken, knowledgable and fun employee! He made the end of our evening fun and exciting! more

Damaged goods 12/2/2011

Bought a vehicle. Transmission leaked the next day. Their supposed 120 point inspection missed that and the fact the brakes and rotors needed to be replaced. The car has been gone for 3.5 months with 4 repairs and they offered nothing for the inconvenience. Reported them to BBB, Attorney General, my attorney, the media and more. They completely gave me a run-around about how they'd make everything right. NOPE! Screwed over. Found out another customer is also having trouble in DC and she is getting shafted. Find a more reputable dealer than these crooks. more

Stay away 8/29/2011

Stay away from this dealership. We, another dealer, bought 2008 Toyota FJ cruiser. We received a car without amplifier at the trunk and panel where was amplifier was changed. ( pictures at dealership show amplifier and different panel).I talked to Evan and he is trying to blame transportation company to steal amplifier and change a panel ( what a nonsense!!!) .Not an honest dealer, stay away. more

Carbiz is right for me 5/20/2011

My journey for a used car began where anyone else might begin their search these days: on the Internet. Now, I'm not too comfortable on the Internet or in front of a computer, but I know this is the most efficient way of searching for practically anything. I stumbled upon Carbiz's website and it looked clean and user-friendly to navigate. After searching their site for about 10 minutes or so, I decided to send an inquiry to see if I could meet with someone to discuss a mini-van I was interested in. Enter Danielle Miller. With a warm and courteous reply, I felt like I was making the right step forward in finding the car of my (proverbial) dreams. Danielle scheduled an appointment for me that same week and I met with her at MY convenience (this is very important in the hectic lifestyle I lead with 3 kids hanging on my back). Upon entering the dealership, Danielle was coincidentally the first one to greet me. We chatted for a little bit, some small talk to get to know each other, and she then walked me out onto the lot to the vehicle I had mentioned I was interested in. Wasting no time, we went for a test drive and she provided me with all the details and answered all of my questions that she had answers for at that time; the experience was very pleasant. After getting back to the dealership, there was no pressure from Danielle to force me into the car, but she certainly said the right things to keep my intentions set on coming back to Carbiz once my decision is made. We ended the meeting with a handshake and I was on my way to continue weighing my options. As of this time, I'm still doing some more research and saving some $$ before committing to a purchase, but Carbiz still holds the #1 spot of where I would like to buy my vehicle from. I enjoyed the car buying process overall. I absentmindedly did not ask for all normal things my car should have: Key, Manual, DVD, until after the sale. the purchased them and sent them to me at no charge. Highly recommended. Martin did not hard sell me on anything, which was also very nice. more

Saab 9-7x 4/12/2011

I bought a used Saab 9-7x from Carbiz two weeks ago and I truly wish I had bought all my cars from them. I have dealt with good dealers and bad dealers and these guys stood way above the rest. The dealership itself is clean and well stocked, if I have any complaint it's that sometimes it can take a while to get through to a salesperson; but it was extremely busy when I walked in. more

Simply Outstanding Customer Service 4/11/2011

Although Carbiz is a little more than an hour from my home; the drive was worthwhile. I had found a vehicle I was interested in on their website. Once at their site that car didn't work out for me. However, my salesperson(Sarah Herr) was able to show me THREE other vehicles on their lot that were in my category and price range. Sarah and all the other staff I worked with were very friendly and professional. No high pressure sales tactics or attempts to sell me something out of my price range. Although Sarah was very busy that day, she was very patient and thorough. more

Top-Notch Service 4/5/2011

I went to Carbiz this weekend to look at a used CTS (my first car ever). I left with a great car at an excellent price and a huge smile on my face (its still there two days later). I received top-notch customer service from Javier, Brian, and Allie (sp?). Though I have a feeling my ""car lawyer"" friend and I were perhaps the most obnoxious and demanding pains that Carbiz had encountered all day, the employees I dealt with remained very patient and friendly throughout the process. I would recommend them to anyone in search of a used car and would not hesitate to buy from them again. more

Great for Women buyers! 4/5/2011

After shopping around at several dealerships and being treated pretty badly, I found Carbiz totally refreshing. From the minute I walked in the door, I knew this was a different atmosphere from other dealerships. This was my first time buying a car, and as a woman I found the process very intimidating, but felt super comfortable here. Jordan was great. He helped me with the test drive, he never rushed, and was quick to answer any questions I had. I got a great price for my trade in (I did a ton of research on consumer reports and a lot of shopping around and knew what the prices should be), and a great deal on a used car. Ali helped me through all of my paperwork and explained everything I needed to know. It was such a great experience, and I would absolutely recommend Carbiz to anyone looking for a new or used car! more
