During my search for an engagement ring, I looked into many stores around Austin. I tried Calvin's and immediately felt at home. Annie was great and worked with me through the whole process. I was able to customize a spectacular ring that brought tears to my fiance's eyes. I got great value from both the ring and the service. We are looking forward to getting our bands from Calvin's. Well a girl has to find several things when she moves into a new town.....good doctors, a good hair stylist and a good jeweler. The first two I have my doubts, but I have met the best jeweler in town. I worked with a girl that had on the most beautiul ring I had seen in a long time, and she said it was custom made at Calvin's Jewelry Store. I could not keep my eyes off her ring and I knew I would be giving Calvin's Store a visit. more

My daughter recommended stopping by as she had purchased her wedding rings at Calvins. She said Sandy will take care of you like royalty, she was right! Everyone in the jewelry salon were so friendly and I felt so at ease to walk around and browse their breathtaking jewelry collection. Sandy cleaned our rings, she even dipped my white gold ring to make it sparkle again. I will definitely make a special trip from San Antonio to make my jewelry purchases with Calvins, and to visit my girl Sandy! I already have my eye on something special there. more

I never write reviews, but the excellent customer service here prompted me to. The staff here goes above and beyond. I've only been here a few times; the first time was to get my wedding ring cleaned. My wedding ring wasn't purchased here but they cleaned it on the spot and for free. It looked fantastic. The upscale 'fine jeweler' (with an impeccable reputation) where I lived out of state would charge me close to $40 and I had to wait at least three days for it to be cleaned. Needless to say I was shocked that Calvin's offered to do it right then and there and for free, especially since I had never purchased anything from them. Another time I brought a pair of earrings (costume jewelry from Banana Republic) that needed the posts shortened. Once again, the staff trimmed the posts and polished the earrings as I waited, for free. The staff has been so friendly and courteous....I'm incredibly impressed. So many merchants out there don't even bother to greet you with a hello, but Calvin's is a real gem. The jewelry selection is beautiful and classy too. Highly recommended! more

We bought our wedding rings here recently after my fiance bought my beautiful engagment ring here. So friendly and knowledgeable. Beautiful selection and free cleanings. I would give them 5 stars if they had ever once offered me a glass of the champagne they always have out...LOL I guess I have a young face. Calvin's is great! more

We recently bought my fiance's wedding band at Calvin's. From the first moment, they were wonderful. We felt welcomed and were treated like family. For a special anniversary my husband and I bought new wedding rings at Calvin's. Kathy provided excellent help to us in making our beautiful selections as she quickly understood our preferences and showed us a variety of rings. One ring had to be ordered, and their estimate of the delivery time was accurate. (It actually arrived early, which Kathy had said may happen.) The staff there has high credibility with us as they kept every agreement. Calvin's is my jewelry store; I have no reason to go anywhere else. more

Calvins went above and beyond for my fiance and I. With my Fiance serving in the military, we were on a very short time limit. They were SO accomidating to our situation. I sent my fiance to Angelica where she directed him to the ring I wanted! ( Have to say Ron Hami desings are stunning, and Calvin's is the only store in Austin that carries it!) I recently purchased an engagment ring from Calvin's, and could not be happier. My fiance loves her ring, and it is truly a one of a kind. A friend had recommended Calvin's to me, and it was not hard to see why. I shopped around at several jewerly stores, both chain and local, before selecting Calvin's. When it comes to quality and value for diamonds i found none that even came close to what they offered. In addition most of their settings are one off's, meaning that nobody else is going to be walking around with your ring on. Angelica was an absolute dream to work with, she helped me through every step of the process, and made sure i was comfortable with everything before i made the purchase. I had to have the head changed to a different cut on the setting i liked, and not only did she have this expedited so i could have it done in time, but also at no additional charge! Look at what other places will charge you to customize a peice of jewlery. She also followed up with me afterwards when my certificate came in and asked me how everything went with the propasal (she of course said yes), you do get the feeling that these people do actually care. If you are in the market for any jewlery, but in particular are beautiful ring, look no further. Thank you so much to everyone at Calvin's, you helped makes a truly life long memory more

Was in town just for the day from my home in San Antonio, so I was hesitant in even thinking of visiting Calvin's just a week before Christmas, fearing I might get some disdainful glare once it was clear I really didn't know what I wanted there.. other than to repair my wife's wedding ring & possibly change the setting? However, just as I should have remembered from my previous experiences over the years, Calvin Smith, along with his other friendly staff, graciously put me at ease, as I was invited back to their work area and while I waited with a refreshment in hand,..Calvin proceeded to re-size the ring, replace a small missing diamond ..and then cleaned & refurbished it back to it's original brilliant luster, and I had long since forgotten the beauty the ring possessed. His staff also cleaned & conditioned a tennis bracelet for me that I had brought in as well, gave me a beautiful box to put it in..and then at my request, they wrote out a description & appraisal for me so that it could be insured or sold, whichever I chose to do. Just an awesome experience...first class all the way & it added a very nice experience to our Christmas! Oh yeah, the price for all of this...was nothing! $0 Great company! more

I purchased an engagement ring from Calvin's (which can be a nerve racking experience) but from the moment I walked in and was introduced to the sales person (Angelica Dominguez) I felt respected and guided. She helped us with finding a ring in our price range that was absolutely gorgeous! Even when we were still ring shopping at different stores, she called to see how the experience was going. We had to go back. One of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. more
