Was in town just for the day from my home in San Antonio, so I was hesitant in even thinking of visiting Calvin's just a week before Christmas, fearing I might get some disdainful glare once it was clear I really didn't know what I wanted there.. other than to repair my wife's wedding ring & possibly change the setting? However, just as I should have remembered from my previous experiences over the years, Calvin Smith, along with his other friendly staff, graciously put me at ease, as I was invited back to their work area and while I waited with a refreshment in hand,..Calvin proceeded to re-size the ring, replace a small missing diamond ..and then cleaned & refurbished it back to it's original brilliant luster, and I had long since forgotten the beauty the ring possessed. His staff also cleaned & conditioned a tennis bracelet for me that I had brought in as well, gave me a beautiful box to put it in..and then at my request, they wrote out a description & appraisal for me so that it could be insured or sold, whichever I chose to do. Just an awesome experience...first class all the way & it added a very nice experience to our Christmas! Oh yeah, the price for all of this...was nothing! $0 Great company!
