Horrible customer service person. 1/25/2017

I have no problem with the shop guys at Budget Transmission Center. They are awesome and do a great job. I do have a problem with the one who takes phone calls and gives you prices and information. He is very rude and disrespectful. He curses at you and has no manners at all. I will never deal with this shop again because of that guy. Like I said, the mechanic and guys in the shop are great, but the guy on the phone was bad enough to lose my business for good. I will not recommend this company. Nobody should be spoken to like that. RESPONSE FROM Budget Transmission Center: I would like to take this opportunity to respond to your review. rebuilt my transmission for half what other places would charge 1/23/2017

Budget Transmission Center rebuilt my transmission at a very reasonable price, half what others places would charge. I was very satisfied, the vehicle runs very well now. This was my first time using their service, l was recommended to them by a good friend of mine. It's not just that the work they do is great, but their personality is great as well. Not pushy or arrogant, and very polite. They were very businesslike and they treated me very well. I have several vehicles and have another that had a problems a couple days ago. I will probably be bringing it to them at the end of this week. It's a 4 wheel drive that seems to be hanging up and I will have them adjust or repair it. At any rate, I'm going to be going back for sure. I also want to say "Thank you!" for the Christmas card they sent me. That's a very good thing they did, especially considering i only went there once before Christmas. I'm glad Budget Transmission Center is here for the working man. We are poor people and can't afford the high prices other places charge. They did a good job and it was within my budget. Great job. 1/20/2017

I took my car to Budget Transmission Center to have work done on the transmission. They do a great job. I have been a customer for a long time and I will continue to take my vehicles there. I have also recommended them to other friends. Sammy is a very good mechanic, he takes care of his customers. more

Bad service 1/18/2017

My transmission had to go back to them 3 times. Each time they told me it was fixed. And each time they did a bad job of explaining what was going on. My first visit to them was my last. more

I had seen a billboard for Budget Transmission Center and since my car was having problems, I took it to them. They figured out what the problem was and fixed it. I was about 40 minutes away from there so I didn't pick it up until the next day. They were okay with that. Great service, I would take my car there again. The prices are very fair. more

I brought my mom's car to budget transmission center to get the transmission serviced and the guys at budget really took care of us. Especially Mike he's the best. Every where else was trying to charge more the $150. They did it for 95 and fixed a transmission leak free of charge. Well highly recommend to my friends and family. more

Terrible service. 12/15/2016

I would never recommend Budget Transmission Center to anyone. They damaged my vehicle, they broke stuff on my vehicle and never took care of it. They fixed my truck, but never adjusted the linkage. The day I got it back I was driving it and it popped out of gear, which made it jump and run into another car. They fixed it after that, but not soon enough, and not the first time. They sure didn't pay for the car I hit when the work they did failed. I will never take a car there again and you shouldn't either. more

Very Horrible, expensive and time consuming services.. 12/15/2016

I don't know where to start, budget did work on my Mercedes which they initially stated that they specialized in. First the price for the rebuilt transmission went from $2800.00 to $4100.00, they kept my vehicle for over two months, and was VERY dishonest with the information that the communicated with me about my vehicle. I had to return the vehicle to budget for the same issues that they repaired under their warranty, I am supposed to be covered, but no they are trying to charge us all over again to do actual repairs to the transmission..It has been two weeks and they still have my vehicle..No one wants to talk and whenever they do finally come on the phone they are very rude, argumentative, and criticizing that the vehicle is old.. I am a mother of four children who depend on that vehicle to get them back and forth to school, doctor'sappointments, grocery store shopping, any emergencies that may come up because my children are as young as two, I have explained to Budget the importance of my vehicle being up and running, as I also need it to get to work, and school. Just like before these people could care less who they step on..It has already been two weeks and the vehicle is still sitting at budget, while they blame us for work that they did not honor..WORST NIGHTMARE I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THESE PEOPLE TO ANYONE!! more

I took my 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse to Budget Transmission Center to have the transmission fixed. They rebuilt the automatic transmission and the car has been running great ever since. They were able to finish the job within a week. The price they charged was fair. Comparable to other shops. Customer Service was great. I would take my car there again and I would recommend them to other people. more

It took them a really long time to fix the problem and then I had to come back. 11/15/2016

Budget Transmission Center change the transmission in my truck and what I didn't like is that they kept the truck for a really long time, pretty much sitting there for a while before they did anything to it. Then, they gave it back to me and after only one month of driving it, the same problem that I took the truck to them for, started happening again. So, I took the truck back and again, they kept the vehicle there for much too long. I finally got the truck back and so far, everything seems to be working. But I'm not sure. I just took it back to fix a problem with the breaks and one of the mechanics brought something up about the transmission, so I have to look into it and find out when the guarantee started, because I'm supposed to have one year of insurance on that. more

Got the run around 11/10/2016

I took my car to my dealership for an oil change and they told me a light came on the dashboard. They said it was the overdrive valve in the transmission but said they didn't want touch it because the part was under warranty. Budget Transmission Center originally installed the transmission so I had to take it back there a second time. When I got back to the shop they took a look at the car and told me it was an electrical problem they'd be able to fix. This was when I started getting the run around. I got a call saying the car was ready but when I went to pick it up, it wasn't. I could tell by how many cars they have sitting around, they're taking too many. That's not a good way run a business. I didn't get my car back for 2 weeks. I kept on calling and calling to see when it was going to be done. Finally the last time I went in, the car was actually done. I was upset and spoke to Sammy and he got upset with me. I don't recommend them. Next time I'll take my care to my dealer. I'll pay more money but at least I know I can pick up my car when they say it's done. Budget Transmission Center can tell me they'd do work for free and I still wouldn't take my car back there. more

It was good 11/4/2016

I went and talked with Budget Transmission Center and as long as he takes care of the problem, everything is fine. He was pretty upfront so I don't have a problem in that respect. They were very workable and worked with me, so I have no problem as far as that goes. We ran into a couple issues and worked through it. more
