Not good vs how much you pay 2/23/2006

The person answering the phone is very rude of no reason, got no respect Instructors let me wait beside the road to get coffee, lead me into library just to find map for next student's address, buy stuff in CVS, and it's all your payed time They let you drive on the road all the time, without teaching you 3-pt turn, parallel parking,etc. So you are not ready for road test after the last lesson, and you have to pay for more lessons To expensive just to practice turning for 10 hours in their car Pros: pick up Cons: owner is rude, slow learning progres more

Unfortunately, I can't recommend the school. Though I'm sure that they have patient instructors, mine certainly was not, and that was not encouraging. I did drive on the road a lot, but fundementals like 3-corner turns, backing up and parallel parking were pretty much rushed through at the last moment. I just recently found this forum, but had I known about it earlier and read the reviews, I may not have chosen this school. In all, I don't feel confident enough to go on the roads with the instruction I received from Brookline Driving School. I'm really shocked by the bad reviews here, because I have nothing, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to complain about. The teachers are very professional. Whenever I called, the person on the phone was respectful and again, VERY PROFESSIONAL. Instructions were very clear...my teacher was very patient with me. I would recommend this place in a heart beat!!! Pros: everything Cons: nothing more

Excellent School! 8/24/2005

Simply put, the best fleet of cars and the best group of instructors I have seen yet. Staff is very flexible, knowledgeable and accommodating. I missed an appointment once, and was able to make it up (no problems from instructors or owners). I got my license after my first road test. Thank you Brookline Driving School! Really good school. Knowledgeable instructors, very polite and patient. Flexible with scheduling behind the wheel classes as well as the actual driving test. Guide you through the entire process of getting your driving license, plus all the cars are new. I was driving in three different cars and all of them were 2005. Brookline Driving School is the best driving school in Massachusetts. I have reviewed about 100 schools and none compare to brookline driving school. The staff is so nice and they are very flexible. The teacher knows what shes tlkaing about and will help you learn to become a great driver. HIGHLY RECOMENDED. Pros: Nancy, nice new cars, quick and easy more

Best Driving School 8/22/2005

I had taken lesson from three different schools before. This school is most professional, expirienced, flexible and inexpensive. Their cars are the best, 2005 toyota camry(i called RMVand their confirmed credentials of this school). Instructors are very knwoledgeable, patient and just stress free to learn with. I felt very SAFE. I live far , but my doughter will go to this school only. Pros: very good instructors, 2005 toyota camry car, patient and helpfull more

I simply would reccomend it. It is very well-organized and comprehensive test. Before taking the test you will learn each details and also feel support from teachers. I really liked it, because I improved my driving skills which helped me to successfully pass the test. The adequate facility and clear directios makes you feel confident on taking the test. It is very easy. Just try it! more

I dont know about the reviews of other people they seem to be the small percentage of unsatisfied customers, but me and all my friends from school have used this school and none of us have had a bad experience. Warning.... Avoid this driving school.... 8/13/2005

Pay up front, but inflexible on their schedule, take like 4 months to finish the whole course, no refund. Staffs are rude and mean, they did not show up for classes to teach, but call your number at night to complain and curse how you didn't show up for classes..... Classroom instructor Nancy is great. Owner is very busy but a good driving instructor; but it is sometimes hard to schedule driving times. Young drivers may need parents to watch this company's policies and practices and assist with scheduling, even though it is working through public schools. The staff was very lax and i dont recommend paying for classroom hours here-the instructional videos we watched were very out of date: from before there was a learners permit requirement in MA. The driving hours were a waste too-none of the instructors trust that anyone can drive without them yanking the wheel every minute or so. more

Bad experience 11/18/2004

I highly caution anyone wanting to join this school. Most instructors are mean, the manager who schedules exam timings and driving lessons is inflexible, rude, dominating and full of himself.
