Brookline Driving School

Coming from a country that drives on the other side of the road, I thought I needed some driving classes before my test. On the recommendation of a friend I approached BDS. From the first class onwards I knew I had made the right decision in choosing this driving school.The instructor, Ilya was quickly able to identify my problems regarding following all the wrong cues on the road and able to help me out. I took 5 hours of driving lessons which I think will stand me in good stead on the road in the future. Thanks guys Pros: Good instructors more

I cannot recommend this school for my friends. Some will get his license with ease through this school. But, in general, they are good at-very good at- stealing your money. So, you will pay a lot for your license. Pros: one kind instructor Cons: RUDE, UNKIND, MEAN more

Today march 16 2009, I pass my driving test with ease. I couldn't be more thankful for Brookline Driving School. from the moment you start take your 5 hour driving lesson , asking questions at your 5 hour class, and taking your road test ,the Brookline Driving School makes you feel relax , I recommend taking a 5hour lesson with them cause they will show you the safety in driving and things that you thought you knew. The driving teachers handle their students so well. They make sure your fully comfortable with the road. Even if you have to do 100 parking test in one lesson , they make sure you get it right. And don't think after you pass your diving test you don't have to do more lessons, I think I going to still get even more knowledge of the road, its doesn't hard to be a better driver!! more

They no showed two times and then charged me $70 for not showing up on Easter Sunday. I had no appointment on Easter but they said he could not take any of his driving classes unless he pays $70. We had to pay it because they already had our money up front for all of his driving lessons. The man calling us left rude and threating messages! more

My friend told me about brookline driving school. The driving instructors were really helpful, experienced people.I contacted them and within a week they arranged me a road test.I had a license from United Kingdiom and they clearly told me what i need to learn to get US driving license. The instructor, especially Vitaly was great!!He showed me exactly what i need to know to pass the road test.I got my license today on first attempt. I just recently passed my road test exam through Brookline Driving School and I wanted to thank all of the driving instructors who went on the road with me! They have been extrimely helpful and nice (especially Vitaliy and Ilia)!!!!! Thank you so much guys. I`m goying to advice to all of my friends to attend this school. I was looking for the most reputable driving school to help me learn the ways of the road so that I could feel comfortable enough to get behind the wheel. I was so happy with how patient they were when we were on the road and I am no longer nervous when I get behind the wheel. They are considered one of the premier driving schools in the Newton-Needham-Brookline area for a reason, so I figured I could do no wrong. I was right! This school has good and bad instructors. It's a matter of chance who exactly you'd get. i'd like to thank Victor and Richard. They were skillful, polite and helpful. And. Beware of Vitaly. He shouts at students, he's rude, he continuously speaks on the phone while you drive. He's gender-shauvinistic, so if you're female you will hear a lot about women driving. He might try to get you nervous all over to cheat an additional driving hours out of you. And what's the worst, he cheats on the road test signaling you what to do. Also I didn't get that free drop -off service they are bragging about, but this is the least important detail. Beware of that school. Ask who will be your instructor. I called Brookline Driving school. The staff is super friendly, and the instructor was helpful in making me feel confident and helped me answer all my questions. Highly reccomended!! Pros: Great staff, Instructor more

A good friend of mine told me about this driving school. She mentioned that the teachers really knew what they were doing with a lot of experience being in the business for years. Anyways, I called and made an appointment, and the instructor was great and had a lot of patience showing me all of the things that I needed to know for my driver test. They seem to have a lot of pride in their work, which is something you don't see often. Anyways, got my license on the first try! Highly recommended for all people. Well, to my experiences, this is not good for your driving skills or confidence. They know how to earn money, not know how to teach or to drive. You will get your license in expense of your money and time. Cons: poor service, poor skills, poor car more

I am not happy to think about this BDS. Although some people wrote good reviews(I was surprised), in my experience, this school was stealing money from newcommer of Boston area. Actually, their instructors were not so good, compared to other schools. Maybe you can get your license through this school, but you should pay a lot of money and time. I am a 100% satisfied customer with the service provided by this school. The staff was accommodating, patient and knowledgeable. I took driving lessons and passed the driving test within a couple of weeks. I highly recommend you ""Brookline driving school"". They do everything for you. I admire their very honest and high quality business. My teacher was very good. People forget that instructors are professionally certified. They?re licensed to teach and know what they?re doing. It?s just a matter of one?s willingness to learn. Some of the reviews that are posted are clearly from people miserably riddled with complaints, and don?t understand the concept of LEARNING how to drive.Instractor provided me with both intuitive instruction and actual - normal driving conditions (because it?s impractical to think that driving is something you do alone, with no interaction with anyone or anything around you). Therefore multitasking is crucial. Now I?m comfortable in a car, even with a bus on the right side and a big truck on the left. I?m surprised I?m confident enough to get on a highway, and I parallel park like a pro (freaking triangle lol). Thank you guys for everything. I have attended this school recently. From my experiences, I cannot recommend it to other guys. Their skills are really bad, and they don't know how to teach.
