Best

Without the Bridal Reflection stores my Wedding would have been a disaster. I looked all over for the "pefect' gown. They found it for me and set me up like a Princess. Thanks for...

Worst

Beautiful selection and nice staff. Most dresses in the store can be found at other Long Island salons around 300 to 500 dollars cheaper. They have outrageous fees for alterations...

Not the ideal experience 11/1/2011

First of all, making an appointment to look for gowns was close to impossible. I called 4 times with no luck (being hung up on and never called back). I finally physically went there to speak with someone and was able to make an appointment. Upon arriving at my appointment and meeting my consultant the first thing i was told was "" with your budget, there really isnt much to show you"". I was so upset and felt like a nobody. I tried on a few dresses and was not impressed with the service or the over-priced dresses. The soon-to-be bride in the next dressing room was having the same terrible experience. I left and found my dream dress at a regular bridal boutique for MUCH less expensive than the ones at bridal reflections. This place IS NOT what I expected at all! more

Very Overpriced. 5/6/2011

Beautiful selection and nice staff. Most dresses in the store can be found at other Long Island salons around 300 to 500 dollars cheaper. They have outrageous fees for alterations (over $300 for a bustle) . A particular Maggie Sottero dress they had in Massapequa was $1600 and in a bridal salon in Patchogue same exact dress was $1100 with any veil included. They order a size or two up so they can charge for for alterations. more

beautiful dresses 2/5/2010

I had been looking for my wedding gown for months and had no luck. When I went to Bridal Reflections my consultant Nawal helped me find the ""one"". The dress I had always envisioned for my wedding day. She was so helpful and knowledgable about the dresses. Needless to say, I had a great experience and a gorgeous wedding gown. No complaints! Pros: great selection of gowns bridal and bridesmaids more

An Amazing Experience! 1/25/2010

I cannot begin to express how great my experience was. I bought my beautiful wedding gown from their salon and I couldnt have been any happier. The staff was so friendly and proffessional, I really felt comfortable everytime I walked in. My seamstress was amazing. The dress looked like it was made just for me. Thank you Bridal Reflections for making my wedding day dreams come true. Your store is on a level on its own. Girls, if your looking for a great experience and a gorgeous wedding gown, go to Bridal Reflections! It's amazing. \r Pros: Amazing service and beautiful gowns more

Terrible 12/21/2009

Like a previous reviewer said, they were great until I ordered my dress. \r \r I have had a HORRIBLE experience with this company after my order. The staff is extremely rude to you. I have had the girl at the front desk roll her eyes at me and managers completely blow me off. They are also extremely overpriced. I found the same EXACT dress I purchased at this store for $500 less at another store. They try to entice you by giving you a ""discount"" but the discount just brings them in line with other stores pricing. They ordered my dress 2 sizes too large in order to make more money off my alterations, a complete rip off. They run way over appointment times (for current customers), leaving you sitting out in the waiting room for as much as a half hour. Pros: Nice until you give them your money Cons: Service, Cost more

From Jill & Greg 10/27/2009

We never expected less from you. The dresses were all perfect and the seamstresses were great. My gown was absolutely outrageous. Thank you so much for making me and my bridal party look and feel great. \r Love Always,\r Jill and Greg\r more

Excellence in service and fashion! 5/13/2009

I was a bride featured on Platinum Weddings in 2008. My wedding like many other brides became the focus of my life for a year and a half in which a lot of planning, selection of detail and every possible moment went into putting together the perfect day. I was planning the true princess wedding at Oheka Castle. The biggest selection is how the bride will look. Bridal Reflections for my wedding out did themselves.\r \r I want to thank Bridal Reflections from the bottom of my heart for a great experience from start to finish. The company?s professionalism was outstanding. Words truly are not enough to express how much my venture with the salon meant to me during this special time in my life. The best match was being introduced to Cristina DeMarco. She was beyond fantastic as the rest of the staff. I felt like royalty each time I phoned, visited or needed something to be done ? there was not a moment?s hesitation to assist. \r \r I used the salon to select everything possible for the wedding ? headpieces, accessories, mother of the bride, grandmother, flower girl and my bridesmaids etc. There was not a section of the salon that I did not utilize and therefore, I feel it is important to say how much I put my faith into this company and would continue to do so in the future. The salon always knew how to make my visions come to life. There was no task too small ? they always came through. It is important for them to know how much they have meant to me, how much they made my dream wedding come to life and have a client forever with me. \r \r My dress was so breathtaking because of the work and details they all put into it. I felt on top of the world and did not want to get out of my dress. The fit was incredible, thank you for a job well done. They were family to me that really makes all of the difference. \r \r Even beyond the wedding I appreciate the contact and making sure if anything is needed you are there. I wish I was getting married again so I could be at the salon as much as I was over the past year and a half. I miss them however this just means many more wonderful occasions to come together and I know I can count on Bridal Reflections to always be there, making me feel special, and finding the perfect outfit ? a one of a kind to make my days a unique experience.\r \r I need to also give a very special thank you to Lee who works behind the scenes. She was incredible for all of the special extras and creativity she instilled for the wedding ? believe me we kept her working over the past year with lots of assignments and expectations for the big day. She even created a one of a kind pouchie couture dress that I will have forever for our love Lexi ? our dog. \r \r My entire family, friends, and my husband were so impressed with my experience with all of you. It was my least stressful wedding experience and that was huge with all of the planning especially since we were on Platinum Weddings ? lots of specific details. \r \r Jaimie & Gregg Furst \r &\r The Perla Family\r \r \r more

Great Experience! Would use them for any formal event 1/28/2009

I've been to both Carl Place and Massapequa Bridal Reflections. Both experiences were great! Staff is very friendly and the dresses and selections were amazing. Also the ladies that they have assigned to do the alterations are great! Pros: Ambience is great & the staff is very professional Cons: dresses are pricey more

Rude Rude Rude 10/24/2008

I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND BRIDAL REFLECTIONS, THAT?S OF COURSE IF YOU WANT TO HAVE GREAT EXPERIENCE DRESS SHOPPING! From the moment I called to make my appointment I was given the run around and was asked if I could AFFORD the price range the dresses at the store ran for. I DONT believe that?s a nice question to ask any potential client! The sales women are rude and very condescending, including the receptionist. I was rushed by the sales woman that ""helped"" me out and didn?t spend more than 20 minutes with me, then expected that I would make a decision in purchasing a dress that was CLEARLY out of my price range even though that was discussed prior to my arrival. more

Bridal Reflections in Carle Place is Awfully Terrible 10/10/2008

I would not recommend Bridal Reflection in Carle Place. They are overpriced, do not follow appointment time, have very bad service. They make you wait 1 hour after your appointment time. They order a dress 3 times bigger so that you have to pay a fortune for the alterations. Pros: Nothing good to say about them Cons: Cheap fabric and overpriced for the quality of the gowns more

Amazing dresses ...the experience not quite as amazing 9/25/2008

\r If you had spoken to me the day I first visited the bridal store my rating probably would have been 5 stars. I had a rather trying day when I walked into their store last year with many, many rude and inconsiderate saleswomen making me hate dress shopping. I was just about ready to give up when my friend convinced me to come to this one last store. I had a very clear picture of what I didn?t want and an image of what I did. I also had a modest budget (around a thousand) and didn?t think I would get what I wanted for that price. The sales lady was amazing, patient and completely catered to my needs. I found the wedding dress of my dreams at only a hundred dollars more than what I wanted to spend. \r \r However, the issues came during the fittings. I was put on hold for 2 hours to make an appointment and hung up on twice. They ordered a dress that was at least 3 sizes too big and had to be taken in everywhere ?which meant the tailoring totaled up to $500 ? making the dress a good chunk more than out of my price range. Plus they weren?t exactly pleasant to my future mother in law and sister when they came for my second fitting and essentially shooed them out when they tried to take a peek at my gown. My third fitting I had to correct the tailor on a bunch of issues. She was nice and accommodating but still for what I was paying I didn?t think I?d have to point out that much. The day I picked it up the dress was flawless and the women there were incredibly nice and congratulated me a million times on my wedding. \r \r Overall I?m happy I went there but I feel pretty lukewarm about the whole ordeal. \r Pros: stunning gowns, beautiful store, incredible selection Cons: hidden costs, expensive, customer service needs some work more

Many experiences at Bridal Reflections, all wonderful! 8/16/2008

My daughter's wedding is in May of 2009. Nikki and I have been to Bridal Reflections on many occassions trying to find the bridesmaids dress that would compliment her gown for her special day. At first she thought she had found the perfect dress but ince then has changed her mind. Given the late hours Nikki works, she was never able to make an appointment that would allow her enough time to try on the dresses. Very often this would keep here there a bit later than the closing time. Nicole, as well as many of hte ohter young ladies, were ALWAYS understanding and willing to give her the time she needed due to the situation. At no time did we ever feel rushed. Nicole was there with a smile on her face, answering any and all questions we may have had. She is honest but gracious with her opinion and made Nikki heel good about the decision she made. \r \r Another young lady was willing to try on two of the dresses for my daughter since the size was very small. This meant so much to Nikki and really helped her in making her decision. We appreciated her taking the time to do that for us.\r \r Their staff is wonderful! I was married in 1981 and my attendants bought their gowns from Bridal Reflections as well. Nothing has changed in the way of service. What has changed is the elegant and tasteful bridal store Bridal Reflections has evolved into!\r \r more

the wedding dress experience that I am trying to forget 9/30/2007

Beautiful salon (NYC&Westbury) w/amazing dress selection but not worth it. My experience: the wrong dress was made. I do not understand why would they not check the dress before having me drive 2 hrs for 1st fitting -totally unacceptable. The last fitting was 2 days before wedding-stressful! They were not willing to offer any compensation except 50% off veil. Seamstress from hell, extremely unaccomodating, very pushy & rude. Also, salesgirl informed me at last fitting not to worry, that the blusher would be free. Not only was it not free but it was not included. On wedding day this was rather upsetting & disappointing. Also, on wedding day bustling came apart. My bridal attendant was shocked. After getting a hold of MGR post wedding she had the audacity to tell me that blusher was $40 and that i did not order it -throw me a bone? I was basically called a liar & very insulted. I am in no way a Bridezilla....but I could not believe the horrible customer service I received from a ""reputable"" salon. At least I loved the dress....but I would have preffered to have purchased it somewhere else. Pros: explained below.... Cons: explained below.... more

Worst Grown Shopping Experience Ever 1/20/2007

The problem with this store is that you can not brouse any weddng dresses your self. You don't even see any dresses really - they are behind mirrored doors. You are left at the mercy of your consultant who pulls dresses according to what your specifications are and your price range. The consultant brought me 4 dresses that I did not like and then I was told that what I wanted wasn't in my budget (which was under $2,000, for a plain and simple dress). We saw some dresses that would have been flattering but they were not shown to us. The sales staff was very rude and basically told me ""good luck"" and showed me the door. Bridal reflections does not care about the bride at all and I can't stomach having someone else bring me dresses that they think I would like (when they don't know me or my tastes). Do not go here, you will only be dissappointed. Pros: Parking great, Ambience nice Cons: Customer service horrible more

Disorganized, Dishonest 9/5/2006

The seamstress lied about the work she did on my dress, and she didn't finish until two days before the wedding! Then when my mother picked up my Bridal Reflections gown two days before my wedding, the saleswomen said my unattached petticoat was included in the dress bag. It wasn't. On my wedding day, three hours before the wedding, we had to rush to Macy's to get a petticoat. What a nightmare! \r Stay away from this disorganized and dishonest bridal salon. more
