What's interesting is that there is another review regarding the service as being ""snobby"" and ""unfriendly"". Unfortunately, nothing has changed. And that review was LAST MARCH!\r
If I could give this place half a star, I would. Words cannot describe how my mother and I felt when we left. The positive points: the owner is extremely nice and the place is beautiful. The negative points: the uncaring, extremely rude consultant I was placed with. After being left alone to look at gowns, my mother and I waited patiently for a consultant who, after a considerable amount of time, approached us and asked if we needed help. She did not introduce herself, did not smile, and came across as if she did not want to help us. Her attitude was apparent and she seemed to be rushing us. When trying on gowns, she left us alone standing in the mirror and walked off. This was something that I did NOT observe with the other consultants. I also noticed her walking over to another group of customers and laughing and talking. While handing her the dresses back, she SNATCHED the dresses from my mother's hand. I spoke with the owner/manager to explain the incident and how uncomfortable and non enjoyable the experience was. She was sympathetic and apologetic, but that doesn't change the fact that it happened. I wish I would have demanded an apology from the consultant for snatching the dresses from my mother. Needless to say, I left nearly in tears. Shopping for bridal gowns is already an emotional experience, it helps when you have sensitive, caring, and at least nice people to help you. Lastly, I am always an advocate for NOT pulling the racism card every time there is a negative incident somewhere, but there are times when you really wonder, 'is the reason she doesn't want to help me is because I am of a different race?'. Unfortunately, this negative incident ruined my day .
Pros: Owner/Manager nice, place is beautiful, average selection that you'd find elsewhere
Cons: Everything else, especially the service
