Front staff is not alwas rude, but close to it. Uncaring is a better word. They act like you are bothering them when you call, and they can't get rid of you soon enough. I needed a prescription refilled once and when CVS faxed the request, the nursing staff indicated in the CHART notes that a refill HAD been authorized, but did not follow through by letting the pharmacy know, so CVS couldn't refill it. After repeatedly calling CVS to contact Dr. Bray's office, CVS told me they got a return fax to ""quit bothering them"". Obviously if the script HAD been authorized for a refill, CVS would not be repeatedly faxing for authorization. DUH! Instead of finding out what was wrong, Dr. Bray's staff blew both CVS and myself off completely! This was a medication that COULD NOT be stopped without a gradual tapering off. I went through more than a month of dangerous, uncomfortable, and scary withdrawal symptoms before being able to finally actually talk with the medical staff (as opposed to front office administration), and when they finally realized that no approval had actually been SENT to CVS, they finally faxed an authorization (no apology though). I was horribly frightened that I would have a stroke or something before I could get anyone to listen to me. You will probably not get anyone on the ""medical staff"" verbally, so give up. Best you can do is leave a voicemail and hope someone actually listens and follows through. If you have ongoing medical problems, versus someone who only occasionally needs to see a Physician, pick another office. Dr. Bray is a good doctor, her PA's are OK, but you simply cannot get in, or ever get a ""live body"" to talk to. What good is a doctor without a backup staff? The receptionist will only transfer you to the nurses line to leave a message. I have had experiences like this in other medical offices, even a surgeon. Unfortunately it seems the work ethic of this unretired generation stinks. It's called LAZY. Barely get by.
Pros: Dr. Bray is good-but you'll never see her, almost as bad for the PA's.
Cons: Front office staff acts like they can't be bothered with you. Can't get into see the Doctor.
