Review content:
I have been going to Dr. Bray's office for over two years. It is rare to see Dr. Bray, but I don't mind seeing the nurse practioners. That being said, Dr. Bray is much nicer than the nurses and administrative staff in the office. The recent review about ""uneducated Americans"" is about on par with the attitude you'll find at the office. Furthermore, it is very hard to get an appointment the day of - or week of - calling. Perhaps this is the way things are now, which is the main reason why I have not gone searching for another doctor. However, after my experience today, I'm going to be actively looking for someone else. I called in today because I'm pretty sure I have strep (I can see it in the back of my throat) and was immediately transferred to the nurses' line because there are no appointments available today. I left a message and after waiting for one hour, I called again. The woman who answered the phone was extremely annoyed when I told her that I was waiting to hear back from the office. I asked her if it was at all possible if I could just come in for a strep test and she told me that I didn't understand how it worked and that I would have to wait until the afternoon until a nurse would return my call. I usually can handle rude behavior ,especially because I understand that this woman probably takes a million calls like mine each day. But I feel like I have been kicked while I'm already down. I do not feel well, my throat is killing me, I've taken off work and now I feel incredibly helpless while I have to wait for a phone call. On top of it all, if I do have the luck of being able to come in for a test, I dread having to deal with everyone at Dr. Bray's office. Needless to say, I recommend looking for another doctor in the Decatur/Atlanta area if you are currently searching. Best of luck.
Pros: The cats in the office are pretty friendly
Cons: unfriendly staff, hard to get an appointment, long wait
