So, my Precious, ('03 MINI Cooper, Chili Red, White Rims), was hit by equipment that flew off of the back of a truck on I-35. I was so upset. The driver of the truck denied the whole incident, and even went as far as to call me names and accuse me of accosting him for ""drug money"" ! Unbelievable, I know, but all true.
After wrangling the driver's information out of him, I had to deal with his insurance company. Who I won't name, but rhymes with.. Graveller's. They were giving me all kinds of trouble like how they may or may not cover the damages, and how would I like it if I was in his shoes, and not wanting to cover the rental for weekends.. the list goes on. Well, needless to say, I was exasperated at this point. I had to choose a shop to fix my poor vehicle, and after the lines I had gotten from the insurance company, I knew I would not be using their shops. I wanted to use my own, which is normally MINI of Austin, but they don't do body work, so they recommended Berli's. I knew they wouldn't send me anywhere but the best, so I trusted their word. Boy, am I glad I did.
I may have had one of the worst bouts with driver/insurance ever, but I had the best car repair experience I have ever known. I'm not exaggerating. John Perez was the gentleman who helped me through the whole ordeal, and if he hadn't been assisting me, I might have lost my mind. He was so helpful and thorough. So very thorough! He made sure that my MINI was restored and my white rims were gleaming again.
I could not be any happier with the service I received from John and the rest of the staff at Berli's.
