We've used Barr Chem-Dry several times over the past 5 years to clean our carpets. Josh and his team do an outstanding job as the carpets look new with each cleaning. Their service offers low-water, faster drying and their cleaning solution is green-certified, so it’s safer for our two dogs. Chem Dry is the best! The service person called ahead to ensure I was home. He was very professional. He answered all of my questions with out hesitation. Due to the high volume of traffic all 3 levels of the house bedrooms, stairs and basement the carpet were cleaned beyond my expectations. I have recommended Chem Dry to several of my friends. I rate Chem Dry AAAAAA+!!!!! more

Very responsive 5/9/2016

This is the third time that I have used the services of the folks over at Barr Chem-Dry and as always I am happy with how everything turned out. These guys are incredibly responsive and they do a great job with scheduling you quickly. Unfortunately this last time we had a little bit of a scheduling mix up and the technicians did not show up till several hours after the window that I had scheduled. That is not on the technicians of course, and the technicians are great. They kept in touch with me and made sure I was up to date and aware of what was going on. The service was really good and in fact I had to leave midway through them working and I felt completely comfortable leaving them in my home alone. Once they finished they let me know and they left and locked the door behind them which I really appreciated. I will definitely use them again and hope that this time there is no scheduling issue. more

My carpet looks great 5/6/2016

I really loved the work that the guy from Barr Chem-Dry did for me. The guy was on time and he got right to work cleaning my carpet. He really knew what he was doing, so it did not take him very long to get my carpet looking amazing again. My only knock is that it took a long time for my carpet to dry and so my housecleaning service got some dust in it and that soaked into the carpet because it had not dried yet. Other than that though my carpet does look amazing and these guys do their work at a really great price so I cannot really complain. I will definitely use them again. more

Disapointed. 5/3/2016

Personally, Very nice technicians, however, when carpet dried, most stains remained, which I expected would have been gone, at least mostly gone. Other cleanings my carpet have had resulted in getting rid of all or most of the stains...even animal related...in a word....disappointed....Now I will have to have another company clean the carpet....more expense... more

Wonderful results! 4/21/2016

Josh came to our house in just a couple of days after I called. him. He came to clean our carpets after we dog-sat with a large shedding dog for more than a week. Now our carpets look like brand new, despite the fact they are the "builders grade" carpets instlalled nearly 8 years ago. Perfct job, as usual!! more

It was good overall 4/13/2016

Barr Chem-Dry responded quickly and got someone out fast who did good work. They just cleaned the master bedroom and basement carpets, and I was impressed at how quickly they could get someone out to do it in a couple of days. The first day the person arrived on time, but the second day they didn't--and I had to call to ask where they were. I would possibly use them again just because I already used them once. more

Great price, great work 4/8/2016

I recently had the folks over at Barr Chem-Dry come by and clean my carpets and boy am I happy with the results. My carpets had gotten particularly dingy over the years and I finally broke down and hired these guys and I am glad that I did. The technician they sent out was really cool and professional, and he worked very quickly and efficiently. Once he was done, I swear my carpets looked like they were brand new. It was like his cleaner was a time machine that took my carpet back to the day I bought it. The price was very good and I would definitely use them again in the future. more

Don't go anywhere else 3/24/2016

Barr Chem-Dry managed to get the carpet--with stains and an odor--that hadn't been cleaned in 14 years looking like brand new. It was my first time using them and we will absolutely use them again. They took care of the problem, cleaning two upstairs bedrooms and the staircase. The carpet dried in a couple of hours. Their prices were excellent: they charged by the square foot, not by the room. The techs assessed the condition of the carpet and told me what they would do that would fit within the square-foot package. Their technicians were professional and I didn't have to monitor them. They also helped me and moved one of the beds out of a room. more

Very fast and efficient 2/29/2016

The two guys that came to my home from Barr Chem-Dry were very pleasant. They were fast and incredibly efficient in doing their work and I have to say that I am very impressed with the end results. My couches and chairs look fantastic after they worked their magic. They were even able to get this really tough stain out of one of my chairs that my cat had left, which I thought there was no way they could do but they sure proved me wrong. They do really good work and the speed at which they work makes for a very pleasant overall experience. more

They are thorough and outstanding 2/18/2016

Barr Chem-Dry is the only one we use for the last couple of years--ever since we discovered him. He gets the work done and is efficient, punctual and I can't find anything wrong. They provide perfect customer service, and I couldn't say a thing bad about them. That company is great. more

Very good service and attention to detail 2/4/2016

The technician at Barr Chem-Dry who cleaned my off-white couch took extra time to make sure it was cleaned. He is really good and has been here every time for the past few years. He always makes sure everything is done right and everything is taken care of. He takes his work seriously and I really appreciate him. I've been with Bar Chem-Dry for more than 10 years, and they have also cleaned my wall-to-wall carpeting and area rugs. The people that come here are really good. more

Happy with the overall chem dry company but not with this franchise. 1/22/2016

I would probably do a different Chem dry area next time and not Barr Chem-Dry. Part of it is because they were so late and by the time they got in we were in a full rain storm. He said that they could come in and drag in the wet hose and leaves but they were really late, like 2 hours late, or the other option was to reschedule on Christmas Eve and of course I did not want the leaves and the wet hose during the storm, so if they didn't have a problem with scheduling we wouldn't have had that problem to begin with. I also noticed the workers smoke and other things and I know I have a strong nose but between the work that they laid and the smokey smell I wasn't too satisfied. I realize that it was a busy time of year when they came and we have had them in the past and really like them, I just wouldn't use this franchise again, I would use a different one. more

Cleaned well 12/22/2015

I've used Barr Chem-Dry twice now and they're great for cleaning both carpeting and upholstery. I'd definitely use them again and recommend them to others. The carpet cleaning was good, we had enzyme treatments that were a little expensive, but the overall cleaning of the carpet was a reasonable price. more

I had used Barr Chem-Dry before and had them come out a second time to clean my carpets. The man who came to do the cleaning was very quick, nice, and personable and did a great job with my carpets. He was on time and I like that he told me exactly what he was going to do and answered any questions that I had while he was there. Prices are definitely competitive with Barr Chem-Dry. It has been a very good experience with them so far and I would not hesitate to use them again!! more
