I always enjoy going to Avenda Institute of New Orleans because they know how to treat their customoers. They ask you if you would like some tea ad usually can take you on the spot for your appointment. I love the sensation journey they do with the different smells. more

I truly believe the last facial I had at Aveda was the best one I have ever had. The young lady was very professionaland thorough. Believe it or not, I have had facials in the mall at aveda and it was not nearly as relaxing and professional as the one we are discussing. more

I have been getting single process hair color for over 2 years at Aveda. The students do a great job. The price is great. I have never been disappointed with any of the students there. more

I visited with a stylist to identify the right look for an upcoming wedding. The stylist was very attentive and gave me some great insight into products that would facilitate my updo. Two hairstyles were put together and photos were taken. I am a happy mother-of-the-groom! more

I went to Aveda a while ago with a GF of mine and the service was great then. I recently went back to try the hair services this time and my hair was better than the $50 hair places that I was going to. I am loving Aveda now, the people as well as the products. Before leaving I scheduled my return appointment for the following week. My GF's have scheduled appointments too. Thanks again Kendra!!!! See you soon.... more

I love Aveda! I usually have my very long hair color and cut. Everyone is very professional. I would not return for a pedicure though because I felt I did not receive what was expected. The student appeared as though she did not want to touch my feet or polish my toes. However I will return for hair appointments. more

I am a brunette and went in to have my hair colored red - I even showed them a picture. My hair is exactly the same color as it was before the stylist "colored" it. No change. At all. I'm still a brunette. Spend the extra couple of bucks and have a real professional treat your hair. more

Green Science Facial is a big disapoinment. Hot steam to the face was very uncomfortable, there was very little massaging and frankly, the smell was unpleasant. I would not go back for this treatment again. more

Sofia was great and I love my hair, I went under the old pricing. I feel the new pricing will be to no benefit to customer or to the student and in all honesty to the detriment of the student. I thought the mission of Aveda Institute was for the education of the student and to showcase a great line of products. Think the new owners should rethink their business model more

Having been a client of the Aveda school since it first opened in the Metairie, I sacraficed speedy professional cuts and styles for myself and my daughter to let students train on us. The service , attitude and treatment has consistently gone down hill. We are no longer willing to put up with being treated like second class citizens. I am happy to go somewhere else and pay more for professional treatment. For a fourteen year old notice rude treatment at the check in desk, its time to move on. I used to look forward to salon sevices and all the other services. BYE, not willing to be treated rudely anymore more

Unplanned mysix year old (Michael) and I showed up to the Aveda Institute for a last haircut before leaving the country for an extended period. I've used Aveda 1980's - our experience reinforced my loyalty!! Another stylist stepped up so we could be cut together!!! Michael's stylist Jordan must be a magician because despite all the tangles - Jordan cut, washed and "styled" Michael as the soccer star he dreams to be ... and ... the only peep I heard out of him was the giggle from getting his first hairwash. My stylist and I hope I get this right, Allysa was equally proficient and professional. A great experience for father and son. As there is no Aveda where we will be heading, we will have fond memories and a few pictures of our last cut before departure. We will look forward to our return - hopefully with a cut or two inbetween so as not to be too troublesome to the always remarkable Aveda Team. Thank you Mr. Jordan and Ms. Allysa and all the team at Aveda. It put a bright spot on a day when Michael had to get 5 shots for the trip.
