Automax Framingham

In almost 50 years of driving, I had the worst experience with Automax Service, Framingham. Not only did they not complete 2 important repairs after having the car for a week, a third one (front headlight) that I was charged for, was still broken.\r I immediately called the Service Manager who agreed to refund the lighting work if I brought the car back for him to verify. When I returned he was rude, dismissive and hostile. He told me that I wasn't getting my money back and there was no legal recourse for me. When I asked for the name of the owner he walked away and said - look it up on their website. By the way, the owner isn't listed\r \r All this for a $125 refund that he agreed to. Remember, this guy is the manager. more

I nearly bought a car here, but ultimately they took me across the street to their sister store (automax preowned) as I fell I love with a car over there. I was really pleased with the whole organization. Thanks everyone. more

worst sales department ever. They have a 2009 Black RL for sale now for 3 months.. they ask 29k i offer 28k... they refuse.. i wait a month they lower it to 28k.. i offer 27k and leave my phone number to call me ill buy it at 27k. They never call and then they lower the car to 27k and then tell me they have other buyers they wont sell it to me. Thanks to John in sales what a prick!! avoid this place unless you want to be ripped off or like being taken for a sucker more

I wanted to take the time out and say my experience with Auto Max associates went above and beyond to make it comfortable in purchasing a vehicle for my daughter. Robbie S was the sales agent and took the time to explain economical aspects of a vehicle and safety aspects of a vehicle to enter this journey as a new driver I am sorry I forgot the Finance Managers first name it was Mr. Sullivan he made it easy to get through the finance part of the vehicle as well I gave a very good rating it does not hurt to go in and see Robbie S with no pressure in buying a car he will take his time to make sure you are really comfortable investing in a vehicle. I have been buying off lease used cars for along time and I can honestly say that my experience at Automax was the best I have ever had. I wasn't pressured in any way. The car I chose from their website was as nice in person as it was on line. I sat with the finance mgr, Dan, and he was able to get me a better rate then anywhere I checked. I also purchase an extended warranty which gave better coverage then any certified vehicle I had looked at. You would be a fool not to purchase from them, not only will you save money with their no haggle pricing but you'll enjoy buying a car as well. more

We did lots of research and every angle led to Automax. We weren't let down at all. Robbie was great, the no haggle pricing was great, none of the car dealership stress of wondering if you're getting taken or not. My wife wants to go back soon for her next car. more

Recently bought an Infiniti G35 from Robby at Automax Preowned! I couldnt be more pleased with my purchase I told Robby what I was looking for and the price range and he got me into my new car pretty much the same day! After giving me a break down of the paper work that needed to be signed off on and exactly what it was I was sitting in my new G35! we have purchased two cars from russell at automax preowned. what i love about automax is that they're a family ran company and thats how my wife and myself have been treated both times we bought a car from automax. the last car we purchased was a infiniti it looks like a new car. two days after we bought the car we found that it had a weak battery. we called russell at automax and he spoke to his service manager who told us to go to infiniti purchase a battery (it was prorated) bring the recipt back to automax and they would pay us for the battery. they cut us a check for the battery on the spot just like they said they would keep in mind this is a used car sold as is and automax was under no legal obligation to replace the battery but they did. big dealerships could learn a lesson from automax and treat people with honesty and respect and do what you say you will. thats how automax preowned operates. i would not hesitate to reccomend family or friends to automax preowned. \r more

We had a great experience at Automax. No pressure on buying the car - just a nice car at a great price. In fact, to say there was no pressure is an understatement - they seemed to know they have great cars and seem to not be concerned if you are or are not going to buy it. We were a bit surprised at the no haggling policy, because that is not really clear from their website. That said, the prices are good so it's not really a concern, and it's actually better for shopping. Paul was very nice and warm. The only issue that came up with our car was that we wanted to have our mechanic look at it, and they weren't excited about that; eventually, Paul took the car to the mechanic himself (because he didn't want me to drive it) and it did check out just fine. Also, we had to wait a few days for them to actually receive the title from the bank where they had paid off the loan, so that was annoying, but they handled it as well as they could have. We love the car, and we got it at a very good price. I also liked the ""one stop shopping"" where they put the plates on it and did the inspection/registration; we paid $120 for this and it was ok. One thing I wasn't happy about was a $500 ""documentation fee"" that no-one mentioned until after we told them we want the car. more
