people are so full of it. 10/29/2011

Let me start by saying, I've been a customer at arnold's for 7 years, in that time i have seen a lot of unknowledgable people \r come in to the store while i was there, most of the time they get the information that they need or get informed as to what they \r need. I am a commercial cutter and have watched as curtis helped people that did not even buy there equipment there. I'm \r sure that some of these people in here are legitamate and some \r are just aholes. matter of fact some can't even spell simple words.\r and who said that equipment service is quick. I can't even beleive that people have been swayed by the fast food fast convienence stores and the pace that everybody is moving at i think there a little confused or out of their head. the people at arnold's are great people to deal with. they allways have what i need for my wright stander and my toro mowers and snowthrowers\r this world today is full of a bunch of winey unsatisfied people fortunately a great # of people that are serviced by arnold's each year will be back all of u other snivelers go on your way and arnold's will be a much better place for the rest of us.\r \r more

You've Got To Be Kidding 10/12/2011

This place has seen me for the last time. Had a mower in there 4 times in 1 season and they still couldn't get it fixed right. Twice they lost the mower and couldn't find it on there lot. Once I had to go down there and help them find it. I had them work on my riding mower only because thats were the mower was originally purchased. All 4 times the mower was in there I told them that it was fouling spark plugs very fast, (like in 30 minutes of mowing the plug would be so fouled I would have to stop, let the mower cool off and then clean the plug) they never did fix this problem. The last time it was in there, they replaced the blade drive belt, got the mower home and the belt was slipping,, called them to come get the mower and fix the belt problem, it took them almost 2 weeks to pickup the mower. Then it took them almost 3 weeks to get the right belt and replace it, after they had put the wrong belt on it. No More Arnolds For Me. more

Give respect, and you get it, Owner is SO helpful 2/8/2011

It all started when my mower stopped working. I took my mower apart, and as I was putting it back together, a part broke. It was 20 minutes to 6 and I hurried and called Arnolds. They looked up the part and didnt have it in stock. The owner Curtis, said he had the part on a new mower that he could take off and sell me. I explained that I wouldnt be able to make it until after he closed. He said he would wait. I drove in, and Curtis went and removed the part I needed off a brand new model to help me out. After he sold me the $5 part, he asked me if I knew how to put it back on. I told him that I had never done it before. He spent 20 minutes explaining how to put the part on, even taking the time to draw pictures so I really knew how to do it. I would have easily put the new part on and messed my mower up even worse had he not explained it to me. If you go in and respect the workers, they will bend over backwards for you. Something you will NOT get anywhere else. You can always call them up and ask them questions. I would definitely recommend them. The owner is as old as my Grandpa but he is far from a grumpy old man. He loves to laugh and help people. more

Rude and uncaring before I could ask for help. 10/21/2010

They were rude before I could even explain my reason for calling. I won't consider them for anything in the future. more

Great location worthless service and service 8/19/2010

I have a small lawn service. I received a product RECALL (gas tank catching fire) on the Wright Stander. Arnold's refused to do the recall work because I didn't perches it from him..And was told to take it to where I perched it Blue Valley Tractor. Arnold's is 1.5 miles from my shop Blue Valley Tractor is 25 miles... I maybe Arnold's only clams to be and Authorizer Wright Dealer. I have perched a commercial grass trimmer also the best back pack blower Stil makes. I have contacted Wright in hopes they will look in to how Authorized Arnold's lawn and garden really is..I've also contacted call for Action and Problem Solvers..I believe changing the gas tank was over there head.. more

Slow and uncaring 5/26/2010

Arnolds had my mower for a week before they even had a specialist look at it (under warranty). Then denied coverage. This after constant prodding. They will not tell you when work will be completed unless you hound them and they act as if they could care less. This is a mom and pop shop that lost it's touch years ago and now lives on it's reputation (which is long gone). Steer clear. Pros: ? Cons: Uncaring and almost uncapable more

Crooks! Worst Service ever experienced!! 9/14/2009

I recently purchased a PTO clutch for my Wright Stander that had went out and replaced it with a new one from Arnold's. It was an expensive part $382. I had it on my mower for 7 Days and it (the new clutch) went out again. \r I took it in to them to get it sent back to the manufacturer and get a new one, remind you it was only 7 days since I purchased it. They refused to send it back even with my consent to pay for the shipping and thus they developed some Ponzi scheme of how it had went out, and told me that i was wrong and they would not return it. \r It was the worst bunch of incompetent crooks I have ever done business with. Their attitudes there just reflects how their customer service is. Poor!\r I know I will never give them one more cent of mine and I would encourage others who dont want to get ""hosed"" in some way now or later, to stay away as well. Pros: Nothing Cons: Absolute Jerks- Crooks more

A VERY FRIENDLY PLACE 12/17/2008

I just love going to Arnold's! It's a local business that's been around for many years and they really know their stuff! I can call anytime and get advice or just stop by the store and someone is always willing to help! How many stores can you go to these days and actually get to talk with and get helped by the owner? Not many! I recomend this store to everyone looking for a new mower or somewhere to get a mower serviced!!!!!! Pros: Friendly & knows about their product. Cons: Does not take AMEX more

Better to buy online than from these yahooz 7/22/2008

I purchased a Toro Super Recycler from these guys in March 2008. I shopped for this mower since and spent considerable time evaluating the best place to buy. I found Arnolds, Smitty's and Young?s to be my closest Toro dealerships. Online had several, less expensive options, but, in the end, I selected Arnolds because I was led to believe that their service was the tipping factor. In fact, I was told several things that swayed my decision and then it turned out they lied about them. (tank of gas, 30-day guarantee, etc.) Hell, a tank of gas at purchase would've been about $1!!\r \r I inquired just last week about a blade sharpening and was told it would take 3-5 days!! What?!?!? Unacceptable! They should be able to sharpen a blade while I wait. To exacerbate the issue, I ask Arnolds for a free demo on how to get the blade off and am told two things: \r \r ? ""the owner's manual explains it pretty well""; or \r ? ""bring it in and we'll charge you $7"". \r \r Wow! What GREAT service (sarcasm).\r \r Also, they constantly remind me that they can't give out ""something for nothing"" even if I did buy the mower there. they're very penny-ante and cheap when it comes to post purchase customer service issues.\r \r Basically, Arnolds ADDED absolutely NO VALUE to the purchase of my Super Recycler. What have they done that I could not have gotten someplace else or via the internet? I don't regret that I bought the Toro Super Recycler, only that I bought it from them. I suggest buying online or elsewhere.\r \r I sure learned my lesson about Arnolds and their ""service"". I will never buy anything from Arnolds again and for sure will not be recommending to anyone else. In fact, it will be the opposite. I will go out of my way to tell people to stay away. Pros: Toro product is great; but not related to anything Arnolds does Cons: after purchase service/courtesy; penny ante and cheap more

My lawn has been growing for months!!! 6/14/2008

I took my recently purchased lawnmower back into Arnold's several weeks ago. I'm a very busy person and don't have the time to do my own repairs, although I considered it after being told that replacing the drive belt was going to cost close to $100. Unfortunately, I left my mower there for the repairs to be completed...\r \r I was told my mower would be done two weeks later.\r \r I called 2 1/2 weeks later to ensure that my mower was done and apparently they had an injury in the shop. I was told that my mower would then be done the next Wednesday. I then called the Saturday following the Wednesday that the work was supposed to have been completed and was told I was another two days out.\r \r On top of that, it took the staff at least 10 minutes on the phone to even find my order and to tell me what the status of it was, all done with a completely condescending attitude. \r \r Avoid this place like the plague if you want quick quality service!!! more
