I purchased a Toro Super Recycler from these guys in March 2008. I shopped for this mower since and spent considerable time evaluating the best place to buy. I found Arnolds, Smitty's and Young?s to be my closest Toro dealerships. Online had several, less expensive options, but, in the end, I selected Arnolds because I was led to believe that their service was the tipping factor. In fact, I was told several things that swayed my decision and then it turned out they lied about them. (tank of gas, 30-day guarantee, etc.) Hell, a tank of gas at purchase would've been about $1!!\r
\r
I inquired just last week about a blade sharpening and was told it would take 3-5 days!! What?!?!? Unacceptable! They should be able to sharpen a blade while I wait. To exacerbate the issue, I ask Arnolds for a free demo on how to get the blade off and am told two things: \r
\r
? ""the owner's manual explains it pretty well""; or \r
? ""bring it in and we'll charge you $7"". \r
\r
Wow! What GREAT service (sarcasm).\r
\r
Also, they constantly remind me that they can't give out ""something for nothing"" even if I did buy the mower there. they're very penny-ante and cheap when it comes to post purchase customer service issues.\r
\r
Basically, Arnolds ADDED absolutely NO VALUE to the purchase of my Super Recycler. What have they done that I could not have gotten someplace else or via the internet? I don't regret that I bought the Toro Super Recycler, only that I bought it from them. I suggest buying online or elsewhere.\r

I sure learned my lesson about Arnolds and their ""service"". I will never buy anything from Arnolds again and for sure will not be recommending to anyone else. In fact, it will be the opposite. I will go out of my way to tell people to stay away.
Pros: Toro product is great; but not related to anything Arnolds does
Cons: after purchase service/courtesy; penny ante and cheap
