Living in an aging house you soon expect the aging HVAC system to break beyond repair. After using Appleton-Campbell for a few years to maintain our old systems our heat pump finally died. We had Appleton-Campbell install a new heat pump and that experience was great from working with the dispatchers over the phone through the final installation. They were up front with the cost and helped us get the best price and any manufacturer’s rebates. Financing was a breeze. Fast forward a year. Our house has two HVAC zones. The basement and first floor are separate from the heat pump zone. Well as you expect the bottom zone went out as well. One call the Appleton-Campbell and in a few days we had a new system installed. This didn’t go as well as the heat pump installation. The unit installed was found to have a manufacture’s defect. Appleton-Campbell was always very courteous and helpful when dealing with us. They were prompt and got the job done under warranty. When fixing the defect they inadvertently damaged the heating/cooling coil without knowing it. A few days passed and the unit quit working efficiently. One call to Appleton-Campbell and they had a new coil and installed it in less than 24 hours. I began to worry about this unit as it is brand new and Appleton-Campbell had to come service/repair it 3 times in less than 4 months. I called the office to inquire if they could extend the warranty or something like that. They didn’t hesitate to come up with a solution that exceeds my expectations. I am very pleased with Appleton-Campbell. Not many companies these days will bend over backwards to help their customers like Appleton-Campbell did for us. I highly recommended them. I never give anyone or anything a 5 star review but Appleton-Campbell earned all 5 stars and then some. Outstanding! more

  • Appleton Campbell was founded in 1976 by the current President's grandfather, Jim Appleton. It is family owned and operated with a strong focus on employee, community and customer relations. The company holds a Class A license with masters in Plumbing, HVAC, Gas Fitter and Electrical as well as certified geothermal design and install. The technicians receive paid training for both technical knowledge and customer service. The service technicians work on flat rate pricing which means they quote the jobs upfront and get approval prior to starting the work. Customers do not have pricing surprises at the end of the job, do not pay for a slower technician, and do not have to pay any additional charges for parts to be delivered to their home. After over 30 years in business, the company had its first IRS audit and was proud to announce that no changes to the tax return were required.
