Smooth move 8/27/2009

I used American Choice Van Lines because my friend recommended them and I am glad he did. The people I dealt with on the phone were always helpful. The crew arrived on time both for pickup and delivery. I found both crews to be friendly and professional. The delivery crew was particularly impressive. They were very careful and did not make me nervous that my new home or my things would be damaged. They specifically asked me where each item should be placed and were very patient with me when I changed my mind or had to think about it for a minute. I also had several items of furniture and about 50 boxes were stored at the American Choice storage for several months, and it appears to have been well taken care of. Thanks! Friendly and honest movers 8/26/2009

I can't say enough good things about that company! A friend recommended them and I am so happy with how everything worked out. They quoted me at hundreds of dollars less then other movers (i.e. United Moving), the guys who set you up on the phone are so friendly, and the movers themselves are fast, courteous, and responsible. Everyone should use them next time they move--you will be very glad you did. more

Recommend 100% 8/26/2009

I recently used them from North San Jose to Sunnyvale my entire home. Not only were they very helpful when I had first called, but also did a wonderful job of making my move stress free and just a great day. They showed up early and finished early as well. Everyone is very polite... and most importantly careful and fast... Not one problem at all! more

Alex and the guys from American Choice helped me with my move! Extremely polite and friendly, the crew turned what could have been a stressful day of potential calamities into a success. When my estimates of storage and hauling needs proved to be significantly below my actual needs. His crew even returned early the next day, prior to their other scheduled jobs, to help with moving unplanned items. I will use American Choice for all of my moves, and will recommend American Choice to all of my family and friends. Thanks! more

I moved and Life is good! 8/18/2009

American Choice Van Lines moved me from San Francisco, CA to Buffalo, NY and they were wonderful- prompt, accomodating, friendly and efficient! I felt like my good friends were helping me move. They wrapped every single peace in furniture pads, and unwrapped in NY. Estimate was a little bit lower, because weight was 6770lbs., they quoted me 6100lbs.. But it's not a big deal for us. I am happy, me and my wife and kids were invited to neighbours dinner. Pros: great service and super fast! Cons: N/A more

From start to finish (initial phone contact, estimate appointment and written follow up/delivery of estimate, actual move, including our household goods in storage at American Choice, as well as clearing our previous residence), We rate our experience with American Choice as very positive. All the employees involved with our move, Vlad for the estimate, and Dmitri, Antonio and Louis for moving were professional, courteous & friendly. All knew their jobs and performed them most capably. The estimate was competitive and fair and our final cost was not over the quoted amount. We will not hesitate to recommend American Choice to anyone who asks. Many thanks to everyone involved. good moving 8/17/2009

I'd just like to thanks the company who moved us on August 2.The team was very efficient, packed my stuff well, and was very courteous. The guys worked quickly and were careful with our furniture. All the furniture was wrapped in blankets, and the mattress and box spring was wrapped in plastic. Moving is awful but if you have to do it, these are the folks to do it with. I would recommend them to all my friends. Thanks again for the great job. more

Great moving experiance 8/12/2009

American Choice were the best part of my moving experience, they were professional, courteous, efficient, timely and reasonably priced. It started snowing in the morning, their crew wrapped all the furniture in blankets, every piece was perfect when it arrived at the new house. Who could have asked for anything more? Worst Move of my life 8/3/2009

What a disaster! The movers showed up three hours late in a Budget rental truck. Three very young students from Russia who were completely unprepared and inexperienced. They also did not know the word Fragile in English. I now have three boxes of broken crystal and china, completely shattered. When I called the manager to complain that they were so late, he started screaming at me. He asked me to give the phone to one of the students and he told them to stop my move! Their style is to threaten, yell, and basically break everything you own. The move cost twice the quoted amount as these kids did not know how to pack and you pay by the hour. I have moved many times, and I have never in my life seen such an unprofessional, discourteous organization. I strongly recommend never to use this company. AMAZING 6/27/2009

My brother and I used them 2 years ago to move all of our stuff. This year I used them to move my 4 br house from San Jose to Santa Cruz. These guys are very professional and most importantly very efficient. I hate moving. Its time consuming and hard work. These guys will make your life much easier. They charge $95 an hour for three guys but its totally worth it. I scheduled a move out time with them at the last minute. Their Customer Service person was very accomodating and squeezed me in their busy schedule. I will definitely use them again in the future. more

GREAT SERVICE! SATISFIED! 6/10/2009

Moving team arrived on time and did what would have taken my friends and I all day and all night in just a few hours. We were amazed at how hard and quickly the team worked in California and the same crew delivered our furniture and boxes to Seattle, WA. everyone was very freindly and pleasant. We're still opening up boxes but everything so far has been in great shape. We got an estimate from a Allied that wanted to charge 2 times more that American Choice Van Lines! Sometimes the old adage "you get what you paid for" is not true. We got top notch service and I would definitely use this company again and recommend them to everyone I know who needs a mover. more

I used American Choice Van Lines and it turned out to be not so bad afterall. The scheduling was a breeze when the office contacted us, after giving them an inventory list of items that I was moving, they had a quote ready for me and told me everything I needed to know about moving and what I should do next. When the movers showed up, there were 2 guys, 1 driver, and they worked really fast. They delivered everything six days later (as scheduled) and even called me a few hours beforehand to let me know they were on their way. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing except for maybe buying more rolls of tape. The salesman told me ahead of time to buy a few rolls but I under estimated when I was at the store and had to pay a little extra for more. Otherwise I highly recommend! more

Service was excellent 5/28/2009

I called to American Choice Van Lines and gave them a very short notice of my need to move. They were very attentive to my needs. On the day of the move, the movers showed up right on time and got right to work. My entire apartment was loaded into the truck in 2 hours, and they paid attention to every detail, wrapping my furniture as needed, handling my breakable and expensive items with care as if it were their own. They drove non-stop from San Jose, CA to my new home in Sacramento, CA, and were just as efficient unloading the truck as they were unloading. I would use them again any time I needed to move, they three men they sent me were fantastic! more

Best move in my life 5/21/2009

Excellent movers! They did exactly what they said they would do (and a lot more!!) Showed up on time, finished on time, wrapped everything very carefully, labeled everything that they wrapped. I wasn't nickel and dimmed to death with add on fees and they kept to the original estimate. I rec'd one estimate that was 100% higher, and I know that company had surprised my neighbor with a DOUBLING of their already high estimate. Pros: Professional Cons: n/a more

I highly recommend American Choice Van Lines. Everything about them is professional and efficient. You tell them an inventory of what you are moving and they give you a price. It's not based on how long it takes, so if you are moving out of the city (as I was) and the movers get stuck in traffic (they did), there's no need to worry. No extra costs. They email you a contract to sign so there are no surprises and then ask you to reconfirm with their dispatch department one day prior the move. I was happily surprised to receive a phone call on Saturday to confirm again the details of my move the next day. There was no doubt that movers were going to show up as promised. The moving crew was great. They were fast but careful. Moving is stressful but this moving company made it painless. more
