What maI moved with American Choice Van Lines for our move from San Jose to San Francisco. Having only moved locally I was a little lost as to who to call. I received a recommendation for American Choice from the condominium manager. I decided to give them a call. They were very friendly and professional. They communicated quickly and professionally via phone and email. They quoted the move and I found them to be very reasonably priced. Well under what I had expected. Moving team showed up on time! They too were very professional and courteous. All furniture was wrapped and moved with care. There was no hanging around and contemplating. They moved quickly and efficiently. The move went with out a hitch and I couldn't be happier. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family. Although hopefully I won’t have to, I'd use them again too! more

I used American Choice last week for the second time and they were outstanding. Alex, Antonio, Luis worked their hardest to get me moved out and moved back in a very timely manner (i.e. before the elevators turned over to the next person). Professional and congenial, these guys were great. American Choice gave me a very reasonable and accurate quote so their were only positive surprises at the end. I hope not to move again for awhile but if I do, I'm going back for a third time and know that they will continue to make it as painless as possible for me, and in a way enjoyable too! If you are looking for a reliable, trustworthy moving company American Choice Van Lines is the first place you should call. I had used several different companies in the past before finding American Choice and will never use anyone else in the future. In fact, this is the 2nd time they have done a long-distance move for me. They are on-time, professional, courteous and extremely hard-working. I have hired these folks three times now for moves and they are absolutely the best. Most recently, Alex, Alberto and Dima helped a family member of mine move to Boston. I was very happy with my experience with American Choice Van Lines. Excellent customer support pre-move. Vlad came to scope the job and when he left I felt confident that I would be ready for moving day and survive the experience. The day of the move the crew was a little later than I expected, but when they got there they were organized, efficient, friendly, and most helpful at managing some of the odds-and-ends that appear as a house empties. The final accounting was totally transparent, the clock started when the crew arrived at my door, the transportation fee was a set price based on the distances, not time on the road. The 5% discount for cash was nice and I ended up paying well under the company's estimate. I recommend American Choice as a reasonably priced (and no hidden fees) mover that also provides great customer support. more

I have moved many times and dealt with a lot of movers and these guys are the best. They moved us from San Francisco to Atlanta, GA. They came right on time to pick up our stuff, disassembled, wrapped, packed what needed to be and had it on the truck in no time. We had a lot of artwork and they knew just how to pack it so that it got to Atlanta in perfect shape. The arrived in Atlanta 7 days after pick up and unloaded and reassembled everything in perfect order. I had a question about the bill and the owner, Vladimir, emailed me right away, researched the problem and corrected it in my favor very graciously. They were super professional and, on top of everything else, they came in under budget. Theirs was not the cheapest estimate (although the final price beat everyone else's) but I had a good feeling about them, and my hunch was confirmed! more

I got in touch with American Choice Van Lines to help with an office move from San Jose to Miami, FL and they were great. They knew how to navigate a move in Miami with no problems, we efficient and definitely took the stress out of a crazy day. Two weeks later I unexpectedly had to help move a family member's belongings and American Choice was there to the rescue once again. They were very careful with all of the belongings and made easy work of a 4 stop move all across the city. I would hire them again in a second, two great moving experiences in one month! more

When it’s time to move, you know it's anxiety: packing up, finding a mover, timing, expense, uncertainty, etc. But when you move 2000 miles away, the anxiety more than doubles. On top of that, I had only a "minimum" amount of stuff-- a small studio-- to move. So how to find a reliable, long distance mover who won't either scam me or rip me off?? Searching for one on the internet, getting lots of lowball quotes and some ridiculously high quotes, then reading the horror stories on a movingscams website, just increased my paranoia. They guided me on getting a Parking Permit from San Francisco, and followed up to reassure about the timing of the move. Alex, the driver who showed up could not have been a nicer guy. No hassles at all. Delivery was smooth and quick. What more can I say? If you want to be smart, go with American Choice. They will save you not just money but your mental health! I really had a great experience moving from San Jose to San Francisco. They gave me a flat rate on travel time, and very good workers, they are fast and efficient I definitely recommend to anyone looking to save money and have their stuff safe in storage like I did, yes they gave me 1 month of storage for free because I wasn’t ready to move in my apartment just yet.. I had to stay at my mother-in-law's house for a couple of weeks.. my stuff was well taken care of go with five stars movers! American Choice is the best company in bay area. more

My family moved from Concord, CA to Oklahoma City, OK in late August 2009. I have heard of bad moving companies that would charge their customers double than the original quote on the date of moving. That made my family and I anxious when we were going to contact moving companies, especially that we are international. But from the beginning of my experience with American Choice Van Lines, it was all positive. Their quote was several hundreds lower than other companies. When we were open with him about my family's tight budget, he shared with us great packing tips that helped even lower our fee. On the day of moving, the moving crew were very professional, time-efficient, and friendly. After the move, we originally thought we had lost two boxes. During the process, Alex was helpful and patient in helping us find the stuff. But later, my family and I were embarrassed to realize that the boxes had been in our kitchen the whole time! The last thing to note, American Choice refunded us another $140, because the actual weight of our stuff was lower than his original estimation. My family and I are SUPER satisfied with our working experience with American Choice. We have already recommended this company to our friends. more

We moved from San Francisco to Ft. Laurdale FL with American Choice Van Lines. Six companies were invited to bid on the move. Three were eliminated due to lack of response and interest. Of the three remaining, we had a FREE in home estimate with them .The others required and online form to be completed and their estimate is based on this information with no guaranties on price. Vlad came out with enjoyable conversation and professional attitude. His quote was right on although higher than the other two the end results were actually lower. The online form was not accurate approximately 3200 pounds of stuff to be moved. Vlad was at 4800, which was just about perfect. There were no additional charges and no hidden cost. The day of the move the men came in on time and were very courteous and professional. The respected our stuff as though it were their own. When the furniture arrived in FL Kevin was there to receive it. Michael the driver and packer of the truck that left San Francisco was there to unpack. What a great feeling to know there was consistency during the complete move. They worked until 10:30 PM unloading and setting up our new home. more

The move with American Choice was different from any other we move we made. We were very impressed by their sales team and understanding that we wanted to choose American Choice Van Lines right after the initial visit - before we even got the estimate. When the estimate came it beat everyone else. They did the whole job from start to finish themselves. The same crew that packed our home also drove the trucks and assembled our furniture. They were polite, efficient and timely - in fact ahead of time! The crew chief, Dima and his team were amazing... They honored the dates as well as the quotes even though the weight came out higher. This is my first review ever and I feel that I have to write something. I called American Choice Van Lines on Thursday, Jul 9 2009 since I was planning to move from Walnut Creek, CA to Manhattan , NY in three days on Sunday. Most moving companies don't work on Saturdays and Sundays but American Choice does and I really appreciated on that. The moving crew was just awesome --- polite, careful about details and really professionals with heavy subjects. In New York they arrived on 53ft. truck, but they rent a shuttle, because Ny doesn’t allow semi trucks in Manhattan since 9/11. They unload the truck fast, reassembled the furniture. I am very happy with American Choice’s service. more

We called American Choice Van Lines over 3 weeks ago, my mother was moving to New Jersey and my fiance and I were moving across town. They send out the estimator to my mother’s house to give her a quote. He spent well over an hour with her and said they could pack and unpack her whole house. He then came to my house and gave me a quote to move to another city. Both moves were done amazingly well, stress free and most professional. My mother had lived in her home for over 30 years so you can imagine the amount of stuff accumulated. I cannot say enough good things about American Choice and his staff. Thank you !!! more

I was looking for a moving company to move from Redwood City to Austin,TX. for a reasonable price online. I found American Choice Van Lines. I called them on the next day and they recommend to send out estimator to provide accurate quote. The estimator arrived on time and made list of items and gave me fair price, all details about upcoming move. I decided to use them for relocation. Movers arrived on time, they wrapped all furniture with pads, mattresses with plastic covers. And I had all my boxes all packed and ready to go. Move was done within 4 hours (wrapping, loading the truck). Crew was fast and professional. Delivery was very easy and smooth. They put 2 Queen size beds together and my office desk. Unload and unwrap all the furniture. I will recommend this company for my friends. Thanks! more

Moving is always stress... except with American Choice Van Lines! They made the entire process pain free and fast. Very prepared and ready to do the job... even though I did my own packing they came prepared with a few extra "last minute" boxes- very handy when you get down to those last little bits without a box to spare!
