My first impression with this company was simple; they just confirmed a few details like weight and distance of travel. The lady gave me an approximate quote and told me that she would get back to confirm the final price. The call back came soon and price fixed was more or less the same as agreed. Likewise I make a decision to move my home with the help of American Choice Van Lines. The services provided were excellent; the prices were reasonable and as specified were charged as per the weight and distance. I in fact got a discount on the overall price as my weight was lower than anticipated, which was a nice gesture and something I never expected. My family and I were moving long distance and were in a fix to even imagine the packing and moving involved. Besides we just got a new born and have a dog too so the process had to be timed out and managed to efficiency. I was recommended American Choice Van Lines by a cousin of mine who had moved a while ago and availed services of the same company and recommended them strongly. The customer services lady was very sweet, she jotted out a plan for us in minutes. I never looked at too many companies to compare prices; as I was very interested in the service efficiency. The end result was just as my brother suggested, our belongings were handled very systematically and the packing and moving was done very efficiently. The truck arrived on time and the packing was done swiftly. The best part I liked was there was no throwing or rough handling of my belongings. These chaps are real cool; they provide provided me with a free quote which by far was substantially cheaper than any other company. When I thought of their quote being cheaper, the first thing that came to my mind was; will this be a quality compromise on my part. I however decided to go ahead with them. I just moved from Walnut Creek to Campbell and hired American Choice Van Lines. Overall experience was satisfactory; the loaders were very professionals and were well trained for their job. They handled the appliances and fragile stuff well. All the fragile ware was marked to distinguish easily. This is what one wants from a packing and moving company. No damage and affordable prices. The cost of moving was reasonable as compared to some other quotes I received and was worth every penny in terms of the services provided. I have had a very good overall home moving experience. We are an elderly couple and were moving our house; we hired American Choice Van Lines to do our packing and moving. The company is very professional and the staffs are courteous and well mannered. They made every effort to make sure that we would not need to help them. My husband is very fond of art work and was very scared of any damage to the paintings. The boys arrived with a lot of energy and on his request first packed the paintings. They patiently listened to Richard and his instructions and sealed the paintings with butter paper and neatly arranged it in a cardboard box. American Choice Van Lines is an extremely professional packing and moving company. They have complete knowledge of how packing is to be done. It was a pleasure to avail their services, the staff they have is very patient, helpful and mannered. The last thing you want while moving is any damage to your belongings. This is our second in the last 6 months with these guys. As with the prior move, no complaints whatsoever.\r The movers were professional and friendly. They treated my possessions with the appropriate amount of care, and had a good attitude throughout. I called them on a Monday, and they were able to help with the move on Wednesday. Great rate, no surprise add-ons, no phony travel charges, etc.\r I saw there were a couple of negative posts here. I don't get those, as that was not my experience at all. I had no bad experiences at all.\r Whenever I move again (and I hope it is not anytime soon, as I am tired of moving) I will certainly try to use ACVL again. more

We moved from San Francisco, CA to Atlanta, GA. There is nothing more I hate than moving. Hesitated calling moving companies since so many of them quote one rate and you end up paying much more. We received one flat rate from these guys and didn't have to pay a penny more.\r From the moment I began speaking with Crystal, my stress seem to have disappeared. She gave me all the step by step details and sent me a quote while on the phone with her. Although at the time of my call, I wasn't sure where exactly we were moving to or the exact date, she told me that they will make our move happen.\r When I called Crystal two weeks later with the date and address, she remembered me and pulled up our account immediately. She set everything up and told me that her guys would be by on monday, Sep 2nd between 9am-10am.\r The men that work for American Choice were there on the dot! I've never seen such AMAZING and EFFICIENT workers anywhere!!! They all had a smile on their face and were very helpful. Every single piece of furniture, lamp, painting, vase and anything else you can think of was wrapped carefully and taped to prevent any damage.\r Every piece of furniture was arranged in the room they belonged and my move was easy and stress free because of Spartan. Had a great experience with American choice van lines and this was not my first move across the country. I got two visual quotes and a couple of online ones too. V Lad from American choice was slightly cheaper of the two reps that came to our house. Price and transit times were our main considerations because if you're waiting forever for your stuff holed up in some hotel the costs add up pretty quick. They were able to offer a window between 2nd and 13th August which believe it or not is pretty tight compared to what the others could promise. Anyways, our stuff got there on the 7th.\r \r As to the actual service it was superb the whole way through and with everyone we dealt with. Once we decided to go ahead with them V Lad handed us off to Margaret in customer service but continued to check in with us. They were both great. All the movers arrived on time got the job done quickly and professionally. The driver was extremely cooperative who delivered and was friendly, helpful and courteous. Payment was easy and they actually weighed our stuff being as lighter than quoted and we ended up paying less than was originally quoted. Very appreciated! I needed to move a decent amount of stuff from one apartment to another. After making a few calls, I settled on American Choice based on their availability and reputation. The guy on the phone gave us a flat rate of $1810 to have three movers move our house from Santa Clara to Sacramento.\r \r The movers were a bit late getting to my place, but very apologetic once they got there. Armando, Alex, and another man whose name I forgot (sorry!) were very nice hardworking guys. They immediately assessed the extent of the job and got to it. They took care to wrap a couple of fragile items, like my digital piano, and Paddy even disassembled (and then reassembled) my big computer desk. At the destination, they had to carry all my stuff up to the third floor and, trust me, some of the items/boxes were pretty heavy.\r \r The guys did an amazing job and were polite, professional, and hard working. They were probably the best movers I've dealt with, and I gave them a generous tip in appreciation. I would recommend American Choice to anyone who's looking to move with a minimum of hassle. more

American Choice had the lowest bid for moving a small amount of stuff from one house to the other in the same town. I did their minimum amount of hours - 3. The guys that they sent out were excellent - from their customer service, to making sure my stuff was in great condition when it arrived at my new home. They worked hard and moved everything I had requested of them in the time allotted. They didn't mess around and waste time, they just did their job. This was important to me since I was paying them by the hour... The entire experience was excellent and I would highly recommend their services to anyone. more

Our pick-up could not have gone smoother, their driver was nothing short of professional and extremely polite. We have never seen someone work as hard or diligently as he did. They packed everything the day before and then loaded everything the next day. everything had cushions placed over them to ensure a safe delivery. We paid a few hundred dollars less than the estimate, received all of our belongings in exactly the shape that it was picked up in and were delivered in 2 days, how could it get better?
