Your staff was wonderful, they arrived on time, very friendly, put me at ease right away. Got to San Francisco before rush hour, every thing was put in its place, and there were no hidden charges at the end, you can't get any better than that. These guys have super competitive prices and really get the job done FAST. They moved my boyfriend and me out of studio (3rd floor walk-up) in about 1.5 hours, and into our new apartment (4th floor with an elevator) in about an hour. 2.5 hours overall, not bad! They do give you all flights of stairs included in their price. I wasn't sure if all of our stuff would fit in their van, but it did (barely) and nothing was broken at all. American Choice Van Lines staff was easy to deal with\r \r and no-nonsense. We got what we asked for and when \r \r the movers realized the truck was going to be too \r \r small, the movers and the office sent a second truck \r \r and driver at the same cost without even mentioning it \r \r to us as a problem. The move went smoothly; the \r \r time/cost was what we expected; the gentlemen who \r \r moved us were truly delightful. We haven't completely \r \r unpacked everything yet, but so far, it seems they \r \r moved our entire two bedroom apartment without a \r \r single item breaking. \r \r These folks are superb. more

We just used American Choice Van Lines last weekend to move and were beyond happy with them. Not only did they show up 20 mins early, they had us moved out of our old place and into the new within 2 hours. These guys didn't stop moving from the time they arrived, till the time they left and even set up everything for us. They actually even fixed my wobbly table for me! They use blanket pads for furniture - zero scratch.\r I've already recommended them to everyone I know and will for sure use them again in the future. Worth every penny and very happy. more

From my initial conversation with the office staff to the completion of my move, everyone I dealt with was very professional, courteous and totally put me at ease during my move.\r My biggest concern during this process was my grand piano. I found American Choice Van Lines a year ago and used them so my father wouldn't have to move me up three flights of stairs for an entire day. \r \r Mover came and unpacked my full truck in less than half an hour. It was nuts! I contacted Gordon about my move from Alameda to Tampa. He gave me an estimate which I thought was extremely reasonable. Moving day arrived and the guys who packed my things were fast, professional and took great care in packing my things in bedding and shrink wrap. My Move: I’ve done a local move from Saratoga to San Jose from 2-bedroom apartment (2-nd floor) to 3 stories single-family house. All boxes I’ve packed and moved myself, so only furniture had been left for moving company. Score: 5-stars++. Excellent. Highly recommended. I communicated with Gordon Munson over the phone and email. He “architected” the entire move and helped me with couple of “money saving” advises (because it was my first move). Professional communication. Excellent responsiveness. The moving team: Alex (fluent with both Russian and Romanian) and Armando. The team arrived 5 minute before the scheduled time. Assessed the actual volume in 5 min and accomplished the entire move in 5 hours with zero interference from my side. Both guys worked as “wrapping-packing-moving-unwrapping” machines! Extremely impressive. I was really happy that I decided to hire them instead of doing this move myself (what I actually considered after reading all negativities about moving companies in this and couple of other forums). Bottom line: I would recommend the team of Gordon, Alex and Armando to anyone! Comments: a) Don’t save on wrapping the furniture even if you move around the corner. Let the team to wrap everything in blankets and fix it with scotch tape, - walls in your new place may say “thank you” for that. b) In my opinion it is physically impossible for 2 movers to pack furniture only in 2-bed rooms apartment in 2 hours. 3 hours for packing should be used for estimation. c) Ask Gordon about price-list for expenses you may have along the way (like scotch tape or boxes). It is good to know about them when you are budgeting your move. more

Not only did they move more than they were expected to, they stuck around after they had already signed out to make sure that they put my furniture where I wanted it. \r I'd heard American Choice Van Lines has a great reputation in Bay Area so I tried them and I've never had such a great experience with movers! I heard they arrive EARLY and it's true, they do! I hated the idea that I had to move, I've done it so many times, but really wanted this new place. I didn't call the guys I used before cause they were terrible, I called a few other companies and chose American Choice because they were great on the phone, they gave me a lot of information about, insurance and things that I didn't think to ask about but they offered. most of the other companies just gave me prices, and no info. \r When the movers came, they were respectful and packed my things , (last time the company just threw it in a bin), especially my plasma TV. Delivery in Utah was smooth and quick.\r The quote they gave me was accurate and though it was a big pain to move, they were good, honest, on time and accurate, and nothing broke. what else could I ask for? \r \r more

I've moved 3 times in the past, most of the time with different companies but I just had the best move in my life on the last week with American Choice Van Lines. They gave us a very accurate estimate over the phone and help us plan our move. Soon their local dispatch called us and confirmed the job and went over the details. He also seemed very polite and professional, and assured us everything is going as it planed and the movers will come tomorrow @ 9 am. Not only did they show up on time but they packed nearly our entire apartment. Shortly after arriving, the Forman provided us with detailed information about the day and they started to work right away. Thank god they came with extra boxes and moving supplies and actually that we didn't even realize we will be needed! The packing obviously took much longer but once we arrived at our house they unpacked us in record time and even help us to reassemble some of our furniture. This was a painless move and really had a great time with the movers. The guys were very nice and honest and they couldn’t' t make the move more faster and more efficient and I must say, we were extremely pleased with their service. I used American Choice Van Lines again (for the 3rd time), this time to move just a couple of furniture that I bought recently from a great and well known store in bay area. A simple calculation between the store delivery prices, to American Choice moving prices made the decision very simple.
