We are a freakish family with everyone wanting to do thing in a way that is best suited to their comfort. We were to move and all of us had different opinions of how we were to make our move. We are a huge family of five husband, wife and three kids, it sounds like a fairy tale. We thought we could manage to move in San Francisco by ourselves but soon realised it was not our cup of tea and needed packing assistance. A lot of planning needs to be put in to insure that one moves safely and without any damage. We had sold our current property and the buyer had agreed to allow us the garage for 2 weeks till we move out all our stuff. The boys at American choice Van Lines came down and first started packing all our stuff and shift it in the garage. This took them 2 days. After this they loaded it carefully on to the van. This was to be followed by a delivery to our new address, which was within the same city. To be honest the move was just superb, there was no damage. There was a lot of furniture, crockery, clothes, electrical appliances, books and lots more. I was extremely impressed with the way this company was handling all the shifting. The glass stuff was placed in boxes and filled with shredded paper in addition to being bubble wrapped. When I checked the inventory I was surprised to see all in order only two wine glasses were broken. The company immediately agreed to compensate us for our little damage but we refused it as it was a very minor thing and quiet literally negligible. The packers even helped us set up our new place by placing the heavy stuff like furniture, refrigerator and washing machine where we exactly wanted it. This was not like a shift but more of a transport, American Choice van Lines agreed to the same for us. The move was relatively easy; it was moving a lot of stuff from our warehouse on the outskirts till our new shop. The move needed precision and the quality needed to be there as we obviously never wanted any damage. The boys at American Choice Van Lines came to our warehouse and separated all the electronics as per the usage. They further separated it as per the brand of manufacture and loaded it on to the truck. Finally they drove into the city and unloaded it in the same manner. The shift was excellent and we had no damage at all. There was on printer box which was slightly bent but on opening the box and after the inspection we found the printer in perfect order. This we thought was a very efficient and well planned store set up which American Choice Van lines had processed for us. Our boss was very happy with our decision and research which helped us to choose American Choice Van Lines and he has requested us to use the same company if we ever need this type of assistance in the future. Our experience was easy and low-stress from start to finish. Crystal was our contact in the office; she was extremely patient and answered all of our silly questions immediately. She made sure to check up on us during the weeks before the move to make sure we were doing okay with our packing and didn't have any questions or problems. We felt like that was going above and beyond, I mean what other company does that?? Once the move was under way we saw how well they guys worked and that they stick to their promised deliveries. Everything was done just as you would hope and everyone was very careful with our things. Our paintings were taken special care of and were neatly foiled and then placed in a wooden box. Crystal told us that the movers would treat our possessions as if they were their own, and they sure did. Well after this enquiry the phone never stopped ringing and then I spoke with Crystal. She was surprised that I had already booked a mover and I explained that I thought it was as simple as giving some information about my move. She explained the moving industry to me and gave me useful information about his company. After that I realised that the company with which I had made a commitment was just a broking company and was charging me double the price. I thank God that Crystal spoke with me. I did manage to get my deposit back from the broker and then I reserved with American Choice Van Lines because crystal their rep was honest and straight forward and backed up all information with websites and put everything in writing for me. The movers followed through with everything that I was promised and they were in fact trained professionals. In the future I will be savvier about choosing anyone for other services. When I was discussing my move with the sales rep of American Choice Van Lines, she ensured me that their movers would be at my place with all necessary tools and a van within 8 am on Thursday and they would complete the move within the same day. I knew that is not possible because they had to deal with many things and I never heard that professional movers are punctual. However when they arrived before 8 am. I was hoping for the best as they had already made a good first impression. I was actually surprised when they completed the entire move about an hour earlier than the quoted time and charged less than the quoted price!! With this my complete attention was drawn towards them as they seemed a very organised and honest business institution. Till now we had only heard of complains and damage which most customers keep going on and on about. We have also heard of companies changing their price at the very peak of the work, leaving the customer with no option but to shell out more and finish the move. I was more surprised when I did not find any kind of damage!! Truly speaking they have changed my perception towards the moving companies.
