They had to deal with a fairly complex situation due to the way my house is built and went beyond the call of duty to complete the job. I like to do business with complanies that really want to please the customer and this company is one of them. All their employees have been polite and on the job. American Air Conditioning & Heating do the maintenance on my air conditioning and heater. They come out twice a year so I've actually now just signed up for the twice a year service but their cost is reasonable and sometimes, they've made a couple of recommendations that I followed. more

American Air Conditioning & Heating have been providing annual maintenance and repairs for me for the last 6-7 years. Our last visit with a tech named Jason Sundt was excellent! He was extra polite, knowledgeable, helpful, and answered my questions thoroughly so I had an excellent understanding about the options available. more

since then I have to say the workers sent out have been polite and seem to really want to please. Also, someone came out and carved open the return vent. It still is a strain on the heater and probably will limit the life of the heater. I don't recommend American Heater because i feel as though I should have heard from the top of the company with an apology and compensation of some sort. more

American Air Conditioning & Heating is pretty good. We have an old house, and we've been hit with so many problems with the electricity this past year. The water heater and the fridge went out. They had to come out three different times, and on the third time they finally put everything on its own circuit. That set off some more problems, but we haven't had any for a little while. I'm hoping nothing else will go wrong, but the set up now makes it difficult to do anything. It's not their fault. It's an old house, and they do really good work mostly. They're very polite and very careful. They put booties on so they don't get the house dirty. They're efficient. All in all it's been a positive experience. more

Other than one time, which wasn't very pleasant, it has always been very nice working with American Air. However, there has been a recurring problem in them being able to figure out how to regulate the hot and cold air where its equal throughout the entire house. They have come four times and its been costing us money for them to attempt to fix the issue. One time they came and had it where one part of the house was hot and the other part was cold. Then the next time, it'll be that the part that was cold before is now hot all the time, and the part that was hot is now cold. We have come to regulate the temperature by closing and opening windows to get an equal temperature, but when I was growing up I lived in a similar size house and the temperature regulation was just fine. So I do not know what the problem is now. more

American Air Conditioning & Heating has perfected five-star customer service at every level from establishing an appointment, to confirming the appointment (on your schedule), to being on time with totally courteous, competent, genuinely friendly reps. Over a period of years, they've replaced my aging furnace and old flexible ducting with state-of-the-art devices all working perfectly. American Air Conditioning & Heating cleaned the A/C and put in new filters and outside, they cleaned it out. They were up in the attic and we had new insulation put in. They did a great job. I like their courtesy and willingness to answer questions. more

I've been with American Air Conditioning & Heating for quite a few years. I have a contract with them every year. They come twice during the year - once for heat and once for air conditioning. They hire clean men who come shaved or neatly trimmed. They are in uniform and always put on their booties before they come into the house. They use a drop-cloth when they're working on something. They have to go up in my attic and do things that could get dirty, but keep it neat. They have done a number of things for me, including a big project of replacing all of my ducts. I had them all replaced because I wasn't getting the AC in all of my rooms the way I would like it. They had told me for some time that my AC was good, but my ducts were too small. I finally decided to do it after they told me it would be good. They always have different suggestions if you want, but they don't push you. I have trouble with the digital thermostat because the old one was just so easy. This guy from American Air gave me his number and told me to call if I ever got frustrated. I must have called him four different times! He took me through the issue each time. I am 77 and have worked with lots of people over the years. Many just don't operate like the people at American Air Conditioning & Heating. more
