I've been a customer of American Air Conditioning & Heating for years and have always been completely satisfied with the service technicians and office staff. They are professional, pleasant to deal with and really know their stuff. more

I've already told someone else about American Air Conditioning & Heating because I was so pleased with the service. The only negative was that on the day they installed the unit, they were supposed to have an electrostatic filter to install in the cold air return and did not actually have it available. Other than this minor problem, I was satisfied. more

American Air Conditioning and Heating did explain well what they were doing before they did the work. They had to come back once and do more expensive work, otherwise the machine is fine and they did a good job cleaning it. more

Excellent service. American Air Conditioning and Heating put in a whole new cooling and heating system. The man who gave me the estimate told me that if I had any questions, he would be reachable on his cell phone. I was disappointed that I called him and was unable to reach him. The men working here were unable to reach him and I had some questions. Because he said he would be available and then wasn't, I was disappointed. Except for that everything was excellent. I would use American Air Conditioning and Heating again. I was very pleased with their service and they finished earlier than they said they would. They also cleaned up after themselves very well. more

Not the least bit professional. I booked an appointment 1 week in advance. Was told tech would be at my house between 9 am and 11 am. I then call them at 9:45 am to find out that the soonest a tech can come over is between 3pm and 5pm. If you like to waste your time sitting around - then please give these guys a call. The woman on the phone - Brenda is also rude. Told me she would call me back and never bothered. more

I found this company through google. My heat went out during the rain and they were the only company that could come out to find out why my heater wasn't working. the technician arrived at my home at 6:30 the appointment was a 6-7 so I was happy. the technician wen to my furnace and figured out what was wrong with it in about 35 minutes. I'm not technically savy to know what the problem was but he told me it was only 195.00 to fix it and he had the part on his truck. I called my husband he said the price sounds good (he's a maintenance manager at Boeing) go ahead and do it. I took the option of 3 months same as cash and he fixed it. The technician was polite and he wore booties while in my home. Since it was raining that was important to me. I am happy more

I dont remember it being this cold in a long time and I have lived in so cal for 51 years. I went to turn on my heater and it didn't turn on a few weeks ago. I had the gas company out they said it was a recalled furnace. (The name was premier, there is no recourse since the company declared bankruptcy) I called a few companies and scheduled estimates. I ended up choosing American Air for the following reasons. 1 showed up on time, 2 I met with Jim Jr (I believe owners son) and he answered all of my questions. He also referred me to a great sprinkler guy since mine wasnt getting the job done. 3 They were a better value and are installing a humidifier to help my sons allergies (doctor prescribed) one of the other companies didn't even know how and wouldn't quote it. Now the installation begins. They show up on time. Lay down drop cloths almost everywhere. Explain to me what they are going to do. Jim Jr drops by mid day to review everything. I thought that was a breath of fresh air seeing the salesman again. Usually they never come back. Guys get the unit fired up and I am happy. They clean up then leave. Now for inspection a company has to come out and test my ductwork (no Additional charge). My ductwork passes. Next day inspector comes out. Hes a normal inspector, show him around and I pass. This was my experience. I'm happy and warm. more

Living in Los Angeles area it is hard to find a company that you can trust, but let me tell you this is a GREAT a/c and heating company. Their workers only spoke English in my home (which is what i speak so it made me feel more comfortable). The left my house as clean as it was when they came. They were super polite. They were more than happy to answer any additional questions that I may have had. Seriously the list goes on. LOVE my system and LOVE this company. more

I have lived in my home for 3 year. When I bought the home they said the system was only 5 yearls old. Unfortuneatly the gas company red tagged my furnace and informed me it is 30 years old. more

This is a very professional company. I just had one of their technicians (Henry) to my home to perform an annual tune-up on my heating & air conditioning system. He was great and even put floor savers over his shoes to keep my home clean when he walked in. I have been very using this company for over ten years now and have always had an outstanding experience every time. more
