I've been with American Air Conditioning & Heating for quite a few years. I have a contract with them every year. They come twice during the year - once for heat and once for air conditioning. They hire clean men who come shaved or neatly trimmed. They are in uniform and always put on their booties before they come into the house. They use a drop-cloth when they're working on something. They have to go up in my attic and do things that could get dirty, but keep it neat.
They have done a number of things for me, including a big project of replacing all of my ducts. I had them all replaced because I wasn't getting the AC in all of my rooms the way I would like it. They had told me for some time that my AC was good, but my ducts were too small. I finally decided to do it after they told me it would be good. They always have different suggestions if you want, but they don't push you.
I have trouble with the digital thermostat because the old one was just so easy. This guy from American Air gave me his number and told me to call if I ever got frustrated. I must have called him four different times! He took me through the issue each time.
I am 77 and have worked with lots of people over the years. Many just don't operate like the people at American Air Conditioning & Heating.
