Worst people to move with, They lie, Overcharge and break the stuff. I usually donot write the review but this time I decided so that other people should be carefull before moving...

Recommended Movers 11/2/2011

Right from beginning the service from All American Van Lines was great, my appointment with the movers and they showed up right on time. The main reason why I hired movers was for the incredibly heavy sofa bed. Again, after carefully wrapping the sofa, they managed to navigate the three flights of stairs without a nick on any walls. Although they were drenched in sweat afterwards, they still maintained a smile as they moved onto the next big item. Then I considered the amount of care they took to protect the furniture, the difficulties of the staircases, and travel time between the two properties, and realized that 4.5 hours was quite reasonable. I presume my $700 had been well spent. Just have extra cash on hand for a good tip, as these guys do work hard. more

Professional and Pleasent from start to finish 10/31/2011

I'll keep this short and sweet. Why NOT use All American van lines? From the start they were professional and pleasant to deal with. They showed up on-time, were very careful with my belongings, and delivered exactly what they promised. Tremendous value and I would personally recommend All American van lines to anyone... especially someone who, like me, just hates to move! more

All American van lines moved a one bedroom apartment out 2 flights and in 3 flights across town in 3 hours. Amazingly hard working and knew what they what they were doing to protect the property. more

Excellent Movers! 10/30/2011

My Move: I’ve done a local move from 2-bedroom apartment (2-nd floor) to 3 stories single-family house. All boxes I’ve packed and moved myself, so only furniture had been left for moving company. Score: 5-stars++. Excellent. Highly recommended. I communicated with Christina over the phone and email. She “architected” the entire move and helped me with couple of “money saving” advises (because it was my first move). Professional communication. Excellent responsiveness. The moving team: Roy and Samuel. The team arrived 5 minute before the scheduled time. Assessed the actual volume in 5 min and accomplished the entire move in 5 hours with zero interference from my side. Both guys worked as “wrapping-packing-moving-unwrapping” machines! Extremely impressive. I was really happy that I decided to hire them instead of doing this move myself (what I actually considered after reading all negativities about moving companies in this and couple of other forums). Bottom line: I would recommend this team to anyone! Comments: a) Don’t save on wrapping the furniture even if you move around the corner. Let the team to wrap everything in blankets and fix it with scotch tape, - walls in your new place may say “thank you” for that. b) In my opinion it is physically impossible for 2 movers to pack furniture only in 2-bed rooms apartment in 2 hours. 3 hours for packing should be used for estimation. c) Ask Christina about pricelist for expenses you may have along the way (like scotch tape or boxes). It is good to know about them when you are budgeting your move. more

Flawless! What a great experience! Seriously. Ok, moving still sucks, but it sucks a lot less this way. Hire All American van Lines; you will not regret it. The owner, is on top of his game. I had to move from one office to another. Office to which I was moving had lots of requirements - on his own, Samuel went to the management of the new place and made sure everything was copacetic -- in advance. On the day of, I made these poor guys go from office number one to storage abc to freight company xyz, and then to office number two. Everything worked out great, they were so patient, super careful with my stuff, and the total charge came in UNDER the estimate! more

Friendly and Taskmaster 10/19/2011

All American Van Lines did a good job. I have used All American Van Lines two times now and with great results each time. The movers and and the foreman were wonderful. They not only did a great job moving everything, but they were very pleasant to have around and helped with a lot of extra little things at my new place. I was amazed by how fast they got the truck packed. Three flights of stairs did not slow them down one bit. Nothing got damaged and they did the entire job without taking a break. I would still recommend them to someone who is looking forward to move. Thanks. more

Superb Movers 10/16/2011

All American Van Lines deserves every one of the 5 stars. Professional, prompt, courteous, and careful. Their team showed up when they said they would, packed everything up, and quickly moved our stuff into storage. This was the most painless move I've done, which says a lot as I have moved quite a bit over the years. Hopefully this is the last time, but if it isn't, I'll be sure to call All American Van Lines again. They are simply the best. more

I found All American Van Lines through a friend that used them. They were fantastic - very careful with our things and reasonably priced. They even gave me free boxes beforehand when I drove to their warehouse. I had to cancel at the last minute due to a family emergency, and they squeezed me in the following Saturday even though they typically book up on Saturdays weeks in advance. Great job. Not only did they move some of my furniture out of my old house and into a neighbor’s house, but even dropped off some unwanted items (big items) at Goodwill for me on the way to my new location, AND moved a bed and dresser to a downstairs unit - all while being super pleasant and totally professional. Reliable and average 10/10/2011

For the past 10 years I have moved only twice to 2 new locations within NY. I have moved myself with the help of friends, and used multiple other moving companies, and this was the BEST moving experience I have ever had. The movers are super professional, and made sure all my furniture was well protected. Nothing was broken or even scratched . I wish I had found them before, will definitely use them if I have to move again!. My only concern was that due to some reason they did not accept payment thru card on that day and I had to arrange for a cashier’s cheque from my bank which caused some inconvenience otherwise their service was not bad. Thankyou guys! more
