Worst

Worst people to move with, They lie, Overcharge and break the stuff. I usually donot write the review but this time I decided so that other people should be carefull before moving...

Reliable and average 10/10/2011

For the past 10 years I have moved only twice to 2 new locations within NY. I have moved myself with the help of friends, and used multiple other moving companies, and this was the BEST moving experience I have ever had. The movers are super professional, and made sure all my furniture was well protected. Nothing was broken or even scratched . I wish I had found them before, will definitely use them if I have to move again!. My only concern was that due to some reason they did not accept payment thru card on that day and I had to arrange for a cashier more

Good going with All American Van Lines 10/10/2011

All American Van Lines offered us a stress free moving! Movers showed up on time, the paperwork was quick, the move was really quick. It took about three and a half hours to move from our two-bedroom in a a suburban area of NY to a 1-bedroom apartment in a skyscraper within the same area, both locations total cost at the end was $482 (three movers, I paid in cash) before tip. Got a follow-up call the very next day. And they were very much impressed, I would definitely use them again. Thanks All American Van Lines. more

Impressive Movers 10/6/2011

While moving certainly isn't fun, All American Van Lines makes it about as good as it can ge! I was seriously impressed with this company. From the very beginning, communication was great: they called me back promptly to discuss estimates, called the day before my move to confirm the time, and even called on their way to my apartment to let me know that they were about 10 minutes away (right on schedule). more

Impressive Movers 10/6/2011

While moving certainly isn't fun, All American Van Lines makes it about as good as it can ge! I was seriously impressed with this company. From the very beginning, communication was great: they called me back promptly to discuss estimates, called the day before my move to confirm the time, and even called on their way to my apartment to let me know that they were about 10 minutes away (right on schedule). After having spent the previous evening lugging belongings around my apartment to prepare for the move, we watched in awe as the three guys started clearing out the place in minutes. Unloading at the new apartment was also very fast. When they were unable to pivot my couch to fit it through the door, they hoisted it up from the downstairs porch. This did *not* look easy, but they took it in stride. Even with the couch trouble, they finished 30 minutes ahead of schedule (and under the estimated price). I feel like I never want to move again, but when I do, I will absolutely call All American Van Lines! more

Outstanding Movers 10/6/2011

For the second time, the team at All American Van Lines did an OUTSTANDING job at helping us to move.\r \r Words that come to mind: organized, friendly, efficient, straight-up.\r \r It was amazing to watch the team of three--led by Ronnie -- to haul up this gargantuan sideboard up a narrow, curved stairwell. Ultimately, through coordinated body contortion and a screwdriver, they nailed the monster--and now the sideboard adorns our dining room. \r \r I can't say enough good things about this company. Thanks! more

Move with ease 10/4/2011

I normally don't rely on the reviews available over the net , but felt compelled to write one fot the All American Van Lines. I've moved several times in the past and most recently thought of giving this company a try! The moving crew arrived and without much instructions and any hesitation completed my job in 3 hours saving me a decent amount of money. The crew was ex efficient also polite and approachable. I had some bulky items that hadn't been boxed yet, but they were so kind to load them on the truck without box lids and made sure they got to my new place safe and sound. The day after the move was completed, I received a phone call from their sales dept asking me how the move went. Another example of good customer service. more

I would definately use them for next move! 10/2/2011

I used All American van Lines to move from my 1 bedroom apt. They were everything you could want from a mover. They were on time, courteous, careful, efficient, and asked all the right questions. They made sure that I knew of their charging policies and understood everything. \r \r They moved a very heavy 3 seat reclining couch up 2 flights of stairs even though it barely fit. I was impressed by how cautious they were of making sure not to scrape the walls or cause any damage. I would DEFINITELY use them for my next move! more

Rock On All American Van Lines 10/2/2011

Fantastic! We used All American van Lines for a move. They started loading at 8:30 in the morning and we were waving good by to the crew (3 + supervisor) at 12:20. We did all our own packing and I moved 90% of the boxes into the garage the day before to speed things up. They loaded the truck, disassembled and wrapped the big items themselves. At the new house, they put together everything they took apart as moved most of the boxes into the house or left them in the garage at our request. The crew was friendly and quick. I only found two problems: a small scratch on the entertainment unit and a broken knob on an old lamp. These guys are about 40% cheaper than some of their competition and I can't think of anything that could be done better worth that jump in price. Rock on, All American van Lines! more

Surely Call them Again 10/1/2011

We have tons of books, heavy furniture and my husband has a bad back. Not a good combination. Add to that the fact that we were moving from a 2 floor condo (with all the books on floor #2) to an apartment on the 3rd floor. So finally we broke down and hired movers. We had heard and read all sorts of horror stories so we were a little scared of what we would get into. After reading their reviews we hired All American Van Lines . Joy and Mike and Mark showed up, Irish accent and all (love it!) and we were very impressed. They loaded up everything in record time, and unloaded it as fast. They were funny, very courteous, and easy going. If we ever move again (not anytime soon PLEASE) we will SURELY call them again. more

TheManger of our new condo recommended All American Van Lines, and we're very happy with their work. They showed up even before the appointment time and were very polite and professional. They took a longer coffee break than we expected on their way to our new place, but once they got here, they were pretty quick and efficient. Top notch job. These guys worked their tails off. Everything was kept intact. They did it in a timely fashion. Very professional. I give them an A+. The best. You never need to get on your knees and beg your friends and tell them how they owe you a favor and need to come and move all your cheap stuff. We'll definitely use their service again. more

Very Nice and Trustful 9/25/2011

I've never had such a great experience with movers. From the scheduling and confirmation emails/phone calls. We had 2 apartments to move into one location, they could arrange it with one truck for us so we could even save travel charge! They arrived 15 minutes early so they could be sure to get a good parking spot on the block. Everyone worked hard they took apart furniture and put it back together for us. Nothing was damaged. And, they were extremely professional. I would recommend these guys to anyone. very happy with their work, and would do business with them again (if we have to move again!). Very nice, trustful workers more

Moving is a generally daunting and disagreeable task, but All American Van Line made it much easier. They were very professional from beginning to end. I was worried about my stuff fitting into a storage space, but with the masterful stacking and arranging they did, everything fit with room to spare. They were right on time, worked quickly and efficiently and we're very pleasant. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them the next time I am in need of movers. more
