Worst people to move with, They lie, Overcharge and break the stuff. I usually donot write the review but this time I decided so that other people should be carefull before moving...

Professional and Friendly 4/25/2012

Every one of these 5 stars is well deserved. I am normally not one to write reviews, I just never seem to get around to it. However, we were so pleased with All American Van Lines that I had to write this. We used All American for the move a few weeks ago based on the reviews and we could not have been happier. Ronnie and the crew were all very professional, friendly and respectful with our things and extremely hard workers. We highly recommend All American Van Lines. You won't be disappointed. more

Professional and Inexpensive Movers 4/24/2012

Very professional, yet inexpensive. I scheduled with All American Van Lines just a couple of days in advance of my move, and I was happy with the process of making the appointment. The movers showed up on time, and my move took about 3 hours including the driving time. The stuff arrived in good condition. Couldn't be happier with the move. more

Superfast Movers 4/23/2012

These guys are great! Within 1 day of me asking for a quote, someone called me, gave me a quote, and scheduled a moving date and time. The 3 man team came on time, wrapped up all of my furniture, and moved it to my new apartment within the estimated time frame. Can't say enough good things about this moving company. I highly recommend All American Van Lines! more

Way 2 go with All American 4/21/2012

With the amount of things I had I thought it would cost more than $750 if we had taken services of any moving company.. Last time I moved myself to "save money". I spent about $900 moving and accidentally hit the truck of the neighbor with my rental truck ( part of the cost ). If you are considering doing it yourself remember that professionals always know how to do it better because they do this every day ,and that too twice daily Well it cost me about $600 and did an amazing job! They estimated on the telephone right on target. These guys are really incredibly fast and efficient. I have never seen people work that fast. They must be competing for amount of items moved. It's really a thing to consider All American Van Lines for your move. more

NO moving concern at all 4/21/2012

The guys from All American Van Lines were good . I actually lived a couple of doors down from this company , so when the time to move came , it was a no-brainer as to who we were going to use to move us out a few blocks away. We had way more stuff than I'd estimated (as always seems to be the case!), but the guys had us moved in just a few hours and were off to their next job before I even know what hit me. It was like an tropical whirlwind coming up and picking up all our stuff and put it all down gently across to our destination. My only concern was that due to some reason they did not accept payment thru card on that day and I had to arrange for a cashier?s cheque from my bank which caused some inconvenience otherwise their service was not bad and hopefully I won't be moving again for long time, but if I do I shall still hire them. more

Fully impressed 4/15/2012

I used again for the 2nd time and continue to be impressed at their efficiency and speed. I had 3 movers and they moved an entire apartment in an hour and 15 minutes! Highly recommend using them...don't forget to take advantage of their wardrobe boxes! I've had friends use them too and have been fully impressed. more

Good experienced movers 4/15/2012

These guys from All American Van Lines were amazing and I would not have made it without them-First of all I have very limited time. My job requires a min of 12 hours a day so I blew out as many emails as I could while working with all the moving companies posted on line. These guys were one of the few companies who actually called back. The moving consultant was very friendly on the phone and explained the pricing clearly. On the day of the move things went very well - the movers operated efficiently, were very friendly and professional. I still recommend All American Van Lines. more

Extremely fast, 4/14/2012

All American Van Lines was great to us - extremely fast, communicative on the day of, and friendly and careful. So much better than our previous movers who were grumpy and acted like they hated it.. AAVL was amazing! The final cost was even a bit less than the quoted estimate in our case, and they even helped us to fix a painting that had a bug in it. As moving is such an emotionally charged thing, it's great to have people who feel like they're on your side and care. I can completely recommend All American Van Lines. more

Can still try them 4/5/2012

I used All American Van Lines on a recommendation of a distant relative. On the day of the move the movers were on time, efficient and got the job done in a day. They complimented us with things like wardrobe boxes and pads which certainly is not a part of their deal so we din?t really insist but they happily provided us .. The crew was great! The team of movers were also very helpful in the initial process and followed up. They are very professional on the phone and were quick to go over all necessary details prior to the move. My only concern was that due to some reason they did not accept payment thru card on that day and I had to arrange for a cashier?s cheque from my bank which caused some inconvenience otherwise their service was not bad and hopefully I won't be moving again for a long time, but if I do I shall still hire them. more

Great Job! 4/1/2012

These guys are great. They are really flexible with setting up times and are very friendly. They let me come borrow boxes for free. The movers were fast, thoughtful, and nice. They didn't take breaks, even when offered. They moved our stuff quickly, but carefully and with a great attitude. Not a scratch on anything!\r \r Movers always make me nervous, but these guys really put me at ease. Highly recommended. more

Friendly & Comforting Movers 4/1/2012

We used All American Van Lines for our move from a one-bedroom apartment last week. This was my first experience with hiring movers and I was anxious after hearing endless horror stories from friends and co-workers. With that said, I was pleasantly surprised with my experience with Ronnie and his team, from the initial inquiry call to the actual move. The booking process was easy and clear, the two movers were on time and very friendly (and fast!!) and the actual cost was very close to the estimate, even after they warned us after seeing the apartment that we had an unusually large one-bedroom apartment and they might take longer than originally estimated. My only advice would be to clarify in advance how many wardrobe boxes they will have available the day of, as we could have used one or two more. I will definitely be using them the next time I move. more

Worth every penny!! 4/1/2012

All American Van Lines is really awesome! Worth every penny!!\r \r I have used them twice and both experiences have been nothing short of perfect! Not only are they very respectful with your belongings, they are upfront with any and all costs (which are so reasonable), they are friendly and kind, always prompt and on time, and are really flexible! For example, I found out the day before I was scheduled to move that I had to be out that night! In a panic, I called All American Van Lines and they saved me by bumping my appointment up a day and booked me as a third job that very same day! Despite being exhausted, they were still so friendly and respectful of my things! They truly take pride in performing their job perfectly!\r \r I wouldn't move without them! Thanks so much!! more

really efficient! 3/31/2012

I highly recommend All American Van Lines. They helped me move my boyfriend's things from storage to our new home (heavy tools, etc). I called them because their prices were very affordable. They organized the boxes in the garage just the way I would have wanted them (with very little instructions from me). My only complaint: they were really efficient! They finished the job in less than two hours more

Superb Moving Company 3/31/2012

These gentlemen have moved me four times in the past ten years. Every single time they have been courteous, professional but at the same time maintain a sense of humor. Moving sucks, period. However, these guys made the move much easier. They all get along well and you can see it while they work together. I thought of using another company but AAVL was, once again, available when I needed them. In fact, I trust these guys so much I am going to use their storage facility. Five stars every time! more

Real Pro's 3/31/2012

These guys are real pro's. Ronnie oversaw our move. He was great to work with and so were the other 5 movers. Why 6 movers you may ask? We don't have a lot of stuff, but we do have a 7 foot grand piano that had to go up 3 flights of stairs. There was some question about whether the piano could get inside the desired room. In fact, I wasn't sure it was humanly possible to get the piano up all those stairs, but these guys pulled through. What a team! These guys are fast, nimble, and hard workers. They have a good sense of humor on top of that! more

Comforting Movers 3/31/2012

I really really hate moving, but All American Van Lines makes it a lot less painful than it can be. I've used them twice so far (both in-city moves) and they were great each time.\r \r The first time I moved, I only had 2 movers and it took probably 3.5 hours or so (which was expected). The second time I moved, we had 3 movers, more stuff (moving 2 apartments into 1) and it took a little over 3 hours. (Both times, I only had them move the big items and schlepped smaller items in my car -- which is a huge pain, but I'm sure saved hundreds of dollars).\r \r These guys are fast, efficient and take care of your belongings. They bring extra wardrobe boxes, tape, etc. Next time I move, I'm calling them again! more

Will still recommend them 3/30/2012

All American Van Lines makes me understand that they are professional moving company, the moving crew is just so hardworking bunch of guys . I have already moved twice within NY from an apartment to a house, then from one house to another house. Althoug they were a little late but it did not matter much , they were professional, wrapped all the fragile items called often to ensure everything was on schedule also. They have good price packages that are exceptional from a moving service company . My only concern was that due to some reason they did not accept payment thru card on that day and I had to arrange for a cashiers cheque from my bank which caused some inconvenience otherwise their service was not bad and hopefully I won't be moving again for long time, but if I do I shall still hire them. more

Great Job! 3/30/2012

These guys worked hard all day. I had them moving a three floor loft down 55-70 stairs. They were fun to be around and really made this move smooth. Pricing wasn't the lowest, but the quality more than made up for the move. They went the extra mile and used creativity to get some of our large objects down from our 3rd story loft. I'll use them again if/when we move. more

fast, professional and courteous 3/30/2012

I never write reviews, but I'm compelled to write one due to the friendliness and professionalism of All American Van Lines. We had a complicated move and had AAVL held our stuff in storage for a month while we were in temporary housing. \r \r On both moving days, they were fast, professional and courteous. With only two guys, they were able to load the truck full of all our stuff (2+ bedroom) in a couple hours. \r \r I'm only knocking off one star because they slightly damaged an antique rocking chair. To their credit, they are reimbursing me to replace the caning. Class acts! more
