Worst

Worst people to move with, They lie, Overcharge and break the stuff. I usually donot write the review but this time I decided so that other people should be carefull before moving...

Well worth 9/17/2011

I've used several moving services over the years, and every time it has cost 50% - 150% more than the estimate. Not so with All American Van Lines ! The moving team showed up on time and had a great attitude, they moved everything with a smile, seemed to care about doing it correctly, and finished up earlier than anticipated. The moving crew had a great attitude, which I really appreciated on what's normally a very stressful time. Like everyone mentions, they are extremely efficient and I was also marveling at their ability to carry things up & down stairs. I can't say enough for thier service!! more

Well worth 9/17/2011

The moving team showed up on time and had a great attitude, they moved everything with a smile, seemed to care about doing it correctly, and finished up earlier than anticipated. Caring Moving Company 9/16/2011

All American Van Lines was actually recommended by one of my friend. These guys were great!! Ronnie carefully went through list I prepared. He then estimated the time it would take to make the move. I was on a budget, so Ronnie came up with the idea of having 2 guys (to handle a double bed down 72 steps!) to save me money! And then, they came in under budget...Could I ask for any more? more

Caring Moving Company 9/16/2011

All American Van Lines was actually recommended by one of my friend. These guys were great!! Ronnie carefully went through list I prepared. He then estimated the time it would take to make the move. I was on a budget, so Ronnie came up with the idea of having 2 guys (to handle a double bed down 72 steps!) to save me money! And then, they came in under budget...Could I ask for any more? They were so careful with everything. Wrapped everything in blankets and secured tightly in the truck. Not only were they careful, but they moved quickly. Oh, did I mention the workers introduced themselves, were polite and clean and professional? Also, they had a clean, modern full size truck. Based on my experience, I would not hesitate to hire All American Van Lines again. more

BLEW ESTIMATE BY ALMOST $600 9/15/2011

Dealing with this company?s management was one of the worst experiences I ever had. Their estimator was very nice but he blew the original $1250 estimate by almost $600. The team who moved me were pleasant and professional but quite a few items were broken or damaged. I don't blame the team because the job hours were way underestimated. After the move, the company charged my charge card twice without my permission. I called them three times to resolve the issue, once getting a receptionist and twice an answering machine and never getting a return call from management. If you use this outfit do not give them a credit card! more

Dealing with this company’s management was one of the worst experiences I ever had. Their estimator was very nice but he blew the original $1250 estimate by almost $600. The team who moved me were very pleasant and professional but quite a few items were broken or damaged. I do not blame the team because they could see the hours quoted to do the job were way underestimated. After the move, the company charged my charge card twice without my permission. I called them three times to resolve the issue, once getting a receptionist and twice an answering machine and never getting a return call from management. If you use this outfit do not give them a credit card! more

Not a bad choice 9/13/2011

The guys from All American Van Lines did my move a week and a half ago, and I can say without a hint of exaggeration that I have never seen anyone work so hard in my life. The team of three that I got was working on the clock, and could have earned more by dallying, but they kept racing back and forth to the truck. It was literally two hours between arrival at my old place and being done at the new place , everything in place as far as I know, nothing damaged. The guys for some reason did not accept payment thru card and I had to rush to my bank to get a cashier more

Reasonable Moving Company 9/11/2011

I moved recently from a house to a 1br condo. All American Van Lines were right on time, friendly, professional, and very fast. When I asked them to be careful when handling a specific piece of furniture, they absolutely followed through.\r \r Ronnie was also easy to talk to on the phone when I scheduled the move. Later, however, we had a little misunderstanding about the estimate. He quickly apologized and sorted it out. I was pleased.\r \r Overall, I highly recommend these guys and would probably use their services again! more

Excellent Service 9/8/2011

Best price and excellent service. The managed to get my entire place into one truck load. Moving in the past it has always been a two truckload move. They worked hard and moved some very expensive and very heavy items without any problems. I will use them again in the future and will never try to move myself now that I have used All American Van Lines. Thank You. more

Sincere and Honest 9/6/2011

I can't say enough good about All American Van Lines. My girlfriend and I bought a home and had to move two apartments into one place. they were prompt, fast, careful, professional...just simply awesome because they made the entire move free of stress like a cakewalk. The price was super affordable and they got us moved within 7 hours a few blocks away. I can't recommend them enough. Thanks All American Van Lines. more

Fast, easy, honest movers. They accidentally charged us for an extra hour and I didn't even notice because the cost was really reasonable. Martin at All American van lines called me the same night to tell me that they accidentally overcharged us and she sent me a check immediately. I highly recommend this company. more

Move was superb! 9/1/2011

We had zero problems or issues with this move, in fact it was the exact opposite with Jerimiah Williams being professional and very helpful. Originally it was going to be their agent that was going to move us but their truck had a last minute customer change dates which enabled their driver Mack and Jerry do our pick up and packing. They arrived on time and somehow managed to swing a huge tractor trailer semi into our neighborhood in Farmingdle. In fact they were so good that our neighbor who is also moving in the near future came over to get their information and subsequently called and booked their move with them also and they gave me a discount because of it. Delivery came 10 days later by the same truck. Not a scratch or problem on the delivery end either. Communication was terrific and just what we would expect from them. We don't ever post reviews on anything, never really had a reason to, this move was so smooth and they were so nice and efficient, this deserved a review. Good l more

Strongly Recommend 8/31/2011

I just recently used All American van Lines Moving twice in one month for a very difficult move into a building . These guys are great, hard working, and have a sense of urgency to make the move go well ... not to mention a great sense of humor. Adam is the best! You won't be sorry if you choose them and I strongly recommend them to all. more

My husband and I used All American Van Lines for two moves, with Farmingdale and back . They are awesome. The company provides good training to their employees before they become movers a. They didn't loose, break or damage any of our stuff and were a pleasure to have in our home. I'd recommend them to anyone and use them again. These guys were kept running up three flights of stairs - it was incredible. Nothing got lost, nothing was even dented, much less broken. They were incredibly polite and worked away to satisfy us.
