We have been expecting a call back for a week regarding an update for our thermostat that would provide a black screen. We have been living with a piece of black construction paper taped over the face of the display! And the following is not Adams issue but the company: we asked if there is an update to the software a very long time ago and have had lots of; "We'll get it out to you if there is one." No update has been sent and no communication received from the company. confirming the existence of such a thing or not. Good technicians all, bad customer service from the company. more

Josh T came out to perform the PM on the home and woodshop HVAC systems and finish some minor issues on the initial repair that required parts he had to acqire for the next visit. That repair began our relationship with AHA. We were sincerely happy to see Josh again. Not only is he an excellent technician but a truly pleasant person to be around. He did a thorough job on both systems, listened to our concerns for the future and gave honest replies to all our questions. He presented a clean and neat appearance, cleaned up after his inspections and left the areas around his work as clean as he found them. With Techs like this, we expect to have a long term relationship with AHA. When it comes time to upgrade the Home HVAC, we'll have AHA do the upgrade. In today's environment where everything is a rush and many company representatives act as though they are doing you a huge favor to show up to get paid to do a job, it's refreshing to have a smiling face greet you at your door, explain what they will be doing that day, and work in a professional manner. I'm a grumpy old Marine and don't do "Attitude" well. We look forward to having your company on our Call List, and Josh as our HVAC guy for years to come. Jared not only sized up the situation correctly: power cut in neighborhood resetting to Factory setting, but overload and reset the thermostat and took it off the wall to see if it would hold The new setting. He then taught me how to reset in the next situation. Today it is normal! more

A very capable and personable service technician, Gus, provide a tune-up and inspection of our HVAC. He also provided helpful information regarding filters and agreed to perform follow-up regarding the outdoor unit's pedestal. more

I met Mr. Spicer years ago when our HVAC went down. We had a bad experience with our previous provider (poor service and attempting to rip us off by trying to force a new unit). Albemarle Heating & Air was recommended by a friend. Mr Spicer is prompt, courteous, efficient, and very knowledgeable. Not only has he maintained and occasionally repaired our units well, but we moved recently and we specifically asked for him to inspect the new home’s systems. Mr. Spicer is a straight-shooter and honest. So when the new home’s 20-year old system failed, although I was not pleased to have to consider a new one, I felt confident when he advised it was time. It is rare to find such an honest person in an industry that has moved to upselling marketing and in some cases, dishonest system repairs to fool home owners to replace functional systems early. Because of Mr. Spicer, I trust Albemarle Heating and Air to do any work we need. I know he would not work for a business that was set out to deceive their customers. more

Scott was extremely efficient, kind, and understanding. He inspected my very old air conditioning unit, and attached a wire that is very thin, due to age. He is going to refer my problem to his specialist to install a new unit, with my hopes this one will last for this season. I can always depend on Albemarle Heating & Air. more

Scott has performed work on my heating and air unit a couple of times, checking on an issue I reported (which ended up not being directly related to the unit) and again taking care of some warranty work which was needed.
