Adam was here two weeks ago to perform a regularly-schedule maintenance on our HVAC units. At that time he indicated that one of the units outside needed to be leveled. He returned today and leveled the unit, and left the site immaculate. Adam is friendly and professional, always calls prior to coming over, is punctual, and is considerate of the customer's time and wallet. We have been using AHA for years now, and although we have had great service in the past, Adam is by far the best! more

Maurice Banks delivered excellent service to my heating and ac unit. He showed up in a clean uniform and was very polite, looking me in the eye, and taking the time to listen to my questions and answer them. I didn't watch him while he was in the crawl space changing my air filter because I don't feel like I need to watch technicians from AHA. But once he finished working on the inside unit, he then began to clean the outdoor unit which I'd never seen anyone do before. He explained to me that he was cleaning the coils to the outdoor unit. And while he was cleaning them, he told me of a clogged water line he'd found which he'd unclogged and cleaned, free of charge. I thanked him and then mentioned that perhaps I should make a note of it to tell technicians in the future. He reassured me that he already had and that it was something that technicians routinely check whenever they service the unit. He was also willing to help refer me to another specialist within AHA about the environment around my inside unit. Overall, a very thorough and conscientious technician who I would feel comfortable in having service my heat pump in the future. more

Tim Perkins did a superior job in servicing my three Trane heat-pump systems. He was meticulous and worked diligently to ensure my units were working to top efficiency. Tim was also very courteous and obviously is a highly knowledgeable technician. Having retired after running a family-owned air conditioning & heating business for over thirty-five years (our 92-year-old company is now the NJ-NY area Trane Distributor and owned by my nephew), I can attest that Tim is top-notch and a credit to Albemarle Heating and Air. Katie did a very thorough preventive maintenance job on our heat pumps. This is the second time she was assigned to our home and shows a great work ethic. She suggested a modification to the condensate pump in our basement to shut down the outside units if the pump failed to work. This would stop additional condensate from overflowing the pump container and causing a mess. Just a few days after Katie left, the discharge hose was clogged and the pump container filled to the point of tripping the relay that shut down the outside units. I cleared the discharge hose and the condensate was pumped out and the outside units came back on. Thank you Katie for a great idea and saving us a messy cleanup!! more
