Dependable, persistent and friendly professionals! 10/26/2011

I really like Ace Plumbing. The technician, Jeff, is very nice and personable. He even gave us his cell phone number in case we had issues. Unfortunately, we did get a leak. I tried to catch the water with a bucket. I gave them a call. Jeff came back the next day, but the leak had stopped. I felt like a fool! Of course, after he left, it started leaking again! I called him again to see if he could do something about it for me. At that point, he'd already been out twice. To us, it really seemed like he was bending over backwards to find out why we were having a leak! Finally, after a couple more visits, he was able to figure out what the problem was. Apparently, when he had fixed the initial issue, he accidentally created another issue and a leak started. This was something that would have happened with another plumber, it was just a matter of time. The thing about Ace Plumbing was that they kept coming back and were very persistent about finding and solving the problem. They didn't charge extra, and we never felt uncomfortable, I don't think we could say that with another company. It took some time, but finally he was able to solve our problem with some glue, chewing gum and duct tape! We have very old plumbing, and we will have to have our pipes replaced at some point in time. We will definitely continue to rely on Ace Plumbing for our plumbing needs. They are nice, professional, knowledgeable and extremely persistent! We'd recommend them to anybody. Mr. & Mrs. Morrison more

Made sure everything was done, and even cleaned the garage! 10/19/2011

I had Ace Plumbing install a water heater and everything is working fine. The guy came at about 9:30 and he stayed until about 4:00 or 5:00 to make sure everything was done that he had to do. He even cleaned the garage and completely swept the floor and everything. He did a really good job, and I haven't had any problems. Loretta C. Otani more

Quick response thorough job 10/19/2011

Lupe Espinoza performed the work.He explained each procedure and presented us with options. Our drains have been slow for a while so we opted for the hydro-clean. We anticipate large family gatherings this Fall and feel we are prepared at least on the drains. more

Our air conditioner went out at 6:30 at night and it was 100 degrees. We had a hard time getting anybody to come out. Ace Plumbing came out that same night and they didn't charge extra for working after hours. They fixed it in about ten minutes; this was our first time using Ace Plumbing. We found out about Ace Plumbing through the phone book. They had the brand of air conditioning we needed, and they had my city listed. The service prices are very competitive. Ace Plumbing is responsive to customer needs. more

I've tried other plumbers, and Ace Plumbing is excellent! 9/28/2011

Ace Plumbing was so honest! They could have told me that I need this, and this, and this, because I don't know a thing about plumbing, and I would have said it was okay. I had water coming up from the lowest wash drain and I thought it might have been the main sewer thing. They came and did tests, opening the cleanout and having me flush, but they said it was not my main. They went to the lowest wash drain and had me turn on the sink and came to find out that it was the condensation hose from the air conditioner not being over the drain. It was simple! SIMPLE!!! It was nothing! My God I was happy! And I was happy I learned a little something too. I have used other plumbers her in Sacramento. Yes, I've tried others, even though I have a friend who only uses Ace Plumbing. Ace Plumbing is excellent. I was never as happy with the others as I am with them, and that's why I no longer try other places. What's more, they don't charge more for weekends, nights, or emergencies, so that is also good. They've been around 42 years, so that says a lot, and I'll say they're well worth it. more

Timely, punctual, and get the job done right! 9/22/2011

The people at Ace Plumbing were prompt and professional. I've been using them for five years and I keep going back to them because they're timely and do good work. They have brought a water heater up to code and have done sink and plumbing-type work for us in the past. Ace Plumbing has also done some outdoor work on our sprinklers. They made us a priority when others couldn't help. 9/13/2011

I have used Ace Plumbing two times now, and on both occasions they came almost immediately after I called. This is what I liked most about them. The first time, it was really an emergency. The sewer pipes under the house had broken, and we were left with our entire plumbing system out of commission, two days before Christmas. I first called a well-know plumber in the area, and they told me it would be 48 hours before they could come to the house. This was very disappointing to hear. A friend of ours recommend Ace, and they were here within a few hours. They fixed the problem right away, disaster averted. I called again recently, and even though it wasn't an emergency this time, they were still out within the hour. There was a toilet leaking, and they replaced the gasket underneath for us. They did the work, cleaned up well, and we were very pleased. Ace made us a priority, and that's the most impressive thing about them. They were here when I needed them, which was very important. Our plumbing disaster was dreadful, but they took care of everything. The plumbers with Ace are clean, courteous and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. more

Plumbing problems solved same day with one telephone call!! 9/9/2011

I had a plumbing problem with my lawn sprinkling system, which was leaking. I didn't want to mess with it, so I called Ace Plumbing that morning after looking at ads in the Yellow Pages. They were at my house at 1:30 on the same day. They came with the tools and replacement valve that matched the one that I had. Ace Plumbing took care fo the work within an hour, checked it, and tested it, and it was a reasonable price. I did have trouble a couple days later. I didn't know how to adjust the coverage and pressure of the system, which changed since Ace Plumbing worked on it. I call them again, and they stopped by within an hour at no charge. They then showed how to adjust it. A couple days later, a coupon for Ace Plumbing came in the mail. I've been satisfied with the work they did and their promptness, and their follow-up. My plumbing problems were solved on the same day with one telephone call to Ace Plumbing!! more

Does good work and explains everything. 9/7/2011

The serviceman who came out from Ace Plumbing was definitely worth five stars. I found Ace in the phone book, and they have been the only plumbers I've tried that I like. I've had the same guy a few times, and he's very nice. He does good work,and explains everything very well. I was having an issue with the plumbing in my shower. The stem had to be replaced, because it was loose and I couldn't turn the water off. It kept flooding out. The serviceman was very detail oriented, and took care of everything. He even told me how long the work would last. I've had good experiences with Ace, and even recommended them to my son. more

This was the first time I used Ace Plumbing, and I'd probably use them again. It was easy to schedule with them, and I needed someone that morning and they were very responsive to my call and able to come right out. The tech who came out to service the shower was good because he noticed the washer on the counter and I hadn't pointed it out to him. So I liked that he was proactive and noticed things. He was quick when fixing the shower. I thought he did a good job. more

My experience was with the one guy from Ace Plumbing, as I haven't had anybody else but the one fellow, and that was Tony Ferotti. He was excellent, and I was very pleased with his work. I pulled Ace Plumbing out of the phone book, and I had no prior experience with them or plumbers in general, and Tony was the one that showed up. I'm very pleased with him, though I can't address the whole group as I haven't used anyone else, but I would use him again in a minute, and in fact I did call him again. The first time I had him out he did a certain number of things. I was happy with his work, so I called him some time later to have him come over and do some work that was unrelated to the first work. more

Ace Plumbing was excellent. I'm in a wheelchair, so I couldn't go over there, but I trusted them to clear the drain that was plugged, and they were very helpful. I plan to have them come once a year to clean it out again. more

We've used Ace Plumbing before, and the most recent time Todd is the one who came out. He was here July 5-7 and it was 100-101 degrees those days. Todd was removing an old sewer line and putting in a new one, and he worked his little head off! I wrote his supervisor and told him what a wonderful job he did. more

We had a plumbing problem and Ace Plumbing took care of it quickly. The guy, Jerry, did good work. They replaced the plumbing in the kitchen sink. Ace Plumbing had also done some work 4-5 months ago. They used to be down the street in the neighborhood we lived in so we chose them. Ace Plumbing does good work, and they're quick and efficient. more

This was the first time that I EVER called a plumber! 8/18/2011

I had a plumbing emergency and I was scared! I have never had to call a plumber before for anything, so this was the first time ever. I checked in the phone book and called two plumbers. Ace Plumbing was the second company I called, but I liked what they told me so I asked when they could send somebody. They sent someone really quickly! He came in and looked at the issue. It was a little more difficult than he had thought it would be, but he went to work and did a great job! It was awesome. He had it fixed within thirty minutes. Excellent service! I even got to pay with a check, when other places want cash. I think their prices are very comparable to other companies and they actually charge by the half hour not per hour, which was great. Speedy and efficient! 8/17/2011

What I really liked about Ace Plumbing was their prompt service. I had two problems in the space of about six weeks. I called Ace Plumbing and they showed up the very next morning as promised, on both occasions. The second issue I had had to do with my AC unit. Sometimes with the AC problems, you have to wait a few days for the service, not with them! I was very satisfied with their speed and the work they did for me. I will definitely use them again! more

Nice and prompt, but odd experience. 6/24/2011

The people at Ace Plumbing were very nice and came promptly when they were called. They replaced two main parts of my water heater. It was just kind of odd to me that they would come without even looking at the water heater, and it seemed to me that they took a guess. The first time they came, they just re-lit the heater and left. It wasn't fixed so they came back promptly and on the second time they decided something else was wrong with it. I'm a little critical. Ace Plumbing also couldn't get the parts needed as quickly as I had wanted but that wasn't their fault. I received partial credit for the first two visits. After the second visit, my water heater is now fixed and working. more

Prompt, pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. 6/23/2011

We've had Ace out 2 or 3 times probably in the last year and a half. They responded promptly when we called, probably within the hour, if not before. We've had a couple of different service people that were here, and they were very pleasant. They explained and answered any questions that we had. The problem we've been having is roots in the line, and they cleared it for the time being. more
