Michael L\r \r We had a mold problem 4 years ago and thought the mold had come back. We were getting a really bad smell on one side of the house so we called two companies. The first one told us they would clean out our crawl space for an exorbitant amount of money. The second one, Absolutely Spotless took air testing and informed us that there was no mold problem in the air of our home and no remediation was needed. They were right as I discovered an old moldy pair of shoes buried in the mud room and since removing them the odor is gone. I know...very embarrasing but I want to thank Robert for being honest and not trying to sell me a job like the first guy. I definitely recommend Absolutely Spotless if you have a mold problem!. more

I had a HORRIBLE experience and see that many other customers had and awful experience, as well. 75% bad reviews vs. 25% good reviews! The owner of the company ""Robert"" had such poor customer service skills. Quoting us a price of 250 for the inspection and 350 for the test. Never mentioned that it was 350 to perform ONE test. Once the inspection was finished the quote was up to 3200.00! We ordered a test and that test was said to be completed and reported back to us in 3-4 business days. That was important because it was part of a home inspection that we are trying to conclude. Over a week later and 14 PLUS phone calls (NONE of which were EVER returned). I asked for a reimbursement and that we will no longer need any results. We will need to go through a different company. The owner then responded with an immature attitude that he will not give me my money back and whenever the results come in I will get them and pay for them whether I like it or not. Needless to say, my attorney called him and ""poof"" he had the results ready to send them. Do to his immaturity in handling this matter I question the credibility of the report. I question the credibility of his company. There are many mold inspectors out there, do yourself a favor and skip the stress and use a different company. more

It's not every day that I choose to write a review on the experience that I have with a company but when I had Absolutely Spotless come to my home and take care of a mold problem that I had long neglected I was extremely impressed! The owner Philip spent a lot of time with me answering all of my questions about how he thought it got there, whether or not he thought it was dangerous to my health and how to fix the problem so it wouldn't come back. He didn't try to scare me like the first guy I had in to look at it. Well, now that the job is done I am happy to say that I made the right choice by hiring Absolutely Spotless. John & Eddie, the two guys who handled the cleanup were just as friendly, informative and accommodating as the owner. I've dealt with a lot of contractors in my 58 years on this earth, and I'm putting it out there that if you have a mold problem, these are the guys to call! \r \r more

First and foremost the purpose of this post is to commend Philip and his crew from Absolutely Spotless for a job well done. With that said, we have a home at the Jersey Shore that was flooded during hurricane Sandy last fall. We also thought we had done everything right at that time. We called in a contractor who ripped out the walls and the insulation underneath the house and then sprayed for mold. Then once the insurance checks came in we had our builder go down to rebuild our beach house. Little did we know that he would report back to us that there was a bad mold smell in the house. We then called a so called mold specialist and they told us we needed over $18,000 worth of work. We then decided to get a second opinion and called Absolutely Spotless. Phil met my wife and I at the house and tested everything. It turned out that the problem wasn't as severe as we first thought and half of the things that the free mold inspection company told us to do were completely unnecessary. It cost us about half of the first quote and Phil and his crew did a great job. We are now in the process of rebuilding and hope to be down for 4th of July weekend. I wrote this to let anyone who has a mold problem to call Absolutely Spotless and to ask for Phil. They will do a great job for you. more

I'm giving them a poor review based on their customer service. Philip (president) does not know how to speak to people. He should learn to address customer service issues in a better manner. more

We were one of those affected by the hurricane and found this company Absolutely Spotless on line. A very knowledgeable man named Philip came out to our home to evaluate the damage. Keep in mind we had someone else who claimed to be a mold specialist look at it first and he told us we had major problems and quoted us almost $15,000 to remove all of the mold. What I liked about Absolutely Spotless is that they recommended testing the house first to see what has mold on it and what doesn't. About 3 days after taking the tests, Philip called us back and informed us that the ceiling in our crawl space was moldy, however the walls and the first floor wall beams were fine. He quoted us $3,500 to fix the problem and we ended up saving about $10,000. Need I say more? We will be highly recommending Absolutely Spotless in the future, that's for sure! more

Our offices were flooded during Hurricans Sandy and after researching a variety of mold remediation companies on-line and speaking with several I chose to hire Absolutely Spotless. I dealt with the owner Philip and we were very impressed with all aspects of the relationship. First he spent over an hour evaluating the damage to the building, and then meeting with myself and the our CEO he was very patient in explaining the entire process from the initial testing to the diagnosis to the remediation process. We decided to have him proceed and everything went as smoothly as can be expected. The technicians that performed the work were extremely accomodating to our staff throughout the whole remediation process as they had to work around our busy office environment. The work was done extremely well and the cost was very reasonable considering the amount of work that was involved. I believe that when a company performs a service as well as Absolutely Spotless did, other people should know about it. I will highly recommend them in the future for anyone who has a mold problem! more

BEWARE!!! Owner Philip quoted us $250 for the visit / mold inspection and $350 for lab work after Sandy. $600 dollars seemed fair and in line with other quotes and he could come out sooner than the others so we asked him to come by. Once he was in the foyer he stated that it was $250 for the visit / mold inspection and $350 per lab test and we would need to have six lab tests done for him to feel comfortable, if all tests were clean, to declare the house was mold free for a total of $2,350. When we complained and asked him to leave he demanded the $250 for the visit and gave us the option of dropping one of the tests if the price was too much. So now he can feel comfortable declaring the house mold free with only 5 lab tests? And he refused to leave unless we paid him $250? When we complained again he agreed to only do 2 tests and if they came back clean he would declare the house mold free for $950. So now he can feel comfortable declaring the house mold free with only 2 lab tests? I am angry all over again just thinking about it. We agreed on the $950 but I wish I had thrown him out and called the police. The punchline? He wrote back and said there is mold and he wants $3,500 to clean it up! Now I have to pay a reputable contractor to come out and re-inspect because after doing research on this guy and thinking about it I cannot trust his report. I cannot trust this guy at all. BEWARE! Scam artist!!! The owner Phillip came to our house after we tried to cancel our appointment. He ignored the phone calls showed up anyway, pushed himself into the house and demanded $250 when we told him we didn't want to use his service. He proceeded to get loud, angry and demanding as we explained that we didn't want his services. After he refused to leave our house we offered him $50 for gas which he stated could only cash or a check written out to cash. This triggered our suspicion and threatened to call the cops which finally sent him running out the door. He was the most rude, unprofessional person we have ever dealt with and was obviously looking to rip someone off. Everyone please beware of this scam artist and his tricks. more

We were over charged for our mold remediation. Told not to worry, we will be reimbursed by insurance. NOT TRUE! more

I recently had my windows cleaned by Absolutely Spotless. They did such a wonderful job that when my children came home from school that day they noticed immediately. My windows look brand new. The gentlemen who came to do the work were professional and courteous. I have since contacted Absolutely Spotless again to have my fathers home cleaned. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. more

I just wanted to say that the two technicians that Absolutely Spotless sent to my place, did a very good job. Their names were Darrion & Dustin, if I am reading the invoice correctly. They were friendly, polite, conscientious and, I believe, genuinely did their best. They also got to work quickly and cleaned up the tons of dryer lint that collected on the ground, which I (and my sore back) appreciate. Wow, this company is refreshing! They answer the phone when you call, they're informative, and most importantly, reasonably priced. I had a mold problem and Philip took us step by step through the process. From the initial testing stage all the way to the final cleanup, he was very patient and easy to work with. This company did a great job! My husband and I had a leak in our basement from some old pipes and ended up with half a foot of water in our basement. I immediately did a Google search and ended up calling Absolutely Spotless. They showed up at our door in about an hour and proceeded to pump out the water, pulled up our carpet, cut the wet sheetrock out and left fans in the basement for several days to dry everything down. I must say, they were one of the most professional contractors we have ever hired! They even spent a lot of time helping us with our insurance claim. We highly recommend Philip and his crew if you need this type of work done! more

I am not surprised by the above post that the owner Philip Kossoy did not honor his contract and is being taken to court. I received a call from one of his employees over the weekend before my Monday scheduled appointment, requesting a time change. The message was very clear and correctly referenced the precise window originally scheduled. When I called back the owner answered and said NO, NOONE called you. STRIKE ONE. Then I searched my phone and found the person's name, verified the company's/called from number, and time they called and again Philip said, ""I have noone working for me by that name and I can tell you as the owner of the company that noone called you to reschedule your appointment."" STRIKE TWO. No strike three necessary. This is an unprofessional service that, based on the interaction with ""The president of the company"" I wouldn't even think of doing business with. more

I have to say, Absolutely Spotless really lives up to their name. I had a tennant who basically trashed my rental property and this company did an incredible job of restoring the home back to the way it was previously. They first sent a crew in to remove all the debris from the house, then a cleaning crew that basically scrubbed every surface clean. I was especially shocked at how they were able to get the carpets clean enough that I did not have to throw them out. If you ever need a heavy duty industrial cleaning, Absolutely Spotless are the people to call! more

We hired Absolutely Spotless to inspect our home for mold as we were getting sick and our family doctor thought it might be toxic mold poisoning. Philip came out to our home and after testing we found out that our family doctor was right. We had mold in the air and they set up these big air scrubber machines that sucked it all out. We are very happy with the work Absolutely Spotless did and highly recommend them if you have a mold problem in your home. more

We just moved to the area and had quite a few projects that needed to be done around our home. During our online search we discovered this company Absolutely Spotless and boy are we glad we did. They cleaned our home before our furniture arrived, they cleaned the Air Duct system, steam cleaned our carpets and power washed the house, and back patio. Each of these services were performed with great attention to detail and my wife and I could not be any happier. We highly recommend Absolutely Spotless! more
