I have been going to Joy (the owner of Zing) now for years. When I was 7th grade and starting middle school my hair was out of control curly. My step mom took me to Joy when she was still at Mane NV because she is certified in straighting with heavy duty chemicals. I had gone to tons of stylists to try and get my hair straightened so I could fit in, and Joy finally was the one who got it done! She seriously put my mom and I in tears when we saw my beautiful new straight hair. I followed Joy up to her new salon Zing and I love it. The salon is fun and relaxing. Joy still does an amazing job with my hair every time. She really did change my life and raised my confidence when she was able to do the job no one else could. After finding great salons in other towns I've lived in on this site, I searched Boulder up when we moved and found Zing. I made an appt and to my delight it was with Alyria Cordova. We connected within minutes regarding how I wanted my hair. It was a significant cut (not just a trim) and I loved it instantly. A week later, I'm still loving it. It is easily the best cut I've had. Simple to manage and looks great. I would without hesitation recommend Alyria. She is personable, professional, and knows what she's doing! Zing Hair is outstanding!!! Where to begin....the salon is open from 10 to 10 everyday. The owner is available and gives one of the finest hair cuts I've had in years. I walked in off the street on a Sunday evening to a lively, clean, upbeat and best of all friendly group of young women. The pink lady, owner Joy, warmly greeted me and asked if I was looking for a haircut tonight-which was on a Sunday evening....talk about a hands on owner and the cut..just speaks for itself. Go check out this salon. You get amazing service, walk-in availablity for just $40 this was a bargain. I am looking forward to my next cut with my new stylist JOY DOUGLAS!!!! I've been going to Joy Douglas for over a year now. Since my first visit, I've recieved rave reviews on my hair. She's taken me to fun places like pink.....and I mean bad ass highlights...to a more normal rich color, still with dynamic highlights. My current doo gets atleast 1 complement a day...no they aren't my friends. But, my friends.....well, they all tell me it's the best it has ever been........from friends of 10 years.....I guess somthings going right. If you don't like how I feel. Check out the inside.
