The service tech Phil was extremely courteous and was very knowledgeable. He did his best to help us but the part we need had to be ordered so they are supposed to come back on Monday the 19th. more

Service and price 12/7/2016

The service was fine. Phil the technician came to service my furnace on Sat.Dec 3rd because I had no heat. The heat was restored but again no heat on Sun, Dec 4. Called Zinner & Ritter to report no heat on Dec 5th. He returned Dec 5 install an electronic igniter. Didn't realize it would turn out to be very expensive. I'm a senior citizen on a fixed income so thought I would get a senior rate. more

Replace heating element in bathroom 12/7/2016

Earl gave an estimate on replacing the heating element in my bathroom which no longer fits properly because of a recent renovation. He explained everything I need to do to prepare the area for Zenner and Ritter to come in and complete the job. Very personable and professional. more

Service for furnace 11/13/2016

Technician took the time to test the furnace motor to determine whether we needed to replace the entire unit or just a chip connection which would be a lot cheaper. more

Heating services 10/5/2016

Mobile home furnace. Furnace was blowing cold air. Low flame error code. Ignitor changed and it helped a little, still pretty cold. No error codes. Called Zenner & Ritter to fix. Greg M. checked gas pressure at 2 ports, pressure fine. Took gas valve apart, spider and nest inside. $89 service call plus first half hour of diagnostics. Charged $120 total for about 50 minutes of work. Not bad considering professionalism, most companies I called won't work on mobile home furnaces (one guy didn't show up, one came and wouldn't work, some declined over phone), and a tricky fix taking apart the gas valve. Spiders may be attracted to gas, lesson learned. more

Heap clean and tune 10/3/2016

I have always been satisfied w Z&R. They did show up for the above service which I did not have an Appointment for, we have an abnppointment on 11/2 for the above service. 5 Stars for this company, have been using them for over 35 yrs more

Service A/C unit 8/18/2016

Tech checked A/C and found it low on freon. He stated that the A/C & furnace were both 26 yr's old and that they should be replaced.He charged unit with 2.5 lbs of Freon which would allow it to run until it was replaced !!!! He stated that most of the cost of the Freon would be deducted from the price of a new furnace & a/c. When I mentioned that to your salesman who gave me a price on new units he said that was not true!!! As the cost of the Freon was $ 250.00 he agreed to refund a much lesser amount. Obviously I was not happy with this arrangement. The A/C did run better after it was serviced. more

Excellent Service and installation 6/26/2016

This past week I had a service call scheduled. The technicians were prompt, courteous and very professional. The news they had to give me was not very good. I needed a new furnace. The service technician patiently explained my options for a new furnace. Since I was very comfortable with them, I ordered a new furnace with Zenner & Ritter without doing any further research. This is something I rarely do. The installation was four days later. I had the same positive experience with the installation team. My communication with the office staff was also very positive. I would highly recommend Zenner and Ritter for any heating needs. more
